    This person has more experience about cycling than 99% of anyone on the channel before. Her thoughts about aero bikes and light climbing bikes are what a matured cyclist would come to realize. Comes from many many experience of riding all kinds of bikes and locations.

    I wasnt so keen to watch the previous episode of the lady in pinarello dogma.. but this is definitely interesting and worth to watch. TBH i do not agree 90% of what min's thoughts but at least her thinking deviated from those ppl who only obsessed with their power performance and weight of the bike.Personally i feel the bike shd be build on your own skills and strengths rather than follow the logic of getting the lightest bike correct way to go becos everyone is following so.

    Totally agree with them on the question of vibration (which will also largely depend on tire pressure). I ride steel just because the road feel is nicer. Less high frequency vibrations coming through the handlebar and saddle and a more responsive energy return when you are dancing on the pedals. It feels more lively and fun, even though it is less stiff than a carbon or aluminium race frame. Another advantage with steel is that the BB shell is less likely to be deformed because it can be thicker and have its own threads.

    170cm with 80cm inseam. Most women have longer legs. The stack and reach is important. Tall stack short reach. Like TT bikes, Specialized Shiv is very popular with women while Cervelo P and Argon 18 E are short and long are popular with men. On her riding experience, she is a macro adapter not a micro adjuster. She can adapt to ride Audax well. For crank lengths, to smash with shorter cranks is like Honda VTEC, just increase cadence. Long crank lengths is like V8s.

  • @RKNG
    @RKNG5 ай бұрын

    Shortening the handlebar length brings your arms closer, consequently reducing the reach. To offset this change, you'll require a longer stem.

    i think she needs to go lower on the size but use longer stem. thats what i do after using size 50 on bianchi with 100mm stems, and then changed to a seka with size 47 and 120mm stems, that helps with the crosswinds. plus, that it saves some weight 😅if not change the size maybe just change stem if its still tolerable with 100 or 110mm.

    look at how many spacers she has already. dropping a size would only make that worse, as the stack would decrease..

  • @dddreeeeeee

    thats exactly the reason to go one size down, but then longer stem, with the same arm length, and bent arm. not like how she rides in the video, with locked arm. then it will fit. obviously still need to check if she can tolerate it. but bent arm means less hand pressure as well, but sacificing a bit moe on the abs and back. @@lairdgallagher3620

No offense to her but I have to say, this interview flush out who she is and what she knows and experienced more than what I've seen on her own channel. **Update** she actually talked about being inactive on youtube The acting roles was very interesting. She should upload the clips of her to her cycling channel. I want to know if she ever watch the movie Universal Solders the return(released in 1999)

    I do not really agree on this but that’s my 2 cents. Not everyone is a climber and not everyone is a long distance rider also. Some riders may be very fast but once long distance they can’t take it.

    @@chenjx83 Those are roles. If you don’t get paid to ride and race, if you don’t ride a bike for a living; stop classifying yourself as a climber, a sprinter, a rolleur, time triallist, as a domestique, etc. You’re just a cyclist. Back to my point, distance is overrated. Look at NP (Normalised Power) and ride duration/time. That is absolute 💥
