Really. It’s sad. His team has let him down many times.
A combination of coaching, management, and he deserves some of the blame as well. In fairness, people seem to forget how hard it is to win a Superbowl since Brady has made it look easy.
Can we all take a moment to appreciate that Mikerophone have made 11 videos in under a week, RESPECT🙌
Because it's a team sport and not a single person sport.
Aaron also crumbled against the Seahawks his defense gave him a total of 5 turnovers just for him to throw 2 ints so he’s at blame for that game
The Packers were in sooo many AMAZING games in the last decade. Unfortunately they lost most of them...
As a Steelers fan, that super bowl loss STILL hurts, but I gotta admit Aaron and the Packers definitely deserved the win that year. It’s really unfortunate that such an amazing QB has only won 1 super bowl, poor Aaron
All I hear from sportscasters and writers is that Rodgers is "the greatest quarterback playing the game today." Granted, he's had some successful seasons and posted some outstanding statistics, but he never plays like the MVP everyone claims he is in the big games. Rodgers finished the 2022 season with an 8 - 9 record, missing the playoffs by losing to the Detroit Lions at home and scoring only 16 points, that's one touchdown and three field goals! And only 3 of those wins last season were against teams that finished the season with a winning record. His playoff record is 11-10 and he's tied for 28th place with John Brodie, Kerry Collins, Dan Fouts, and Jim Kelly with twenty-one fourth quarter comeback wins. What's so great about that??
Then there’s Tom brady...
Short answer Tom Brady
Aaron Rodgers: is having a elite season
14:42
Did anyone else hear when he said the draft picks were "subpar" while at the same time showing Jaire Alexander??
its becuase tom brady has won more than a third of them in the last 20 years
Rodgers' career is similar to Dan Marino's, except Marino only started one Super Bowl and lost in his second year, never to make it back. At least Rodgers got that one. I would not consider that a failure.
As a packers fan I’ve been saying for a while if you only get two super bowls out of Favre-Rodgers in 20+ years, you gotta start talking about one of the biggest organizational failures in sports history
If you have such a high cap number you can't build a championship d-fense
Don't twist the knife man, don't inject the pain dude. Ok, its because of Mike McCarthy, and we are cursed in Nfc championship games. Pain.
Rodgers and Brees have had the same career trajectory and have many similarities. Both got their SuperBowl victories early in their tenure with their teams but as time went on the teams failed to build around them and just wasted youth. I do think Rodgers is a better overall QB, pound for pound, and that's coming from a Saints fan.
