Hey edward. I pop in your videos here and there. Really nice to see someone falling for watches. Im not saying this from a negative standpoint. But i would say slow down a little, its super common for people to get into the hobby and buy many pieces and then so many pieces sit around. Start exploring some of the other not so popular brands, again no criticism wear all your watches in great health.

It's great - good video, I do have one question though - do you use the bezel? Because if you used it for things like time elapsed or how long untill this or marking when you started something to know how long you've been doing that I.e cooking or walking - it can be a really powerful daily! I'm thinking about going with the gmt batman so it won't have the same bezel markings but I'll be able to twist it to show time elaspd and set it to like a time I need to be somewhere and it'll show a countdown for me (granted the numerals on the bezel aren't the same as on the sub) so yeah - In my opinion the sub bezel is such a powerful tool if you use it correctly

@EdwardFKim yeah not a fan of the new version or any of the new rolexes. Just makes no sense a full golden and blue sea dweller and all the new variations of the sky dwellers - would've preferred a rose gold two tone jubilee on the gmt maybe a new comer for the rootbeer

love the realness of your decision.. i have this same watch coming in two weeks. Great choice and cheers.

10000% I considered the Batman. But I’ve got my eyes on some other GMTs. And out of the subs, this one spoke to me. But hell yeah Batman and batgirl are super dope. I also like the weight on the white gold feels good on the wrist.

Nice choice! I went with the full yellow gold Sub, blue dial. Also have the white gold meteorite GMT which I’d recommend.

Love UK culture. Massive fan of British Invasion music starting with the Beatles, the stones, and the kinks and the Britpop wave with oasis, blur, pulp, etc. Sex Pistols, the clash, and the list goes on and on. I visited London and got to watch Noel play at Royal Albert hall for teenage cancer trust show way back when he first went solo. Can’t wait to go back. In regard to the Smurf, I love it. If I knew what I knew now back then, I’d have gone for the Smurf instead. The blue dial is just so much more unique that the black dial. I love the blue on blue monochromatic look of the Smurf. Go for it!

If you're an accomplished and young attorney and you have these kinds of excellent tastes, and a family, you probably have more of a right than most to get a big head. But just the thought that you were empathetic enough to reply back in a non confrontational way to something insincere I said earlier, is good character. I wanted to thank you on another note. I came across your video discussing Saint Michael t-shirts and then later on in the day stumbled on the SM and Bape collab Beevis and Butthead, amongst other really cool shirts. Im a lot younger than you, but still a college graduate, and will use the hype beast and dhgate avenues to hopefully get some replicas. Im really drawn to the styles and don't want price to be a limiting factor. It will have to do for now. But I was thinking how gratifying it must be to reward yourself and your family with luxury items as just a way to enhance your lifestyles. Ive also come across some cool BP and GMF factory Cookie Monster submariners, and also this cool 36mm yellow gold onyx dial day date I think you'd love as a good watch edition for yourself.
