Goodness even bringing Hanbury into the mess. Sometimes I can see why Meghan left. I’m not a fan at all of them but I see how a life can be ruined. So Catherine had surgery and didn’t want to tell the world about why. It could’ve been very personal as we women get problems after a certain age and having babies. It’s her right to have privacy as far as I’m concerned yet since the day she walked in the hospital the crazy conspiracy theories have been spreading all around. I was watching a clip where they say her face what photoshopped from another person’s photo who resembles her and when they zoomed in on the other person’s photo, it did not look like Catherine. Somebody started all this conspiracy theory and it has snowballed into a giant mess! Why can’t they just leave the family alone and let her heal from her surgery? 🤦🏼‍♀️

My guess is that it was either tweeked, not too professionally, to look better OR very likely Prince William used his iPhone to take the photo and edited it with the filter to brighten it up and that accounts for the weird corner of the sleeve and the blurry hand. I edit nearly every photo I take just to make it sharper or brighten the color. People and the media need to get a freaking grip.

Princess Catherine apologized "for the confusion the photo may have caused", explaining she "was experimenting with digital photography." There was no mention of photoshop, but because people don't know there are a thousand ways of editing photos within a digital camera itself, they automatically assume photoshop. 🙄 Regardless, it was a casual family snapshot uploaded to their website that they attached a lovely Mother's Day greeting to for Moms in the UK. People need to be more concerned about much more serious issues.

Who cares? So what Catherine edited it. I edit the majority of my photos because I want to look my best in my photos. I've whitened teeth, sharpened and blurred images, applied filters etc. I've just heard on the radio that Catherine has apologised for the photo, saying words to the effect of like most amateur photographers she enjoys editing photos and playing around with them. At least she's not doing it to other people's photographs and posting photos of other people's children. I really don't think she needs to apologise for anything. She tried to do something nice on Mother's Day and I for one appreciated the gesture. Also, the press make me laugh. As if they're so righteous. They've got a cheek criticising her photograph. How many photos have they manipulated? Catherine is recovering and has enough on her plate.

Can you imagine having nothing better to do than to sit and look at every little detail of a photo to see if you can find fault in something about it? I, personally, don’t look at every single thing in a photo. I just look at it as a whole and say “oh, what a nice photo of mother and children”!

Poor Catherine has had to make a statement to say that she did do some retouching of the photo and that sometimes she experiments with editing. Who doesn’t use photoshop? This whole drama is ridiculous.

It’s bad when you have to issue an apology because your precious photo offended someone who didn’t like it. So what if she chose to touch up something that she thought needed to be tweaked? To start with, she didn’t even have to release a photo in the first place and now she probably wishing she hadn’t!

There is no conspiracy, but the media wants there to be one, so they have something to report. It was stated 2 months ago, the Princess of Wales would be on leave until sometime after Easter. Let the woman heal from her surgery for goodness sake. Also, the Prince of Wales and Princess of Wales were just seen going to a private appointment, probably a post-operative appointment. impactful 🤣We're still in a cost of living crisis starving and freezing and yet they with their billions of pounds and influence on the global stage have done nothing to help us directly.

Surely there are more important things going on in the world we should be worrying about. The hysteria over this photo and the fact the Princess of Wales has not made an appearance to say ‘she’s alive’ is unbelievable. We were told she would have a long stay in hospital, a long recovery and return to royal duties after Easter. Surely that is enough. No one should have to undergo the scrutiny or demands to tell what medical procedure was involved. Let this beautiful woman recover in peace at her own pace please.

What the heck? There doesn't look to be anything wrong with that picture to me. Princess Charlotte's hand doesn't look weird. My wrist bends like that. I wish that people would stop attacking the princess. She is such a shining example of what an influential person should be. She doesn't use her station in life, to seek fame. I'm not British and we don't have a monarchy here, but I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the British royal family. However, what I don't understand is that the King is open about his health status, which is perfectly fine as long as it is his personal choice and his desire to raise public awareness of screening and health issues. The Princess of Wales, HRH Princess Cahterine wishes her status to remain private and this is NOT respected. And to keep emphasising the term "abdominal surgery" until it is revealed exactly what is behind it. What's the point? She doesn't want to publish it - and that's that. What the press and the public are doing here has something of a public flesh inspection, it has nothing to do with sympathy, it's disgusting! Yeah, we've reached the point where we freak out over a photo that was likely touched up for exposure or something else equally innocent. I agree with another commenter here. This photo was probably taken on a phone (possibly by Prince William) and edited to make it brighter or more in focus, all so he had a nice photo of his family. This kind of photo manipulation and people losing their minds about it isn't going to go away, no matter how much I wish it would.
