After having heat exhaustion last July due to heat intolerance I used air conditioning in my car the whole winter. It's crazy but it was the only way to stay cool after completing jobs. When doing strenuous work I would get extremely hot and my body couldn't cool itself down for whatever reason. Now I'm here in the my house waiting for winter to come around again so I can live a little. Sorry your going through this...

Since childhood when I was super healthy, I’ve never tolerated high temps; I’m still healthy, but anything over 80F and I become fatigued trying to do physical things like hiking or golf. I take extra salt, but still get red as I get tired.

Hi Dean, it is interesting how our bodies are all different and have different tolerance levels. If you do try increasing your Celtic sea salt intake, you'll have to check back in with us and let us know if you've found it to be helpful. I know it makes such a positive difference for Dr. Neville's patients.🙂 Take care, Suzanne

I definitely feel the effects of heat. Symptoms get worse: fatigue, pain, headaches, pressure in my body. There is a week of really hot weather on the forecast so I wanted to prepare for how to handle that. Salt always helps to eleviate the symptoms a bit. As a highly sensitive person I also try to avoid the bright lights and to wear a scarf or a hat. Just do whatever I can to make the heat bearable so that also my adrenals can rest. This video was helpful. ☺️

YES, HEAT 🔥 intolerance! Extreme fatigue, weakness & sweating! I have hypertension & am concerned about too much salt. I do drink lots of water & low glucose electrolytes " Body Armor Lite". I stay out of the hot weather (as much as possible, living in FL) & no more hot showers. My A/C electric bill is very high. My work environment (office nurse) is usually cool! When I do have salt I use pink Himalayan. Thank you for sharing your information!

Hi Maggie, celtic sea salt isn't typically a problem in our patients with hypertension, it is more the processed table salt that is an issue. It's still good to be cautious as you're introducing new things. I feel like a prisoner in my house because everybody thinks I'm crazy. I have adrenal insuffiency I been on prednisone over 2 yrs & there is no dr or Endocrine Dr around Gadsden, AL that ever said heat or cold was related to my AI. I have to do most things at night. There's something's you just can't do at night. I hate this stuff and nobody understands it. I have just about stopped all my dr visits and just get my medication called in. I'm going thru joint issues now and it's affected my mood. I can't do things I want to do or need to because of this condition. Glad to see something that links heat/cold to adrenals. Thank you

Can you heal after being on prednisone for this long? I have no stress response I have such fatigue and side effects from just the medicine. It's summer time and I have to do most everything at night. I know if I start getting infection because I fall asleep any moment I sit down. I can't do anything I use to do and I had to get my granny to come live with me. She is 75 it's like blind leading blind. I take supplements that are proven to help avoid things that are proven to make worst but my life has become so unfunctional due to this and I can't imagine being on this to live rest of my life. I have been very fortunate to avoid crisis because I have seen the symtoms b4 they got to critical but needless to say if I was in accident etc I could not do anything about it. I take therapy to help with my emotions but I just can't seem to function. My granny is chosen my parents are not alive others live far away. There is no dr here I go to uab in Birmingham AL but getting appts are so hard my last appt was changed 3x im waiting again till 6/17 for just a tele health. I think I have gone to another level or im needing something my blood pressure stays too low and I take 10 mg pred a day

This is interesting. I do quite a bit better with heat it seems than cold. I do eat Celtic salt when I season food or put a tiny bit in my drinking water and I have also done electrolyte supplements and also take a really good supplement that way. I do sometimes have a hard time sleeping at night in a hot room and I sometimes don’t sleep for other reasons which is one of the reasons I suspect adrenal fatigue plus I tend to get anxious or stressed out about things more than it seems I should. The weird thing when I’m hot at night though, I often have a hard time just throwing off the blankets for very long before I want them back again. A hot car is harder for me too sometimes. Occasional heat will just get to me and very occasionally I’ll feel very sleepy in bright sunlight and sensitive to it. I am more sensitive to being cold most of the time and I will layer like crazy sometimes and I don’t like to go anywhere in the evening during these warmer months w/o a sweater or something to throw on in case I start to get chilly.

You definitely described my symptoms, I think I burnt my adrenals out for a variety of reasons. I experienced a lot of trauma as a child and then I was forced to get out on my own as a teenager so that was extra stress and then I got addicted to coffee and I think that was the last straw. Every supplement I take gives me brain fog, it seems like nothing works.

The weird thing, though, is that my regular body temperature is ALWAYS low 96° no higher than 97° And I never run a fever, not even when I had covid. Shouldn't I run cool and not hot? TIA
