There is a certain degree of truth to this, but there are some weapons which piss me off almost regardless of who plays them. Hammer, sword, scythe, axe and orb, especially for sword and orb.

You dont know how hard it is to play using sycthe. Its moves can be easily dodged and punished. It has low hitbox. Even hitting one nair or dair is hard. Sycthe is basically reading your opponent.

On an editing note, this is top-notch Shwerpifeied goodness. Great work my guy! On a list note... yeah, pretty much. (#haven'tplayedin2months) I will confirm that orb is hard to play for 'low elos', and many times the good ones use sigs pretty heavily so you end up ranting about the Fait nsig instead of the well-versed sLight straight read. Also, I still love greatsword. .99% let's gooooo....

interesting video! i watched the 2019 one when it came out and honestly im glad to hear about the nerfs and buffs since ive stopped playing.

I’ve always found scythe to be the weapon that’s really annoying that I rarely ever lose too. As long as I pay attention to where I dodge most scythe players in experimental only ever do the same dodge reads

I feel like Silver/Gold players have a problem with Lance, purely because of its difference from all the other weapons, because of the high priority and the basic head-on strategy of us low elo players :)

Dair and sair are oppressive and have a lot of range. Even though I’m plat, dair and sair spammers still irritate me. It’s hard to space out sair and punish it because of how bloody far it goes and dair if you don’t touch the ground is unpunishable unless maybe if you’re playing spear because spear dlight exists.

When you play blasters you just kind of learn the spacing for all weapons, so I never really have an issue with one particular weapon, but I would say the two weapons that give me the most trouble are scythe and katars, two weapons that obliterate blasters when up close

Idk I find katars fine on blasters. Not on any other weapon though 😭 Actually gs, Lance, sword and ig bow are also decent against katars. They’re a fun weapon but not fun at all to fight, even on weapons that counter them… Scythe can be a pain if you’re grounded on blasters but dash jump reverse sair covers scythe dair approaches, that grounded blasters can struggle dealing with.

Greatsword can be quite annoying at times even though most of the time you can deal with it. It's like Sig Spamming. You can delay attacks between the combos and it can be very deceptive at times.

I’m guessing axe is number one because he’s a lance main

It warms my heart to hear you say that about scythe. The weapon sickens me because its ALL I EVER FIGHT!!! There about 50 legends in the game...only 7 have a scythe and yet its still all I will ever fight

"amazing sigs" axe ssig is meh. Dsig is horrible, nsig is meh. Scythe dsig is ok, nothing fantastic nor horrible, ssig is good, nsig is good on hit but if they miss they'll regret doing it

@@nuwang2381 and? That has nothing to do with volkov being broken or the weapons being broken. The sigs still sucks except for the ones I said before. An annoying weapon is not a broken one. Plus scythe is good only if your opponent is doing mistakes or if you are sandstorm. If you dodge the same way, every weapon will be annoying against you. And hammer deals more damage than axe so...

to be completely honest i dont hate lance i just hate having to put in the extra effort while fighting. (im high plat btw). and also if your only good weapon is lance and you dont wanna play any other weapon than lance thats just kinda eeehhhhhh.

Lance is always going to win "most annoying" unless something greatsword tier happens again. Regardless of its place in the meta, it's kit just doesn't fit or feel like the other weapons. I can be shitting on lance and having zero fun or feel like im learning anything, because everything i take out of the matchup is just too specific to fighting lance and lance only.

I gonna speak about the blasters, i started to play it like 5 months ago and ill be honest... blasters are overpowered. When u practice some combos, try to get reads, make your own combos, do true combos and stuff like that. I just learned how to do instant gp with it, very sick

I do hate Scythe. But I’m slowly learning a trick to deal with em. Whenever caught in a scythe string that goes off stage, go afk till they whiff.

You should do this list for either characters or specifically their weapons (because sometimes one weapons sigs on a character are far more annoying than the other)

For great sword, and why I find it annoying, it’s more the complete infrequency with which you find someone who is actually good with it. I never learned to play it even when it came out, nor did I learn to play against it (I took a large break around that time). So now when I find these people who have been workshopping it for the past few months they have all the reads, proper spacing, while I have no idea where I can punish or how to dodge against it. Bad GS players are like watching a small child trying to fight you, it feels bad if you hit them back because it’s so easy.

@PinChris see that's what I think, especially since I main bow. But after they do a dair or any move that lands on the ground I try to dlight in and seem to lose in terms of priority. Maybe my spacing was off, but still I end up losing and have to figure out how to dodge in like 5 seconds

Underrated shwerpy

in my opinion, it depends on the player. if someone is actually good with lance, i wont call it annoying. i someone constantly jumps behind me and uses hammer forward air, i will call it annoying.

The reason people don't get as aggro'd at scythe as you would think is because, it actually requires skill. Greatsword, gauntlets, lance, and sword doesnt require much skill since theres lots of combos that are easy to hit, scythe on the other hand you need to account for where the character is going to go, when they'll dodge, and predict movements 24/7. Which imo makes it less annoying to me when I go against a scythe player. (sword main btw)
