This was a great talk. I hear a lot of couples say things like wanting to wait to travel with the little ones when they remember. One of my earliest memories is of when my dad took three year old me to an old school yard and he pushed me on the swing. I remember being scared of an old metalic yellow seesaw because it looked too big. I thought I made that memory up until my aunt uncovered that memory in an old photo where he was carrying me on his shoulders and the seesaw was in the background. The old playground was one he used to play on back in Mexico. My parents couldn't believe I actually remembered that first trip my dad and I took over there. My dad has good memories, of course some are ones I don't recall but I also have a recollection of things I remember happened on that trip. His daughter might not remember every single thing that happened on her climb to Everest but she will remember that it was time well spent with her family.
