omg your christmas photo with Genesis is so gorgeous. Personally i think you have the perfect set up a daughter and no man to give you guys a headache. I may not be a mom but I was a daughter and i used to be jealous of single moms because my dad wasn't the best. I know its hard but i often think having a man attached in some cases would make it harder. You probably needed a break which is why you didn't do as much last year. Don't beat yourself up you are doing amazing for yourself and your hair is thriving!

Aren’t you supposed to detangle from the ends and work your way towards the scalp, not the other way around? That’s why I don’t let anyone in my hair. 🙁

Look that blow-dry look would have been it for me. Your shrinkage is crazy. This is almost 6 to 7 inches of hair we normally do not see.

Thank you for sharing your story it's inspiring me to be strong for my kids. When I served my husband divorce papers he decided to end the rent and locked me out of the house with two kids. I was stranded in the street of Hong Kong devastated don't know what to do I just got the shelter to help me stay there once I'm figuring out things. Auntie here. My hair looks just like yours. However I definitely cannot braid my own hair. When I try and do my halo it just starts poofing up in the back. Back when I was your age it looked much better. Oh well going to try it again.

Thank you for this video because I shaved my hair in August 2020 when I was 17, almost 3 months till my 18th birthday. I shaved my hair because my mother made me perm it my entire life and at that point my hair was damaged beyond repair so I had no choice but to cut it all off. It hurt to comb and brush my hair and it was constantly falling out. I was bald all throughout 2021 and I loved it because honestly I looked good with a shaved head. For my new years resolution for 2022 I wanted to grow my hair again. Thanks to your video I was able to do it, I wish I can post a picture on a KZread comment because I took a picture at the end of every month to see my progress. I put my hair in dreads by July 2023 and it has helped my hair grow 2x more. It’s is May 2024 as I am typing this comment❤I learn to love my hair and my hair loves me❤
