The top dogs usually look down their noses at the underdogs. However, the team at the top might underperform due to choking. On the flip side, the underdogs could perform better than the top dogs because there is not a lot of expectation, and they can play naturally.
Best way of learning .
Thank you for your amazing lessons.I really enjoy learning English with BBC.

Being under pressure often leads people to underperform. It's not easy not to be anxious when you are expected to win
Also, Leichester City's forward Jamie Vardy has an underdog story. He was a factory worker five years before the Premier League title. It is inspiring!

The top dogs can look their noses at the underdogs. They get used to winning, so they believe that they can do it. On the flip side, the top dogs sometimes experience choking because many audiences expect them to win, which leads them to underperform. Whereas, the underdogs don’t experience any expectation or hard pressure, they are able to play naturally and win, then they are promoted from non-league to the Premier league.
It was a best🎉
I love underdogs stories, especially when top dogs look down their noses at them, and surprisingly underdogs overcome the top dogs.

👍 There are some excellent underdog stories in films and books. Do you know any?
Under dog means least likely to win Looks nose down to someone means you feel yourself superior to them Fleckside : less positive Topdog: informa way to say successful person Underperformed: perfrom worst then expected
Unfortunately Luton Town is not doing well in Premier League and now that there are left only 4 matches they have to overcome themselves again to avoid being relegated down to the second league.
Who else loves to root for the underdog during the finals of any game?! 🙌 It makes the match much more interesting, right? When was the last time you rooted for the underdog team? Let us know in the comments!

I don't think so. This doesn't explain why everyone in the world must love the US, the world superpower, at the risk of being labelled and discredited as "anti-American". The BBC loves the US too, especially when it's about wars. How do you explain that?
