Hair is gorgeous and you look so pretty. Very elegant and lovely silk press. You may want to wrap the hair at night and put a scarf on top of it.

I've found blow drying my hair every 2-3 weeks reduces fair knots, tangles and is helping me retain the length of my hair better than styling on my natural hair.

If I had as much as you I would silk press at least 3X and in between just wrap your hair with a scarf and to combat frizz is staying cool really lol.. the more presses the less frizz overtime and your stylist can use frizz free products during blow drying for it .. also after you shower stay from humidity by leaving bathroom door open and using a scarf, bonnet then shower cap. You look your pouring love into yourself and look beautiful!

Your hair is beautiful & you’re gorgeous!💜 I have fine hair too. I used to get a silky press 2-3 times a year up until 3 years ago. I had a lot of hair loss and damage due to illness and medications. I am coming up on a year now with locs that I absolutely love.🫶🏾 One tip I can give you for fine long hair is to try rolling your hair with hair rollers. Rollers add body and fullness to fine hair.💜💪🏾👑

Silk Press looks so beautiful and healthy, sis🔥😍 I give myself a DIY Silk Press once a year and haven't experienced any damage.🙌🏾 The key to minimizing heat damage is all about pre and post silk press care. Alway do a deep conditioning treatment prior to your silk press and follow up with a deep protein and moisturizing deep conditioner coming out of a silk press to deeply nourish and restore your hair after heat styling. For maintaining frizziness, use a few drops of chi silk infusion on the ends before you tie your hair up at night. My silk press usually last 3-4 weeks.💪🏾

I am almost 12 years natural. My hair is a little past my shoulders I have never gotten a silk press. I have flat ironed my hair at home a few times, but not often. The last time I flat ironed my hair was two years ago, and I recently blew, dried it out with a blow drying brush, which gave it a somewhat much straighter look, and that was my first time doing that also in two years.

For the frizz, you can try putting a little bit of mousse on your hair and then wrapping it. I would just suggest you research different products so that it doesn’t dry your hair out with the alcohol content.

My hair is fine and it tangles. Fine hair tangles. I use mielle rosemary oil on the ends to control tangles. Oil helps my hair when it gets tangle. My hair is long also. Hope this was helpful. Oo also, I think that the clothes we wear have something to do with fine hair being tangled. Because the hair hangs down on our clothes.

I told you on IG, but I'll say it here too! You have been my one and only hair crush since before I did my big chop in 2015. I watched you for almost 2years before I got the courage to do it! And I have followed your regimen. I don't comb. I use no heat. I don't do braids. I have only had it straighten once for a trim. To see you now ready to venture into new territory gives me the courage to do so also! There is no one else that has maintained such beautiful natural hair than you, Queen! You did that and that silk press is fire on you!!!! 🤎🤎🤎🤎

I don’t think it’s fading away per se. I think that we’re finally embracing its full versatility and that we’ve finally “cracked” the code on how to care for our hair, whether in its kinky/curly/coily state and or in its straight state. We can choose to have the best of both worlds, while looking however we want to, for any given timeframe 💜💓.

@@gratefullandblessed0135 it will always be people with natural hair. The year i was born there was a serious natural hair fad. I am so happy i had enough time to learn in 2013 that my hair hates sulfates it literally changed the relationship i had with my hair. I never knew i had 4a curls. Imagine my surprise. I wish i could show my grandma cause we had a time. As a kid, trying to moisturize my protein sensitive hair with the products that were available. 🥺 I had the thickest dooby wrap by the best hairdresser in the 90s too tho 😉. Nothing like a fresh wrap when you take it down lol. But i am team curls 4ever. Now, it is nothing like a clean, deeply moisturized, curly defined puff like i had in my baby pictures.
