@@nurulaliah792 there are quite many reasons but MBA is fully in English and better organized than regular Business Adm master programs so dont worry about it. I took a few classes from them and I would be ok to be a regular there… less students, nicer faciliated classrooms and more comprehensive curriculum. The regular track is just for Chinese students who fail to enter universities in China and pay their way off to make the school rich 🥲 They don’t speak English at all, most of them don’t speak Korean either. They just memorize everything and pretend like they know. No critical thinking, no free discussion in the classes. And there are too many students that profs cant even help you with your final projects where you need to come up with your own idea and present, then they complain about your topic or research methods 🤡 also all materials are in English but every body speaks Korean during lecture so there is not even a source to learn the Korean vocabulary in the classes 🤡 and international office does not let international students in masters know about anything going on in the school…

I think its cz of your topik score. I had no language proficiency in korean just a basic level-1 certificate from online classes so it happened in english.

Yay welcome!! I think you should start preparing now since it takes a while to get everything taken care of~ and then you can apply once you graduate 😊 unfortunately you have to pay for all of the documents in order to send your application to gks so there is a risk of wasting your money... 🥺 that's the downside of applying because it's not guaranteed that you'll get accepted 😢 and then the visa will be taken care of if you get accepted! Good luck with your application process!! Btw I did gks G so maybe my answers could be different from gks U? So double check the niied guidelines just in case 😊

Which intake you was planning for? Did you got admitted to the university before applying gks?

So we can choose any three universities our our choice

Hi! Umm I think you need to have a topik certificate... is it possible to take the test before you apply? If you're applying to the graduate program, high school GPA doesn't matter, but it will be a major factor if you're applying to the undergraduate program. I heard it's pretty competitive, so it all depends on how you compare to other applicants~

@@virginiasvoyage Apparently there is a Online korean test from KU but there is literally no link for it so ;( I was just planning to apply regularly meaning undergraduate ? My highschool GPA rounded up is like 2.0 which ik is really bad 😭

@Gayatri-iw9pl there's a list of universities that are type A and type B when you apply for GKS, and the type B ones are usually in smaller cities and not quite as prestigious as the type A ones (so usually easier to get accepted into)

Hi!! Since I applied via embassy track I'm not 100% sure, but I think for the 2nd round with NIIED you might not have to interview since you are a university track applicant~ You might be done for now~ Hope you get good results!

I think Korea University is the most well known program and it also is the only one in Seoul that offers many classes in English! I'm not sure of the ranking of other universities, but it seems like most korean universities offer that major! But most seem to be only in Korean 😅

i have two most important queries can you please tell 1.what's the difference between high school graduation certificate and marksheet ?are they same 2. if we are going to apply with embassy track so there would be 4 sets 1 original and 3 photocopies so in other 3 copies i will obviously mention three universities in each study plan separately and i wanna ask in the original set do we have to mention the name of all three universities or single one ?

1. I don't know much about gks undergraduate but I think the certificate is like your diploma and the marksheet is a list of your grades. 2. Actually the copies will all be exact copies as the original, so you need to write essays that can apply generally to all the universities instead of each 3 that you're applying to~

Hi! You can apply to the embassy track first and then if you get rejected, you can apply to the university track. This is because the deadline for university track is usually after the deadline for embassy track. Unfortunately you can't apply to both at the same time

Is there something with chungang university, last year i also got interviewed by them and from the beginning they doesn’t seem interested and didn’t even asked me anything much and was in rush to end the interview. I haven’t got selected unfortunately.

I searched for my courses in all universities, I did research about the courses and labs in each university, and only one university contacted me for an interview. But, i did that interview dirty. I was blah-blah, I shouldve been more specific. I wonder why the other two didn't contact me, maybe it's my mistake for not reaching out to their professors or labs. But I think gks has become more competitive that, it has come to a state where they only select students with more than 90% marks or with topik 4 or 5. But, I will try next year, but, can you help like, what are the documents you submitted, internships, or training you did that you feel like it helped a lot during the evaluation.. can you make such videos??

@blinkteumeforeverstay4769 actually some universities, especially SKY, don't conduct interviews because they have too many applicants, so it probably wasn't your fault. I also only had one interview and it was the one university that ended up rejecting me lol I think if you watch the video about my personal statement it can be helpful! I didn't have any internships or any experience with media, so I think it was my experience in Korea and Topik that probably helped my application, but of course I'm not positive about that~

I actually have an internship which I did at Kyung Hee University when I was doing my undergrad. Plus I have many extracurricular, and I still failed. Hi everyone, i applied for English education at Korea university but i don’t know if they do interview or not. I applied personally and i meet the requirements, my ielts score is 7 and my gpa is 3.31 out of 4.00 so what do you think? Is there any chance to get admitted to university?

It will just depend on the competition but as long as you meet the requirements you definitely have a chance! If you're doing university track, there will probably be an interview...

@moonchild._._ I don't think the university ranking should affect your chances and the work experience should also not be a problem. The 75% graduation might make it a little more difficult to be honest, but it all depends on who your competition is~

It depends on where you will live. The dorms don't allow pets, but you could find an apartment that lets you have pets~

@@Lisalee-xj1xb you won't need to contact any professors since it's undergrad 🙂 and I'm not sure about the exact date, but since the application for this year's gksU just ended, you could check on the studyinkorea.go.kr website and see the dates~ that will give you an idea for how the timeline will be next year

I have few questions 1. Can GKS- U scholar do part time jobs other than related to major ? 2. Is the stipend enough ? 3. GKS scholar allowed to drive and get licence? 4. Can we do job in korea after completing the degree ? 5. Do the majors change every year ? I m planning to apply for GKS u 2024 so can I just choose my uni and course right now .

Thank you for your questions~ 1: I'm not quite sure about GKS-U since I'm GKS-G... 2: honestly not really....... I would suggest saving up some money that you can bring with you just in case~ 3: yep! I made another video about this, but you might be able to trade in your current license depending on the country you're from! 4: Yes as long as you get a working visa~ 5: I think most are the same but sometimes there are some changes, it should be fine to plan ahead :)

@Divina good question! Yes I believe that if a student goes to undergraduate through GKS they can apply to go to graduate school through GKS again~
