Chase is good. Curve was unique when they first launched and had some real benefits for no cost to the user. Unfortunately the benefits have been reduced over time to the point where it’s no longer any benefit and there are many competitors out there with a better and more crucially reliable product with better customer service. Vote with your wallet and switch is my recommendation.
I bought a phone last week for £324. It charged me THREE TIMES! I asked curve to sort it out and they are looking into it. But that aside they are now charging £180 for metal. I no longer see any benefit in it.

Get on to their Facebook and twitter page and DM them. Also make some public twitter posts about your issue tagging them. It’s the only way to get their attention.

@@TheTravelTipsGuy happened again just now. But the opposite. Attempted several times to buy a washing machine. In the end I used the underlying lloyd's card and it worked fine. Something deffo wrong with curve and purchases over £100. I noticed they aren't posting on X anymore. I don't use FB.

@@sidkings Cut your losses and don't use them anymore. If you're still owed money and curve don't respond, speak to your bank and tell them to reverse the charge. Also contact curve on their X page. In the video I went over a few alternatives which I would recommend getting once you've stopped using curve.

@@TheTravelTipsGuy The thing is I paid for metal subscription up front last year. It's meant to renew in june. I sent them a complaint just now a dropped a message on their x page. I have a feeling all is not well behind the scenes and they not being upfront with users. I've become so dependant on curve for go back in time, curve fronted etc. It's going to be difficult to readjust to normal cards. Got plenty of no fx cards so I should be OK IA. Algbra, Chase, Revolut, Halifax Clarify, Nationwide member card, Barclays reward, Monzo, Starling.

Looks good. Time will tell how their customer service holds up but on the face of it, they seem like a direct competitor to curve. In fact their elite paid for versions seem tempting since they give several hotel benefits like free breakfast and room upgrades which can more than pay for itself if it works. Also they do a free night when booking a 4 night stay.

Really? First I’ve heard of it. Good thing I called it quits with them when I did. Another commenter mentioned an alternative called Currensea which seems to be good on the face of it.

I'm based in the USA. The beta for Curve roll out didn't do too well. It's a shame really, I liked the back in time feature. Helped with rotating categories that were a few weeks ahead. So I could use the card and go back in time just in time for those categories to kick in on those months. Hoping for an alternative.

It started off with 1% cash back in crypto using the curve card along with the normal multipliers with the card it was linked to. Turning a 2% cash back card into a 3% cash back card. They then eliminated the cash back to only 1% when using Curve credit. Which was basically useless. It really was the "back in time" feature I took the most advantage of. All this was with no monthly fee.
