Jipo YT it would be way better if you could extend that success further than Sandstorm can. Don’t get me wrong, he’s an amazing player, but I really enjoy it when there’s an upset and someone beats him; it keeps the tournament in question interesting. @@kahlilyarbrough6942 They say that because some combos can feel oppressive or broken to them. As long as it works there isn’t a problem, but definitely be sure to branch out to different combos with each weapon

so, i play magyar, who has 3 dex and 4 speed, and i literally cannot counter spam because of how slow i am. any other character and i turn them into ashes, so it's not a skill issue. any idea how to counter spam with a bulky character?

Does it count if I literally mash the dodge button and instead of dodging I get hit with a full 70 damage combo and I say the game is trash or when somehow a sword sl over prioritizes my spear nl or when I get knocked off stage but somehow get no jumps recoveries, or dodges, or when I know someone is about to hit me so I mash the dodge button well over 5 times but I end up getting hit by it anyway and die, or how I lag into death, or how every single time me and my opponent do an attack at the same time it either clashes or it he gets priority even when I do a long range attack, or how i literally jump over an attack but I still get hit by it because I was close to it, or when i play 1v1`s and i use a sig from the edge of the stage when someone is at deep red and they somehow dont die and when they hit me from one side of the map with a axe sair and I die(this actually happened, and i was using queen nai)

When you play using touchscreen, staying in gold has it's own challenge.

This is the 4th year i've been stuck in gold. The only reason I'm high gold is because I've been here long enough to memorize all the animations of attacks...But I keep Qing with diamonds and sent back to low gold...Maybe one day I'll reach my goal of diamond 6.

I can only assume these are players who light attack jump backdash and light attack they literally have no combo game and jst use that tactic

Personally got a confidence boost after reaching plat and my skill got way better as a result but i still don't think gold players suck. Gold 5 is very close to Low Plat, there isn't a big difference in terms of skill but only matchmaking (u can get diamonds and high plats)

Diamond players are pretty chill but gold and plat are the toxic range which is why nobody ever progresses due to their karma

being "good at the game" is one thing, but having the mindset of actually studying your opponent is a lot more important. that's how i got to diamond, i just knew how to read or react to options, and so should others be doing to get higher up the ladder.

@@jaredhenager4673 how do they dodge, how to they move, what moves do they keep using and how can i punish them, how do they try to punish me, etc. also, reading people isn't always necessary, sometimes just covering a few dodge options can work. i play orion, so sometimes i just lance slight hold nsig to see what happens, but sometimes if i know what they will do I'll dash nsig, back up/reverse nsig, if they go diagonally down i ssig. every person is different to read, but sometimes choosing a random option works on some people and not on others.

Ngl I was expecting some snarky ass remarks, thankful you guys are actually trying to help 💀😂 I have learned to read sigs and stuff in order to jump in and punish, I just need to learn to read dodge's and such so that I can actually continue my strings instead of having them dodge out and punish after 2/3 hits every time 💀

It is more than that, movement punishing, reading, finding patterns, countering playstyle etc. Try and use xull if u wanna get out of gold bc cannon rn is great and if ur opponent is stupid u can keep using side sig, the 9 force will do wonders

The best way to counter sigs is knowing when a person will use them due to spacing, if you can figure out how and when combos are used then you’ll be able to counter

Bro you don’t “deserve” this. It’s not like he’s some kind of important person teaching you a big lesson because you are lower than he is. He was also probably a stupid gold once. So he doesn’t need to act all high and important now that he’s a low diamond and can make fun of golds. Also, he didn’t admit not once that some gold players aren’t complaining about the game, and actually try to learn how to get good. He just says that all golds are annoying. Shwerpy has no right to talk like that like he’s some sort of god. He’s literally just a 17 year old in his room making videos. Just because he’s kinda good at the game doesn’t mean he’s someone important🤣 so don’t talk down on yourself just because some idiot you tuber made fun of golds in a video. Just get better at your own pace, maybe watch combo tutorial or even tournaments to learn some techniques. Keep playing and you’ll get experience that will get you into high ranks. 😎

Since I’m on mobile, I feel very happy being average. Whenever I play I drop to silver and get back to gold then drop back down to silver so I feel good because I’m an average right now I hate it though when my game frickin freezes because my IPad is too old to run everything smoothly then my rank drops...

i completely agree that you can have your opinion but ive been playing the game for almost 4 years now and basically theres no room for improvement because i cant properly train on anyone better than me because the closest person i know like that is one of my friends and i dont say "oh i cant find people on my level im too good" because im not. im not good but the thing is if no one in my friend group can help me than how am i supposed to get out of gold if i literally cant improve anymore than i already have?
