My first bike was a triumph street triple rs. 765cc. It was ridiculous fun, ridiculous fast, and i wrestled with getting a 600 too, but i didnt like the idea of buying a used bike only to upgrade to another bike then another bike and another bike before i get to what to i wanted. I just went and got what i wanted. I drive trucks for a living so im already super conscious of safe driving and the vast stupidity of people on the highway so i took my time. I spent a week in my driveway, a week on a back street, then a few weeks on back and side streets around town before i even tried to get on the highway. People overlook the triumph bikes way to often. My next bike will be the bmw s1000xr.

I picked up the 2021 Ninja650 last year-I think it's a virtually perfect bike-quick acceleration to legal speed,super stable on the highway,low insurance rates too compared to the 'supersports'.

Man i was kinda just vibing out to the ride then you hit me with the whiskey Myers. Started singing along and hearing that harmonica haunt my mind. That got you a sub right there brother. Would love to see you on the road one day. I'm looking to sell my shadow 750 this spring and this is what I'm thinking about getting. I'm new to sport bikes so the 650 makes the most sense as a dad who likes to get rowdy and stupid myself

Lol wise choice. My old roommate bought a Honda repsol 250 when it came out and seeing how small and slow that thing was and how it sounded was quite laughable. Within a couple months even him being a new rider he wanted something bigger. Never ended up getting another bike just sold it.

So far, the 650 is amazing. It always puts a smile on my face and I’d recommend it to anyone honestly. And yeah unfortunately it’s a stock exhaust, but I’m ordering a Hindle Evo exhaust here soon. I was originally going to get the akrapovic but I refuse to drop $1k on that 🤣 the akrapovic sounds amazing though

Might be even hotter in the helmet but I've heard from other riders that if you wear a balaclava, it keeps your helmet cleaner

i was recommended a 650 over a 400 due to me weighing 250. thats the one thing no one talks about in all these get a 400 for first bike videos. they talk about height but never the riders weight and how that can mess with performance. could i ride a 400, of course, but it takes more to get to speed to safely pass on the highway due to weight on the bike.

Absolutely. I’m 5’9 and 225 pounds and I admit, i probably should have started on a 400, but my stubbornness is what got me this bike to be my first. I have no regrets tho

Just a cheap $20 one I got from my Local Walmart. I wouldn’t recommend it though, it comes loose constantly and I always gotta retighten it after every ride. First one I got broke completely after about 2 months

If you’d actually watch my videos, I’ve explained a few times about not having any gear. Gears not cheap. Once the holidays are around, I’ll be working OT and will have the money for it next year. My daughter comes first before anything. Cheers mate
