King Charles Salutes Kate's Regiment with New Colours
The King presented New Colours to the Irish Guards ahead of Trooping the Colour. Charles, who is Colonel in Chief of the seven Guards regiments of the Household Division, wore his Field Marshall's uniform and medals as he inspected the guardsmen on parade at Windsor Castle. The Chaplain General then consecrated the colours with a blessing. Report by Louise Kennedy.

Not true. He had many affairs on Diana and treated her horribly. Charles is a pompous spoiled man that doesn’t even dress himself. His family hide many things such as Prince Andrew Jeffrey Epstein that is one example. The royal family has to much power and they are not these great people do you know them? Presenting new colours to a regiment has got nothing to do with who is the honorary Colonel our King is above them anyway he is the Colonel in Chief of ALL the King's Guards Colours tell a story of each regiment, they become adorned with emblems of operations they have been involved in, all the old colours are kept but they need renewing or there wouldn't be room for every operation and this has happened since each regiment was formed l can't believe its for the honorary Colonel, i'm sure they wish her well but they are part of the Military and go on active duty

@@Guitar-qv6gu But that is not how the situation was perceived by most people. *I, for one,* *blame both of them!* However, I do blame Charles for not being more honest with both Camilla and Diana from the start. He thought that Camilla would be there waiting for him (probably because he was the PoW) when he came back from his naval tour. He just thought that Diana would fall into line without him doing anything special to make her happy. That is not how it works in relationships Diana was very young and had the unrealistic ideas of romance and true love that often cloud the judgement of youth. It would not have killed Prince Charles to cut her some slack and to *attempt* to be more dashing and demonstrative; like a younger man would naturally be. After all, he is said to have liked play-acting!

It brings back strong memories of her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during covid times, this particular shelter and the marching around Windsor Castle's quadrangle. They have been together longer than Charles and Diana. Much longer. It was a mistake on the part of the court to force them into this marriage.
