T-Zay They aren’t loyal. CAT brain scans and intensive research proves that. A lot of people can also test your claim that they are peaceful. They are in no way protective. Their biology and ancestry plays a major role. Most cats excluding lions hunt on their own. They even hunt each other. Cats are not naturally inclined to protect humans because it is not an instinctive trait of them.

Merkel's Fourth Reich Eeeeh depends on the cat. I’m constantly amazed my one cat is as loyal as he is. He actually comes to me for help when sick. O_o which is bizarre but he’s also the second cat to do this. New cats are still in the juvenile stage, but are a mix of a classically dog like breed, so they might be more loyal.

Honestly not a second even when I sat out in the rain snow and cold just to spend more time with them

They're basically wild animals and yet they seem precision designed to be a perfect companion for a modern human. They're small, not stinky, naturally inclined to use litter boxes instead of the floor, able to show affection, trigger a human's "protect baby" instincts with their meows and huge eyes.

They really have huge eyes!! I never realized how big they are in proportion to their heads, until I had my own (black) cat for a while. Then I saw a picture of a black panther and honestly it looks almost creepy, how tiny and dark the eyes are, now that I'm so used to my cats eyes. It's so weird

I wasnt so much a cat person. I was a dog person, but didnt think much for cats, didnt even think much of them. After a life crippling depression, I was left with my daughters cat. She was his life and when she moved out, I wasnt just as great company. But then he loved me back to getting out of bed. After that, I got to understand the way he communicates so much better. Now cats are a source of love and joy. 🥰🥰🥰

When the lady said "how susceptible we are to a cat's meow", she smiled wide because she was thinking about her cat meowing. Honestly its like my chips drop and i am instantly disarmed when i hear a cat meowing. A cat could murder the whole world and meow at me and i will forgive and forget. So blessed to be tamed by these cutie pies.

Before i had cats, i was basically a low life miserable 8-5 worker straight out of high school. Then I adopted 2 twin sister kittens and they changed my life. One didn’t make it to 1 year (im so sorry my baby) so then I adopted 2 more. We now have 3 and I’m so happy everytime I see them ☺️

I've been going through hard times in life and the main thing that kept me going was my cats. I felt I needed to get better cause they depend on me and I couldn't let them down. That gave the strength to keep going day by day. Now I'm much better I can tell they have been my major pilar to get here.

Don't force affection and you won't get rejected.Learn to respect their space and win their trust slowly. It applies both to humans and cats.

All my life I have considered myself a “dog person”. All the time my kids were growing up they had a cat or two, but they were the kids pets, I just provided the food. Four months ago I got the surprise of my life. I totally fell for a cat. A kitten, actually, a lovely little calico with the loudest purr and the adorable habit of sucking her left front paw...but only when she is lying on my chest while we both fall asleep. I’ve turned into a cat lady.

When we had our seal-point Siamese, Tiki (2002-2020), I actually felt I was in the presence of an intelligent being. She'd look me right in the eye and impart her wisdom in no uncertain terms. I miss her. 🥺❤️🐈‍⬛

That's the ONE behavior I love about cats: their extreme cleanliness, if cats were zodiac signs, they would definitely be Virgos: always grooming themselves/ hard workers: cats are always making biscuits 😂

I think she’s kind of putting all cat owners in a box. My cat and I have a very close bond built on mutual respect. I don’t just think of him as cute and meme-worthy. He’s a complex, intelligent, powerful, independent being. AND he’s my super special cuddly cutie pie baby-waby yes he is. Yesheis!

I had a cat that would mimic the sounds of birds she would stalk. It was amazing. And it was undeniable that that's what she was doing. The birds would tweet and chatter and in "response" she would meow as closely as she could, she was copying them. It was really amazing, she was super intelligent, I think.

They’re lil tigers. All with their own crazy personality.

This is purrrrrfect 😹😻 I was _never_ a cat person... until my first fur baby. And well. Look at me meow.

JAMES KRAMER Yesterday, while saying my morning prayer before I got out of bed, one of my cats jumped on my chest. At that same time bad thoughts started seeping in to my head. I rebuked saten in the name of Jesus. My cat bolted out of the room at the same time. After some investigating, I've determined it was just a co-,incidence and laughed it off. It did scare me a little at first though.

I LOVE CATS. always have, as Leonardo saving I once said, " cats are perfection, the perfect animal in nature ". Da Vinci owned cats. I have never been without a cat (cats). In fact I "feel" feline. I could not live w/ out cats in my life. I even covet everybody else's cats as well. Yes, I am obsessed and there's no apology there. I feed strays and find homes for them. I am a "cat" person. I love all animals, but the cat is always number one. Little cats to big cats , lions, tigers, the whole species of cats. Cats make life easier, cat people are happier than non cat owners. Lions are my cup of tea, could cuddle w/ them all day long. However, that just isn't possible so I own rescued domestics. Cats are everything a human could ask for.😻😻😺😺😺😺😸😸. I owned dogs in the past and I loved every one of them, but dogs are different, they have to be walked. Cats are self sufficient, they walk themselves, and yes, they come when they're called (sometimes)... Animals are precious, innocent and deserving of compassion, they give us a hundred fold in return.

They're just so adorable and cuddly.

How can someone not be obsessed with those furry little cuties. I can't resist petting them.

I taught my second kitty how to meow. He would open his mouth and it seemed just like a meow but no sound would come out so I started squeaking at him and he started squeaking back and never stopped. Miss that baby! Miss both of my hyper-carnivore babies. 🐈

Cats are great. They sense our emotions and try to help. We feed them they love us.

I didn't think I was obsessed until I realised I'd already seen every youtube cat featured in this video

What I love about the cats I've had in my lifetime is that they both love you and knock you down. They love you and cuddle with you and let you pet them and they're grateful for the things you do for them like feed them. But every now and then they do something to remind you that you're not the hot stuff you might think you are, because as much as they love you, you can't tell them to do anything. They'll ignore you, bite you, leave messes everywhere, smack you, and leave dead "gifts". They're a perfect beautiful and hilarious mix of love and indifference. I do see divinity in them.

emiliebova omg same I used to love dogs until I moved to a house where a bunch of stray cats visited me every morning to have some food , I started to love them , now is not only them visiting me in the morning , now they spend the whole time here . They’re amazing .

Alot of cruelty happens to cats due to stigma. I think this video also plays on the stigma of mental health (schizophrenia) without really underlining the highly researched mental health benefit that cats give as companions to the elderly in nursing homes, etc, single people etc.

This is the same thing with me! Can't do human babies, but if their is a cat in the room, get out the way, maternal instincts kick in instantly.

They're cute, smart very funny and can be downright weird! We have 2 in a small apartment. I can't wait to get a bigger place so I can get one more! Love them!

The sad thing is that most humans do not know how to love animals by what they are trying to humanize them. Cats are amazing just being cats as any other species is also incredible by its own way. I wish someday most people who have cats will know how to take care of them properly and to respect them since that is not what happens today

I couldn’t agree more. I love animals; people confuse loving animals with treating them like children. I don’t like that people take them on planes or to the mall or such stressful environments, or dress them like babies or declaw them, etc etc.

I never liked cats before I took a homeless tortie. I was working hard to get rid of her by contacting fostercare and put a note where I find her. I didnt gave her much attention accept washing her and give her food and water to survive. Then suddenly she came to me and showed her diastema while calling at me and she even came and hug my leg while I was on the phone. She showed me so much love and appriciate and made me fall in love with her. She even comunicated and understand me, she was so loyal. My father gave her name Sandy. The vet found out that she was 15years old and decided to let her sleep. I will never get over her my tortie queen. 🙏

Cats are generally not vocal animals. They communicate with each other using body language. However, since humans communicate vocally, then cats usually communicate vocally with us.

Everyone should have at least one cat. Maybe two or three.

My cat is obsessed with me. She was abandoned and homeless when I took her in 8 years ago. She follows me everywhere and watches me nonstop. It's sweet but also a little creepy when I wake up and she's staring at me. Hopefully, she doesn't mean me any harm. lol

I think she's afraid she will be abandoned again. She was completely wild when I first saw her. It took almost a month before she would come near me so I put out food every day and hid behind a bush to make sure she ate it. One day I came out while she was eating and she didn't run away. She still had a raggedy old collar that was 2 sizes too small around her neck. She allowed me to remove it and pet her head. After that we were inseparable. She moved right in. :-)

My savannah, serval x Siamese F6, is the most well-behaved gentle cat I have ever had. He never struggles at the vets even when the vet was probing his paw for a wasp sting. He even loves to play with kids and will sit with toddlers while they play. It is amazing that he is related to a wild animal

Cause they are adorable, smart and manipulative

I love alll animals. My early years were spent with wonderful dogs. One day we rescued a cat and that was that, we've had cats as part of the family ever since. They're perfect. They're incredibly beautiful creatures. For me it's like having my childhood toy teddy bears come to life: as unique amazing beings with a huge capacity to love.

I was NEVER a cat person but after the death of 2 beloved dogs I decided to get cats. I thought I would not be as devastated when their time to come. Wrong. They are officially my babies. One snuggles with me evertime I sit down. He is a huge fluffball and the sweetest guy ever. Never once scratched, hissed, bit. The other little guy follows me everywhere. He is my shadow and best friend. First cats ever and I will just die inside when their time is up.

It's funny, while my heart completely melts anytime a kitten meows near me, I have the exact opposite reaction when a human baby starts crying.

If anything, adopt dont shop. Also dont forget to spay and neuter em, support local TNR initiatives, if any

whatsopanime Hello :), yes i am aware that some people will feel that way. May i know why you think that way? Personally i have seen people arguing against it due to pity (eg. Every cats deserve to breed), ethical (eg. It is unnatural, i pity em), excessive love or fear (eg. Then they will extinct). I love cats, my house take care of 28 unwanted cats, till now only 11 are adopted which leaves 17 for my family to care. We're not shelter but we cant left them to die In my experience, the outside world is very harsh, i have seen cats being killed (maliciously or whimsically), tortured to death, involved in accident then left to death, prematurely thrown away and malnourished to death (especially kitten), roadkilled, honestly imo being preyed upon by wild dogs or eagles is a better option. As much as good-intentional people try, in my opinion we can't save all of them especially if their population is out of control. Let alone area where cats become pest, or alien hazard for indigenous species (eg. New Zealand and Australia, land of the flightless bird). If you have an idea on how to make better welfare to all kitties in the world, please do share it with us, for now i am advocating on population control, adoption, and humane treatment for all :)

Self righteous idiots like you telling people when, where, and how to open their homes to pets is the cause of mass genocide of many species. If overpopulation and euthanasia bother you, it's spay and neuter of ferals you need to worry about- not where I get my cat...
