In my latest book - Jack the Ripper and Abraham Lincoln (published by Troubador) - I argue that the most notorious serial killer of all time, Jack the Ripper, was a gay man called Francis Tumblety. The evidence is put before you in the book. I'm an LGBT historian who appears regularly on TV and grew up in east London so have a long interest in this subject. But certain hetero historians - as I call them - are very upset about my book. In this short film, I answer their objections and invite you to join the debate.
