Montero is my 1st choice because of the brand, but sometimes when I drove my friend's Montero 2nd gen and 3rd gen, I'm not satisfied enough because it has lesser torque than what my family owned MU-X. But after watching this video, I'm completely overwhelm about the information you gave about the 4n1 engine. Thank you!!!

Ok ang review mo sir, nagkaroon din ako ng montero yung 2014 manual ang sarap iharurot mabilis talaga sya. designed sya as suv sport.

Downside of this unit: Full headlight assembly replacement when Daytime Running Light is busted. 1 headlamp costs 39k. But of course you will replace both. I asked them to just disconnect the DRL wiring, but they don't do that !

Your knowledgeable in engine good explanations. I’d consider the mitsu sport, one question where or what shop did you get the mag looks great and the price please. Ty

I was hoping you were going to compare the montero’s features with the other competing suv’s.

Maganda talaga ang montero sport or pajero sport sa australia. Pinili ko nmn ung top of the line exceed na pajero. Kasi proven the off-road dakar rally champion 18 times, which montero wala pa ito. Speed towing offroading tapos space mas maliit , mas maingay at matagdadag compared sa Pajero. Kung kapos me sa budget pwede ito. Pag sobrang may budget. Nissan patrol. Ganda review sir . Maganda emphasize din super select na 4wd nito. Walang wala yan sa ibang brands.

Agree ako dito, smooth talaga 4n15 engine, strada owner ako same engine with montero, kapatid ko naka navara VL and yung isang barkada ko nka hilux conquest 2.8 kaya nagkaroon ako ng chance na macompare cla, interms of engine refinement maganda talaga 4n15 tahimik at fuel efficient compare sa dalawa, interms of speed naman di rin nahuhuli mas malakas ang hatak kesa sa navara at hilux pero pag top speed na usapan mas malakas navara =) and the best pa is mas mura ang maintenance(filters, parts) kaya easier to maintain

I own a Toyota Hilux Revo 2018 na 4x4 and yes malakas po talaga ang Mitsubishi boss at parang hilux din yang strada napakatigas ng ilalim sobrang tibay at maaasahan lalo. Pero yung performance iba sa tulin ang mitsubishi lalo ang navarra napaka tulin talaga haha I personally drive na lahat yan kaya okay talaga mitsubishi I'm also happy na nag stand up na ang mitsubishi sa kalampagin at emission issue nila from the past.

@@mat.coccaceae Yes napakatibay ng pang ilalim ng strada. 135k odo na sakin wala pang kalampag , sa kapatid ko na navara unang bumigay is the rack end pinion bushing 20k odo pa lang, then sunod na bumigay is the ball joint at 65k odo and lastly is the front shock sa driver side at 80k plus odo. ang navara nya ngaun is 96k plus odo na pero ok pa naman makina walang problema, suspension lang talaga unlike my strada ngaun na kahit 135k odo wala pa akong napalitan sa suspenion kahit isa eh halos same terrain lang naman dinadaanan namin kasi we are on the same family company transport services. and sa sinasabi nyo pong emission yes di na pareha dati ang strada na mausok, actually mas mausok pa nga ang navara pag floor to floor apak mo sa accelerator compare sa strada na mivec

Montero parts are easy to het and in fact theres a lot of parts sellers outside the casa. Its one of the most reliable suv in the market because its easy to maintain and parts are abundant

ganda ng review sir. i have a 2015 strada AT. ganda ng takbo kahit sa NLEX . naka 70k na sa odometer. maganda pa yung suspension nya. walang issues maliban sa nag pa linis na ako ng egr nya nung 50k.

Fox racing suspension eh haha. The best sa long drive. Bilis ng hatak. Cons lang talaga is limited ang taong naisasakay mo, ang hirap matulog sa backseat at limited din ng up to 600kg ang cargo bed niya. Maganda rin yong storage space niya sa ilalim ng back seat.

Sir Levi pa shout out nman po..idol ko po Montero nyo, 2021 GLS po na black gamit ko nakuha ko nitong March lang gusto ko po gayahin set up nyo kaso walang budget hehe

Para saken naman po ay mas maganda at safe ang manual parking brake or handbrake dahil kaya mo xang I control kung gaano kalakas ang gusto mo gawen sa handbrake na cable type kesa push button , dahil ang push button Ay naka fix napo ang tight noong kapalit nya at for emergency ay need mopa tingnan ang push button unlike sa cable handbrake ay kona kapa lang , at sa timing chain naman po compare sa timing belt ay mas maingay po ng unti ang timming chain , kc po chain balak, unlike ng timming belt/ uN lang po maraming salamat po.

In my opinion, the montero sport is indeed the best suv you can get at the moment in the phillipines market. The design, features, specs, and reliability, mostly everything trump others in the competition.

@@gutadin5 I think Montero would be a better choice. Yes durability and reliability goes to Toyota, but Mitsubishi is not bad either. Also, Montero has more features and, based from reviews, Montero rides better. We have a fortuner and it is not bad, but if I were to buy an SUV Montero or Terra would be the one.

I am interested to watch about cars. The MonteroSport Interior is big while the Fortuner interior is little bit small. It has seven seats. I love to buy Montero sport. I am interested to have it for my family car. It's makes me really happy to have knowledge about cars!

Btw, In the Philippines, are there any regulations in regards to the tires protruding outside of the vehicles arches? I live in Australia and we have limitations enforced by local police :/ I'm looking at moving to the Philippines in the future, I'm very curious upon this subject :) Regards, Derek

The slight rubbing was controlled by heating the plastic underneath the fenders to push it back. There is no regulations in the Philippines regarding protruding tires.. in fact you can see a lot of modifications here.. as a sample look for “Autobot Autoworks Off-Road” facebook page as a sample of a shop here that do modifications

I know there's 265 available, I'm not sure about there possibly being a 275.. do you think the rubbing could be avoided with skinnier tires or was it unavoidable no matter what you chose? Yes almost all Mitsubishi cars today uses MIVEC technology although do some research because I'm not sure about the Xpander.
