Why I am NOT suing Joel Osteen - Final update on my copyright strike and a personal message to Joel.

I plan to post a very edited version of the Joel Osteen review video in about 3 months. It will only use a small portion of his original video and it will be uploaded after my copyright strike has faded off my record with KZread. The edited down version will just consist of every time that Joel quoted the Bible. Unfortunately, he distorted the meaning of the Bible every time, except once, in the "Let it Go" sermon.

Not mature, cowardly and immoral. You praising him makes the entire Boby of Christ look insipid and Christ like an effeminate wretch, frankly. To let this stand is immoral and wrong. Winger is fearful, not humble, and just came up with a nice patina of "turn the other cheek", because he can't stand when the going gets tough. People like this will renouce Christ if persecuted (not saying Winger will)

I love that you have honoured Joel Osteen as a brother-in-Christ in so many ways, both, acknowledging that, well, basically he is not heretical, yet lovingly addressing what you have as Scripture has us do. I love your genuine love & care for him in the way you presented the personal message. It has grieved me that, in trying to get "truth to light", as followers of Christ, many of us have failed to love well, & you have just demonstrated that. Just as the Bible specifically exhorts us to speak the truth in love, in drawing a fellow believer to error, it also points out that we watch we don't fall into sin either; after all, our true enemy is not each other, & often, we forget that & fall into the devil's trap of division he has subtly set up for us, in not loving as Christ does & would have us. I often think about the scripture too that speaks about putting things right on the way to court (sorry not quoting it well but it's the same one that reminds us that we are not to judge one another ... 1 Corinthians 6.1-11? ... ) Anyway, all this to say, thank you, for continuing to be scriptural in every area while also "being real" & compassionate. This has been such a blessing to listen to. I haven't "checked in on" your videos for awhile now for pure personal reasons related to where my own spiritual journey has been & I so thank God that I have picked this up tonight as I have often wondered about the balance of ministries similar to this.

Oh cool 😎. I wholeheartedly agree with his decision and support it. Well we are in The Last Days before Christ's Return so I'm not surprised we live in a feelings over facts culture. Joel doesn't care about anyone's souls and spirits if he did he'd actually learn God's Word for his congregation and live accordingly. Exactly they're charlatans and wolves in sheep's clothing who love money not quality Christ centered and Scripturally accurate content for people's souls and spirits. AMEN brother Mike Winger I really appreciate the humility he's shown in this situation by not giving into offense unlike Joel Osteen's business money loving so called ministry. Keep uploading these videos dude this channel does great Christ centered and Scripturally accurate content 🙏❤️. This has nothing and everything to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college student. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of but not macro or micro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant.

Even Jesus said the man healing in my name who is not against you is to be considered for you. That is partly why Peter called Paul a brother, while never acknowledging as an apostle. Paul had a parallel minstry, even his own apostles & disciples. Peter warned in the same passage that theologians would further twist Paul's confusing words into false doctrines & thus lead many off into destruction, something that even Jesus warned about. If someone is healing & using Jesus' name, do not judge the healer, but discern whether the fruits are good. Someone may come out of darkness due to Olsteen's sermons, but once partially out darkness, that person may be able to find the narrow path truly leading to Christ at the gate. Imperfect, even off the path people may redirect the Chosen toward the Kingdom.

@@BitsyBee What authority to correct? God tells us to reason together, correct, even rebuke when needed. And He tells us to welcome right Godly rebuke. John 7:24 Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment. Galatians 6:1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. The Bible’s command that we not judge others does not mean we cannot show discernment. Immediately after Jesus says, “Do not judge,” He says, “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs” (Matthew 7:6). A little later in the same sermon, He says, “Watch out for false prophets. . . . By their fruit you will recognize them” (verses 15-16). How are we to discern who are the “dogs” and “pigs” and “false prophets” unless we have the ability to make a judgment call on doctrines and deeds? Jesus is giving us permission to tell right from wrong. Jesus gives a direct command to judge: “Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly” (John 7:24). Here we have a clue as to the right type of judgment versus the wrong type.

Something I don't understand is so many other Christian teachers and pastors have outright called Olsteen a false teacher, but you don't hear about them being sued, or the threat thereof, by Olsteen. Even though he may admit to the Truths of the Gospel, he doesn't preach it. He preaches a false gospel for selfish gain. The fact that he would come after another true believer, what does that say about him? It's certainly not a godly approach.

Joel seems to not want to confront others with the truth, because he’s too busy running away from confronting the truth for himself and looking in the mirror. It’s easier for him to live the way he does if he ignores the uncomfortable things that the Bible calls us to be as Christians, and just focus on the “positive” things that don’t threaten his life/lifestyle. None of us Christians are perfect, which is why it is so important to actively seek to make ourselves uncomfortable by confronting the outline of the person God calls us to be, as described in the Bible, so that we can be seeking forgiveness and checking our heart to ensure we are not going astray. Not only does Joel not teach this, it’s also quite obvious that he doesn’t do this with himself. What Mike says to Joel in his videos is the truth the Joel needs to hear, but it’s also the truth that Joel is running from. Mike delivers that uncomfortable confronting truth in a loving brotherly way, and I think because of that, it makes it even harder for Joel to brush off. Yet because of that, it also makes him want to reject it even more, and makes him fearful of his empire crumbling. I think that might be why he Joel has a stronger reaction to Mike. Mike is a threat to him. Not because Mike is threatening, or behaving in a threatening manner, but because the truth hurts, especially when it’s being delivered in a way that is Christlike, and especially when Joel is living in such drastic contrast to God’s own word and commandments. It’s easier to shut it down than confront it. It’s easier to live his lifestyle and preach his diluted teachings that lead people astray, than face the reality of what he has done and what he is continuing to do. He has chosen money and fame over THE Truth. He has turned God into a convenience that can be monetized. Wealth and fame/power are hard to walk away from. They have a very strong hold, which is why the Bible warns of them specifically. When something has that strong of a hold on you, any genuine threat to that receives an automatic shut down. Mike is that genuine threat (in the best way possible) because of his delivery. There is no malice or ill will in Mike’s pleas, nor any ulterior motives; there is grace, love and humility which makes it more confronting. Joel knows this, he feels this, and rather than actually confront the man he sees on the mirror and confront his wrongdoing, his automatic response is rejecting it. I truly pray that Joel isn’t too far gone, and that someday he will repent for what he has done and will preach the gospel in its entirety. Not to make millions, not to make false self righteous proclamations, not to make people feel self-satisfyingly “good,” but to actually SAVE souls and ensure they understand what God truly expects of them, and call people to worship to SERVE the LORD rather than themselves. If there is any hope to be had, Mike certainly is the kind of vessel that has the possibility of breaking through, if only Joel would use his ears to hear and eyes to see it.

Mike, I just wanted to say thank you for being a Godly example/ influence in so many peoples lives. I was so mad when you first said that you weren't going to pursue this, but you really are living your life according to the Lord's will, and not yours. You are a true man of God and I needed to see this, because I know I would have handled this situation so wrongly. I know people are going to disagree with you about this, but if they look at it through a Christian mindset, then they will see that you are doing it exactly the way a Christian is supposed to. Just because Joel and his employees aren't handling the situation the way they are supposed to, doesn't mean that you can't. I'll be praying for you and this situation buddy!

He’s a false teacher, preacher, and professor of faith. His “faith” is in his bank account. “The love of money is the root of all evil”. Joel willfully deceived people just like Satan does: taking the Word of God and twisting it for personal gain. This is shameful and SHOULD be called out by the Church. “All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for correcting, teaching, rebuking in the training of righteousness.” I’m proud of you, Pastor Mike. You are being a watchmen on the wall! God bless you!
