I'm not him, but he hasn't responded yet, so I'll give an answer to your question: in a vacuum, the Omnitrix's defenses are just sad. A pulse blast that only activates whenever it itself is in danger? Not very useful. Then a transformation failsafe that only activates at the moment Ben is about to die, as it doesn't preemptively change Ben to save him from a Big Bang, and also needs an alien that can even survive the threat? It just doesn't stack up to Green Lantern's generalized defenses of "The ring pulls its user out of harm's way, even if they don't think they can" and "the ring puts up a shield to defend against multiversal erasure even if they are unaware of that threat."

It took the universe billions of years to reach its current position. Hal can fly from the edge of his larger universe back to Earth in an hour. In fact, he once used his constructs, a mere 4, to search the entire DC universe in the span of a heartbeat. So what the Big Bang does in billions of years, Green Lantern can replicate in a heartbeat. Now go ahead. Show a single other time that the transformation failsafe activated to save Ben from what could kill him or what would eventually kill him.

Just do the slightest research and you'll find out how Hal Jordan loses and its been debunked many times before

Ben is a teen by the end of his series, and I scale him as low comp to hyperversal with Alien X and he has plenty of hax that make him a decent threat. That being said Hal just sorta wins regardless. Comic scaling makes him far beyond anything Ben can pull off even with generous scaling, GL supporters do say some stuff about Ben that’s inaccurate but like I still think Hal wins by a ridiculous amount and it’s not even close if we go by high ends for Hal. Heck even mid end scaling for Hal realistically washes.

Hal isn't Hyperversal. At best, on consistency, he's like Multi-Galaxy to Universal on consistency. Also, Green Lantern is strong in his OWN comics but anytime he shows up in someone else's comic or JL comics--homie gets put to sleep ALL THE TIME. Now I'm not gonna say who I think would or wouldn't win, however--Jobbers and Goons does gas up Green Lantern quite a bit in any video he's in.

@michaelgarcia5680 Why would we highball? We're trying to get the most accurate Scaling when it comes to two characters facing off against each other. That's why statistics are so important in the Scaling and VS community. You can't just pick and choose which feats and anti-feats you get to use. You have to use them all--which some will raise the consistent power while other will lower. Using consistency is the most accurate way to scale a character.

Also, I really just wish Ben had more anime vs battles with Alien X restricted. He’s such a unique character for vs battles. He has so many interesting haxs, resistances, and abilities that go unnoticed because Ben 10 fans immediately shout Alien X and throw Ben into the deep end with these Outerversal characters. He just never stood a chance against Green Lantern. The Ben 10 fan base has become so set on this single fight, that they can’t see the potential for great fights Ben could still have. For versus battles, our fandom has serious tunnel vision. Great video. It was a banger. And happy late birthday, bro

Ben 10 fans are so convinced that Alien X is this omnipotent, outerversal, or hyperversal god that solos most of fiction, that the idea of someone like Green Lantern, a character who struggles and has to work to overcome his challenges, actually beating him is insane to them.

Ink tank is extremly disshonest, from saying saiyens in their ultimate form can oneshot goku, ignoring the use of Ki and power output, to not even addressing the DB comentary on their own conclusions, Ink sees power scaling as a means to an end in order to generate intrest to bent ten as much as possible rather than find an objective truth, i personally see ben ten as mid but even i can say there is no real way ben can survive this its as one sided as it gets

Yeah, I definitely don’t disagree. I love Ben and the entire series of Ben 10, but he doesn’t have the feats to compare to Green Lantern and the insane scaling that Hal has. I will always be sad that we didn’t see a series after Omniverse that continued Ben Prime’s story into Ben 10K. Maybe we could have seen Ben and his universe do some crazy stuff to get his scaling higher, but until we get a continuation (if we ever get an continuation) Ben is getting stomped. I actually think Ben should have more anime vs battles. But I’m tired of Ben going against these DC characters who clearly scale Outerversal tiers higher than him. This was never close.

Something that always gets me with this argument is the assumption ben 10 fans have that he's gonna whip out alien x instantly like he does that every single episode.

Ben’s biggest shortcoming in this fight is that he doesn’t have any where near as many showings of his true power. Alien X shows up like 6 times in the main continuity, while Hal has decades of feats to choose from. Based on the feats we’ve seen in canon, Hal technically wins. We know Alien x can do anything, but we rarely see it in the show.

It was in the process of being destroyed, and yet Alien X was powerless to affect it in any way. Whereas Green Lanterns have contained universal energy levels or destruction on multiple occasions.

You literally provided 0 explanation as to why green lantern could actually kill Ben 10, all you did was make vague statements with literally 0 evidence most of which were just based around discrediting those who believe Ben would Easilly win. How about the fact that the omnitrix has failsafes in place so that Ben literally cannot die. How about Alien X having the power to recreate the entire universe in seconds and so naturally also has the power to destroy it in seconds. Get that through your head if ben wanted he could in literal seconds erase reality and just recreate it without Hal Jordan existing in order to beat him. Now explain what defence Hal has against that sort of power because I don’t think he can.

Literally none of those feats are impressive compared to Hal. Universal reality warpers have been around in DC for decades, and Hal's beaten them. The crisis on infinite earth's was a multiversal scale erasure event, and Hal tanked it. That kind of power makes Alien X look pathetic, and Hal survived it, complete unchanged. The failsafe is slow as fuck compared to Hal's immeasurable speed.

@@Meetrandomtimes Stop wanking, Hal needed help to kill Mandrakk and he was already weakened. Plus that was Rox Mandrakk not Dax Mandrakk who is fodder to Dax and is nearly featless. Also the Hal killing Krona feat is an outlier here's why: 1.Krona clearly separated himself from entites, as they popped out of the other guardians when he was killed. In a fight where Krona did have the entites he easily defeated Hal Jordan, Atroicitus and Larfleeze. 2. Wearing rings doesn’t mean you automatically scale to all the entites, as we’ve been told numerous times that the entity’s are much weaker without a host, the comic only made a point that Hal bypassed the ring’s failsafe for harming guardians. Not to mention guy made Krona bleed earlier in that story with a punch, meaning his body’s durability and auto shields aren’t as impressive as many people want to believe.

First of all I disagree with the scale consider that Otherversal could mean anything and it's not actually a scale it really means you just so high above natural scaling that it's hard to pin point But you know who else is far above natural scaling Ben 10. Usually, outerversal is used to describe any character who is above the concept of dimensions entirely. An outerversal being cannot be extra dimensional, because they simply have no dimensional limitations at all. An example would be the Presence from DC. He is not truly omnipotent, as he was shaped by External Forces and was even temporarily killed one time, but he is above the concept of spatial dimensions altogether.

Dimensional scaling does not exist in Ben 10, proven by how the contumelia are 5D and yet they can't even survive a annihilaargh, which is just a universal explosion. They literally state that the barrier than contains the annihilaargh's explosion is meant to protect them from it. Superman is way closer to outerversal than Alien X could ever be. The omnitrix just saves him from whatever's happening if it can react fast enough and if it has an alien that can survive it, which is why it completely failed to do anything when Ben got killed by the chronosapien time bomb. And the failsafe is hundreds of thousands of times slower than crossing the DC Universe in an hour, and that's not even Hal's fastest feat. Alien X has never shown the ability to sense when someone time travels. The sotobro effect only happens when chronosapiens manipluate time. Hal is not a chronosapien, and does not leave behind a ripple for Ben to sense. Erasing someone in the blink of an eye was only referring to normal humans, not space cops who have tanked multiversal erasure.

Okay, i cant take this anymore, i ignored why spiderman vs invincible was never close, i dont care about invincible, i am not a fan of the series, i like spiderman, my favourite hero in marvel but invincible would stomp spiderman mid difficulty. I want people to come and debate me, this is why dont like watching things vs battles that lacks context. Spiderman vs invincible was never close which is true, but is mark that is winning this. Green lantern vs ben10 is close but its benjamin tennyson that is taking the victoty. With or without alien x. No offence splash, you didnt show any scans to support your arguments, you were saying things without context, show the proofs in the comic scans in your videos to show that you are speaking facts. Even most of those feats that hal did was either because of steriods or special instances, for example he was amped, the villians were nerfed to fit the story, thus you are hiding context. Meanwhile, Green Lantern is from a universe that can be lowballed to a billion times larger than our own where he has universal feats from both himself and scaling, not to mention multiversal feats and, stupid as it sounds, greater omniversal. So how is any other alien, let alone Alien X, supposed to handle Green Lantern?

I disagree, hal has been defeated by weaker beings than alien x. Ofc if you get the most overpowered things he’s done over the years you’ll get a powerful hal. But you could do the same with Ben 10 including the games and comics and more

What?? ben 10 didn't steal anything from Green Lantern. The concepts of the characters are widely different...which is why this match up was weird in the first place.

Hal got eaten alive by paradooms and got one shot by Oliver’s arrow. Tomar-Re got one shot by Zod’s son’s heat vision. Batman literally snatches Hal’s and John’s rings like nothing. the entirety of Oa got slaughtered by Darkseid. Green Lanterns are the ultimate jobbers in DC. that’s why Ben 10 fans refuse to believe Hal beats Ben

1. So a weak or non-canon Hal Jordan? Because you seem to have forgotten that, when Oliver took his killing shot, Hal had been fighting the entire Justice League and the Spectre singlehandedly. 2. So a weaker Green Lantern got beat by Zod? Means nothing for Hal, who beat Zod under two suns. 3. He only took Hal's ring when Hal was inexperienced and was not hostile, and he never took John's ring. Name a VILLAIN who fought a Green Lantern and "just removed the ring, lol." Because Sinestro, a former Green Lantern, has never done it. 4. And Darkseid completely obliterates Alien X with minimal effort.

@@justinalicea1590 yea see this is the problem with comics and comic fans; inconsistency in power levels. so when it comes to vs battles like this, y’all gonna be biased and use the strongest iteration of the character. it’s unfair. at least manga/anime doesn’t do this, everything is a single linear thing, no what if shenanigans

@@GodOfMechas So your only counterargument is that non-canon or early versions of comic boom characters are the only valid ones and to whine that it is impossible for Japanese media to be inconsistent, when Dragon Ball and Bleach each have problems with their supposed feats.
