The Russians believed Gabby was that good. They weren't even worried about Jordyn Wieber after the 2012 American Cup.

She's great

I really hope they let her compete. USAG is doing everything they can to keep her out. They won't let her come to the training camps because she had COVID and couldn't attend the winter competition. God be Gabby's ally!

I am afraid there is no substance at all to the paranoid claims you make. In fact, USAG is delighted for the publicity that Gabby's return is bringing to the organization. Gabby is a wonderful athlete, and it does her a great disservice to spread rumors about her.

I heard that the reason she didnt get invited to camp is because they have yet to release a full video of what she's been training,just bits and pieces. I personally don't care who makes the team as long as the most qualified are chosen.

If Gabby makes the Women's Olympic Gymnastics team she will be the oldest member of the team aged 28 years 7 mos. she would be the 3rd African American Gymnast to appear in 3 Olympics the only other 2 are/will be Dominique Dawes and Simone Biles Dominique Dawes did so in Barcelona 1992 Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000 Gabby London 2012 Rio 2016 and Paris 2024 and Simone 2016 Rio 2020 Tokyo 2024 Paris granted taller Gymnasts like Dawes and Douglas can't do some of the tricks that shorter gymnasts like Dominique Moceanu 1.374m or 4 Ft 6 in at the 1996 Olympics age 14 years 10 mos. the first time an African American gymnast made the US team was 1992 when Dominique Dawes and Betty Okino did so the pendulum swings every several decades it swung to teenagers in the 60s and is now swinging back to older competitors in part due to Oksana Chusovitina who is trying to go to her 9th Olympics aged 49

There were almost no teenagers on Olympic teams in the 1960s. You may be thinking of the Kate 1970s and into the 1990s.

@@Vermontist1 I'll admit I was wrong in my earlier assumption granted the first summer Olympics I remember watching vividly is Barcelona 1992 as I was 7 years old at the time and the US had the dream team for Basketball with Michael Jordan Larry Bird etc.

She doing it because she wants to. Nothing strange about that.
