The college you go to doesn’t matter as much as you think it does. Seriously, employers care more about your technical skills than the college you attended. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t aim for any of these schools, but just be aware that there is more to life than what college you went to.

i have a question. Or let me see if I understand. In high school you just apply for example to 13 colleges. And once 9 of them or so accept you. You just have to decide which one you will go to? And how long does it take for them to respond to your application?

No king, you’re not too dumb to even enter. You’re smart enough to not fall into a 6 figure debt for a piece of paper that doesn’t even matter to jobs. As he said before, it’s not the fact those people went to Harvard but it’s the fact that those people met people who had connections while in Harvard. You can do that just about anywhere.

You don’t realize all the opportunities you missed until you’ve already gotten into college.

I am pretty privileged, having parents who both went to pretty amazing schools, and them having a lot of tips for me when it comes to college. This channel has helped me with lots of study stuff so I thank you there!

Best to not even go to a 4-year school right out of high school if you aren't sure what you want to major in. Community college is far cheaper and you can get all or most of your general education classes out of the way. I wish I knew then what I know now! Now I'm like 20k in debt.

Plus affirmative action makes it way harder to get in the school if you're not black or hispanic

Luckily I’m just going to movie in with my auntie and go to a normal university. My parents both earn 6 figures and we live a very comfortable life and guess what… they went to normal universities! What I’m trying to say is, it doesn’t matter what degree you got at what university but rather, how hard you work and how much dedication you have.

They say it doesn’t matter what college you get into, but it definitely seems to shape a lot of sense since it does no pressure

Here in Australia all our Universities are top. Im from south Australia adelaide and there are only two Universities. If u completely failed school. You can still get in. And it isnt hard to pass.

The university I’ll be going to apparently has a higher rate of getting jobs straight out of Uni than the top Uni in the country which is in the same city. A lot easier to get into as well.

I go to a vocational high school which is a top school in my city. They received over 1.5K applications which is the highest it's ever been. The school went from being a school nobody wanted to go to due to the principle not caring and so many fights, now it's a school everyone wants to go to!

I would like to say, even if you get into college and or go to one, doesn't guarantee you get a good paying job on the spot, if you're applying as lets say, an intern for a film company. Now lets say they have 2 options of which internee to hire and one has gone through a lot of experience with other jobs (literally anything, janitor, fast food worker, or you created some short films of your own) and the second option was someone who went to a pretty good college but had little to no experience, they'd probably go for the one with experience because that has stuff you know and do/will use/used in life. And from there you can work your way up, obviously.

There are now a bunch of companies refusing to hire Harvard grads because of their ties to Hamas.
