I grew up Mormon/ LDS, have been exploring Catholicism for a while, and this has been one of the most eye opening explanations of the trinity that I have ever heard. I believe that Jesus was fully man and fully God but I did not understand how it was so. Thank you for taking the time to share this. I am subscribed. God bless!

You're absolutely amazing Rev Fr Chris Alar. You've opened my mind and heart to the incredible significance of The Incarnation. Till this day, it just flew over my head. We need to delve into the essence of our Catechism. I can't believe I just accepted whatever the sisters said in Catechism classes and wouldn't dare question and clarify our doubts. Why were we in so much fear to stand up and say, "I don't understand a thing. Everything is all mixed up in my mind "? God bless Rev Fr Chris who has made the Incarnation a mystery no more. Jesus came to us as a child through Mary and asks us to return to Him as a child through Mary. He took on humanity and offers us to take on His Grace and become his other self.

Father Chris, everyone of your talks is inspiring, but sometimes during a talk I have to stop it so I can digest the information, think about it and then either rewind or resume. Today was one of those days. Thank you for going deeper into the points that you made during last Sunday’s homily. I am attempting to get back to my grade 5 teacher’s lesson of saying a daily Angelus to keep the miracle of the incarnation present in my mind at all times. I always enjoy the references to Pope Benedict XVI, my favorite Pope. I’m leaving in a bit to attend 4:00 pm vigil Mass, to hopefully get a seat where I won’t be distracted. I am happy to know you will be celebrating the 9 AM Mass on the live stream tomorrow morning. Several of the 7 members of the All-Star team have added our names to be remembered at the three Christmas Day Masses along with candle intentions. We are so grateful that we are a blessing to each other. My sons will also be remembered tomorrow. God bless you Father Chris, your family and your Marian brothers.

Now I gave the paper to my friend to make a call to see if the Divine Mercy Shrine can send her one, too and she was supposed to return that paper to me but she didn’t. Who do I contact in case the registration form that I sent got lost and I will repeat my donation to be a Marian helper?

Father Chris Alar thank you for your insight and inspiration in details for the topic:- Why God Became Man: The Meaning of the Incarnation.

Fr. Chris, I wanted to share with you what my grandson, Mateo Andres Armijo, told me about what happened in the Garden of Eden and how Adam and Eve fell. He explained that Adam and Eve ate from the "Tree of Smarts" which was his equivalent of the Tree of Knowledge. That was my education into the mind of a five-year-old. After my visit in Connecticut and I returned to my home in Arizona, I told my sister how impressed I was with my grandson. We both laughed.

Fr. Chris, this was such an informative episode on the Incarnation. I'm very fortunate to have you as my teacher because you bring adult religious education to a level that I can understand. Thank you for keeping your notes and preparing and sharing what you learned in Seminary. Our priest is a very holy and spiritual and humble man so I get him and you to remind me what the Adrian Dominican Sisters taught in Catholic School. God bless you and stay humble.
