But mostly I share about the thing I was far too slow to learn: that the only reason to do a book is to establish yourself as a leader in your field, to showcase your authority and to leave a legacy. That doesn’t mean your book can’t help people and be a bucket list accomplishment. It just means that a truly successful book does all of those things.
