To be fair, our best innovation in war was the TASP, a 'weapon' that made you to happy to fight...and addicted you to it, but hey, quibbles. We are the descendants of the Pak after all. Our progenitors used STARS as building blocks in their designs. So they thought small compared to us.

oh my god, the humans became soycreatures now, even I became furious.
"Humans avoid war because it would be too easy for them to win". That is not a very original trope IMHO. I prefer this one: Humans avoid war because there are then inevitably a few unorganized humans citizens taking the side of those being utterly destroyed by the human military, and while these citizens are nowhere near the human military in weapon capabilities, they still have access to black hole bombs, metadimensional missiles, and FTL planetary slingshots. So, in most cases except maybe against the most unreasonable, most evil, and most destructive of enemies, for humans the act of going to war just isn't economically and politically worth it. It's not the enemy's counters and reactions that would be damaging to the human race, far from it, but that of what a microscopic minority of their own citizens would do just to protest the war.
