They dont have to powercreep her 100% to irrelevancy. They can just make her how they did ganyu. Add someone that does her job better by 20% and see how their usage rates and relevance slowly decays from 80% to 16%. Its hard to believe they'll powercreep her though, since she together with raiden, are the embodiment of unbalancing and powercreep. The worst it might happen is for mihoyo to add a specialised melt dps that would furthermore powercreep ganyu. Adding a new freeze dps would mean shooting themselves in the foot. They'll eventually do something about her, especially when she'll be a problem for other characters' success. I would rather be afraid of what might come next for ganyu, since the cryo dps niches are kind of limited, and the next cryo will most likely be melt oriented. First ayaka and now another unit that nerfs her would lead to becoming a glorified support for ayaka.

I pulled her on her first banner and she carries me through the game ever since. Right now at AR59 she is still my best character. I triple crowned her and got her a mistsplitter. And her kit is absolutely complete and perfect in my opinion. There are some rumors about her getting a spring theme skin and I will be getting it no questions asked.

1. her burst lingers on field, deals massive damage, and multi hit allows permafreeze with the right team comp. 2.Her special sprint and dash gives good mobility during open world exploration. 3.It’s good to have mistsplitter on her, but Amenoma Kageuchi gets the job done as well and that weapon can be forged 4.during her hangout event, that dance in Chinju forest is both heartbreaking and beautiful

I have both of these 2 btw. But... Because there was the anti-Keqing campaigner wants everyone neglecting Keqing for Ayaka only. In terms of Power and Appearance. I can't forget this. But be aware, there will be the new of character haters are coming this way.

Seeing Ayaka’s closed beta footage is one of the reasons I started playing Genshin. From 1.0 to 1.6, I hoped every update that she’d be released, and when 2.0 finally hit, I felt like the game I’d been waiting for was finally complete. Now, I have Ayaka at C8. Don’t ask, it’s not my proudest moment.

Ayaka is the first and only 50/50 I’ve ever won and it was by accident. I used to disliked her sprint and the fact she can miss her burst. She’s really grown on me now coz shes the only triple crowned character on my account.

Ayaka was my first 5 star and damn, what an introduction. Even at C0 she's extremely strong, carried my way through the game ever since.

Honestly, during her last rerun, before it even got clear that it'll last longer, I was thinking "well, I want Kazuha, so I'll catch Ayaka later"... And then I did a trial and finally understood that she can apply cryo all the time. Now, a few patches later, partially thanks to 5 pity Keqing after Ayaka got the guarantee reserved for Kazuha, I have Ayaka, Yelan and Kazuha and those are some of the units I use most in the Abyss and/or overworld.

Ayaka, Yelan, Kazuha are a very solid base for a team. Yelan’s skill inflicts Hydro and pulls enemies in, Kazuha’s skill does Swirl+VV shred+pulls enemies even further, and then Ayaka finishes with a Freeze. The three of them are the core of my party for Abyss, and for exploration I pair them with Sayu so I can achieve maximum distance across land and water. 👍

Ayaka is actually my highest constellation limited 5 star 😅 I got EXTREMELY lucky during her rerun and went from c1 to c4 within 100 pulls. She’s my favorite to quickly clear Abyss or rapidly farm bosses or domains with her freeze team 😂

I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if every male character not named Zhongli, Kazuha, Bennett, and Xingqiu become roasted by him one way or another (by a WNOP vid or whatever lol).

Before I got Ayaka, Kaeya was literally my only 4 star until her banner where I got both Chongyun and Ayaka in consecutive 1 pulls. Later, in her rerun, I got lucky in her 2nd banner where I got Ayaka after pulling Ayato which took 9 pulls(I think) and got her main weapon the Mistsplitter. Eventually, she became the strongest character that I have due to the amount of time and resin I had when farming.

Ayaka's gameplay is definitely my favorite one (2nd closely would be Razor). I personally think a lot of people use her for how comfortable she is and how much utility she gives. In Inazuma we had specters, and she was one of not the only melee character that was able to hit them. She also didnt care if they were cryo, as she could still choose to do physical damage or cryo damage when needed, its not like Diluc where if you find a pyro smile in mondstadt youd just be like ''oh dang it''. Inazuma also had a lot of water, small rivers and islands, and she made world exploration SO much easier. In Sumeru she has less usage because dendro doesnt interact with cryo at all, however she functions in the exact same way with the fungus and world exploration, especially now that her dash was basically fixed and now its way more comfortable than even running with a character with default running style. Shes very F2P friendly but also doesnt limit herself to it. Her birthday is literally the release date of the game, so she's mihoyo's favorite. She's the only 5 star character who has another 5 star character tailor made for supporting her, while other gets 4 star supports (sara, gorou, etc) Not even mentioning how good her role in the archon quest and Inazuma in general are. She feels like a real person and you can tell they were so careful with their writing, giving her the first dance in the whole game that later became more common with more performers characters. She's also one of the few characters who shows sooo much interests in other nations cultures apart from Venti and Zhongli. I just want her to be happy and I swear, she's not even just waifu material or whatever, she's my wife and I will protect her happiness at whatever cost.

I wanted her ever since I tried her in one of the combat events. She was insanely fun. I love how she does the "anime sword move". Ironically I skipped Ganyu for her, only to get her later as a burst support.

@@LongDeadArtist not at all, because besides everything else Ganyu is like my spirit animal. I won't elaborate on that xD But Diona also worked great on the team, since she also gives EM to Kazuha. Layla will probably work too if you rather need more Cryo application than healing or shield.

Ayaka was my very first 5 star and she hasn't left my party since. I love her so much she's my second favorite character overall right behind Komomi 💗

When she first got released I didn't expect her to be as flexible with the team as she is. I think thats also one of the best things about her kit. You can pair her up with EVERY SINGLE anemo / hydro unit and the team will work. Some will be better than others, of course, but its definitely way easier to build teams and enjoy different playstyles with her. Ive used sayu, venti, kazuha, sucrose with her. Then Ive also used mona, kokomi, xinqiu and ayato and they all work just fine. Shes the only dps that gives that experience of ''oh I want to level up x character friendship, I'll just put them on my Ayaka team for my dailies'' and then the team is actually functionable

Ayaka and I have the same birthday. And the fact that I always choose ice characters as my favorite in any series (Hitsugaya, Gray, etc) she was instantly my favorite

I accompany her with venti as my ultimate vacuum + blender combo on smaller enemies during exploration/abyss runs, seeing so much numbers floating on my screen is so satisfying 😌 (also as a Genshin + FFXIV player, i couldn't get over how you used Kugane music in this video 😭❤)

I didn’t get shenhe when she first came out because I didn’t have a cryo dps, made me wanna get Ayaka and she’s so fun to play, I’ve been using her on a fridge team and it’s so fun she’s easily become one of my favourite characters And her design is amazing

I joined Genshin in 2.6 during Ayaka’s extended banner because I was convinced she wouldn’t be available again for a long time afterwards, and I remember wanting her only because her design and playstyle reminded me of Vergil from Devil May Cry. Now she’s my main DPS, my first Level 90, and decked out with Mistsplitter. Can’t wait to get her to C2 whenever her next rerun comes.

My reapns for liking her kit really come down to her uptime. My other dps at the time was childe and Hu tao who are strong but have definite downtimes (not the worst considering you can swap to supports) but ayaka is one you can have on the field constantly and be incredible. Really good for that slowing water domain.

the part where she is loved before her release is so true, I remember the first thing I ever saw of Genshin was a video of her in 2019, I recall saying back then "once the game drops I'm getting this character" and now she's my fav character :o

I got Ayaka on her first banner and she's almost always on my main team. I was lucky enough to get her C2 on her rerun this year and I feel like she's even more broken now. I love her kit and especially her sprint; it really helps with exploration. When she gets her rerun, I might consider getting her C3 (or C4) since she's one of my favorite characters.

She is the kiana kaslana for genshin impact. Mihoyo second favorite character. She shares the same birthday with the game, she was one of the first character of this game, she is extremely strong in the meta, and she was the only character that have 254 days banner lmao

A Genshin Play video I can finally fully agree with since Ayaka is my most widely used 5-star character out of the others excluding Raiden Shogun. She's just too fun to play and as you mentioned can do so much in her entire kit. I was able to get her at C1 though, but I'm planning to push that further the day her banner ever releases again which won't be for a long time since her recent banner was out for like a month earlier this year.

I saved and pulled for her on her debut banner cause her moves seemed very *motivated*

I remember I had dropped the game around version 1.2 or 1.3 and only returned when Inazuma released. The first 10 pull I did gave me Ayaka and Jean, my first 5 star units and Ayaka carried me far into the game. She has her own little home in the teapot and I cherish her. It's because of her that I just decided to pull on every Cryo unit I can get and I have them all (except Qiqi).

She did indeed get boosted in sales by the extension of her rerun, if the banner would've lasted the normal 3 weeks, its sales would have been just shy of Hu Tao's rerun and nowhere near Raiden's first banner or rerun (source: genshinlab)

we can't really test that since by then people knew she's staying longer therefore some would not go crazy with their wallet just yet and wait until the last few days, if it was going to end by the usual 3 weeks mark the final 2 days would've looked different than what it is was now.

i also find it funny how her birthday is the genshin anniversary- but fr shes an ideal character and it shows, and im hoping there are more like her in terms of cons, elements and teams thought out for characters

I started playing the game before Ayaka was released, and back then I really wasn’t that into Genshin (I’d log on like once every month and just walk around the areas, but nothing else). It was when her banner came and I just fell in love with how beautiful she was as a character. I felt a sense of need to pull for her, because I felt as if I wanted to give this game another chance, then she’d completely enhance my experience with the game. Her banner was also the first time that I became so heavily invested with grinding every primogem I could find through quests and exploration, and thankfully after 84 pity (and on a 50/50) she came home. Now at AR58, I am both an Ayaka and Keqing main, and they are always my go-to for spiral. I am just very grateful that I have her because she allowed me to give this game another chance, to really see the beauty of it and what it had to offer.

When I played Genshin back in 2020 I was really hyped for Ayaka, but then I got burnout from the game and left. Came back like 2 months ago, and it's nice to see that Ayaka ended up being really good. Also, Kugane theme as background music, banger video

Ever since I started playing the game on Raiden's first release, I've been waiting for Ayaka. When her rerun banner was extended I luckily got Mistsplitter in 70 pity, the fright that the Mistsplitter/Unforged weapon banner gave me still lingers to this day lol

Just realized the music was from Kugane but it fits so well with Genshin that I didn't notice until halfway through

She has what i'm still missing with Jean. An infusion of her own element. Making her a hyper carry, a main dps, a burst dps all in one with her kit. She can be played on multiple roles, in multiple ways. and when i'm traveling around the overworld it's just ayaka and kokomi and you cant die, and everything doesnt stand a chance against you. But the later feels great battling foes because her normal and charged attacks feel great to use. And her skills amplify this by having 1 big aoe attack and a burst you dont really need. But everything annoying you dont want to deal with is gone in seconds. also traveling along the water in inazuma was the best + of all.

i always wanted and still want an ayaka

One of the big reasons I got her was because I needed a way to deal with the hydro abyss herald and her cryo infusion autos was great since the stupid hydro aura made ability cooldowns a million years (and I didn't have ganyu)

I like Kugane (hate the jump puzzle though) (FFXIV X GENSHIN would be sweet)

waiting for mistsplitter banner so i can finally give my Keqing her bis weapon and have Ayaka the prestigious Amenoma Kageuchi. Anyway great vid!! i didn't realise how much i use her in abyss until u literally told me lol. She just felt like a comfort grab for getting the abyss done for me personally so i never realised ..

I initially pulled for her cause I was new to the game and my brother told me she would be useful for water traversal as well as a good overall unit. Glad I got her as my first 5 star. Now im gonna save to get mist splitter.

Ayaka was the much needed DPS in my team and the first 5* that I extensively prefarmed for materials despite not guaranteed because I really need her so much. I even pulled Kokomi to make a permafreeze team and they are besties in Spiral Abyss. Cryo sprint super helpful in overworld, elegant burst animation and satisfying burst damage. Amenoma works perfectly with her too if you cant get Mistsplitter. Now I got Ganyu, three of them is the eternal blizzard team I've grown to love.

Hii! I was just wondering what music was used in the video? I just found it quite pleasant

The absolute very first time i heard of Genshin a month or so before it came out, i only saw one trailer. I won't lie and say i remember much about it but i was interested in the game especially when it said it was for console and was gonna try it out. Then Ayaka came on screen. I saw leaks of her finally arriving and i saved everything with only 1 bp n welkin ever bought. Her and her blade came home early which was the luckiest I've EVER been in Genshin and now almost at AR 60 with her still as my most invested character.

As a triple crowned ayaka main, I have 4 words for why everyone plays ayaka "unga bunga big damage" But as an Ayaka simp, I have one word for why we play her "HAYAMINNNNN"

She’s my most favourite character, so gentle but overpowered

ayaka was my first limited 5 star (i skipped kazuha although he was really fun to play bcs i didn't have a dps at that time). decided to save and pull for her bcs everyone said she's a dps (i was new to the game before inazuma release), and yes, i never regretted my decision back then. she's carrying me until now and i got to 36 stars abyss bcs of my freeze team. mistsplitter came home during her rerun and i am so proud of my ayaka rn :')

I dont see many Ayakas anymore tbh, in fact the more characters that get released the less I see of any particular character overused, outside of recently released characters.

The only chracter I triple crowned cuz she is worth it I still think Raiden is my fav character overall but Ayaka is definitely up there and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way, she is just overall a great character in every aspect

there's also the fact that her burst actually targets a unit after animation which is something i havent seen on anyone

not because im an ayaka main but this is my favorite in the series cus u went in deep with what made her so easy to build with insane damagee

IMO, her feelings and lore being interwoven into the main game made it clear to me that she’s very dear to the developers. I also felt like she had one of the most realistic emotions in wanting to end Shogun’s eternity, she just feels love for those around her. That melts anyone’s heart.

Is that a chill remix of Shinryu's theme I hear playing in the bg? I didn't know I needed that in my life so thx

First character in the beta build? Huh, didn’t know that. Pretty neat.

Thanks to the extended banner I managed to get ayaka (c0) and a mistsplitter (r1) making her my best built character slightly above ganyu (better artifacts my ganyu has r1 amos). I love absolutely nuking things with her burst but the range and other utility of ganyu is often needed so I can say that even with having both you don’t feel bad about it. Of course ayaka is my favorite personality (and the fact that she seems like she kinda has a thing for the traveler is adorable to me)
