GVWR is Gross vehicle weight rating (total weight with passengers and cargo) GVW is Gross vehicle weight (what it actually weighs, seems to never be on a door tag) A lot of people do not know this!!! Best way to find out what it weighs is Curb weight. And that goes for any car, truck, atv. And I'm saying this to let ya know, not to be a know it all. Cant type or spell to save my life. Just a mechanic.

Hey jai, very off topic and a total plug for a Canadian independent EDC knife maker. Check out the Hydra knife. It's a box cutter razor blade folder. I have the old rendition, there is an updated 2.0 model with a 3d printed frame, carbon fiber support, and ultum(I can't spell) inlays. I know you dig the finer things and I saw you had your own line of EDC razor folder/otf knives. It's super light and surprisingly reliable. Don't know why I'm plugging this but I've been rocking it daily for over a year and it's awesome. And I use my knife! I work as an appliance and furniture delivery driver so I'm opening hard core fridge boxes and whatnot daily! The knife is sort of a karambit style when folded out and has magnetic closing. Great to fidget with and great looking. Support those innovators. If only your knife would be legal in Canada(I think yours is automatic). Stupid Canada and it's commy safety bs! Cheers man! Killer whip!

But for the 10 mile radius I drive, who needs a car? I can rent one for long trips. Only thing I need to do is strap my cat carrier in the passenger seat and not flip us over when we go in for an annual visit. I think I’m sold! 😂✨🤸‍♀️

if you ask a cop that knows the law, a motorycle or AUTOcycle cannot have more than 3 wheels. Adding a 4th wheel, makes it a car. Ask a manager at a DMV. The sole reason the slingshot has 3 wheels and not 4 is to work around the loop holes of the car law. And then people want to put their own spin on it.

This gonna be a bit long but check it out. Friends of the family, older than me and I’m 52, had a Harley right, short of the long they got caught under a semi, bike accident. Not his fault, he’s riding, wife on back and the unthinkable happens. By the Grace of God they live to tell the tale. Naturally after a couple years he gets the itch. So buys one of these. They giving up two wheels for sure, the accident messed them up. Owns it I guess a year or two and finally asked him for a ride. He took me for a ride alright. For the life of me don’t know how the hell that rear tire held the twisties but it did. Scared the living sh*t out of me. Now, I been riding for over 30 years. Started on sports bikes and graduated to Harleys. I love my Harley. Owned it for 20 years this year. So that’s the story. Now the questions- can you throw a turbo on this thing, I’m sure you can. Can a wider rear tire be got for this? Like a kit or something? I’m getting the itch man. Guy died in my arms two summers ago on the highway and have had more close calls than I like to count. People are getting dumber out there on the roads. At least this can be seen better than a white and chrome Harley. Oh, and exhaust. Man, I have to hear it to feel it. You know what I mean. I need the sound to go with the looks. I’ve just seen this vid browsing. Maybe you have other vids about it, I’ll check. But hit me up. And 125mph is fast enough for me. I been on sports bikes, done that. Only place to be doing 125mph is at the track. You may ask why a turbo then? Just want to get to 90mph faster is all. Thus the wider tire question.

Very cool ride and funny review, love it. When people say it weighs 1700 lbs, they mean the wet weight of just the vehicle. And the 2200 is the maximum weight rating with passenger/luggage. Not sure if it was sarcasm, I'm not tryna be a smartass lol

Bought one about a month ago. I could sell a ton of these if i was a salesman. Especially with the women. You don't need a motorcycle liscense and you dont have to back up with your feet like a bike. There is a reverse in these. Also you dont have to look for a good place to put a kickstand so it won't tip over. This is almost like driving our Mercedes slk convertible but has no top or ac or heater. We have to show off with it by parking right in front wherever you are going. In the last month if i was a salesman i know i could sell these. The place to cater with are older people because they usually have just the 2 of them driving and no kids. It would be even more of a sale down south in the sun country where they are snowbirds. Dont like doing burnouts though. Id like my tires to last. They are fun and that is why we bought one.

As a previous SLR owner, I highly recommend buying one closer to stock than fully modified. I’ve had my brakes fall off down a highway doing 70. Also, build quality feels cheap as it’s sooo plasticly

GVRW is gross. That’s how much weight, in addition to the vehicle, it can weigh. So 1650, plus 550lbs passengers and gear, is your GVRW of 2199 or whatever you said.
