I know how that feels. I had mine for 14 years and even til this day, once in a while, he pops up in my dream to say hi, and it makes me so happy. I loved him more than my life. He died back in 2008

I got one after my father passed away and she helped me get better she always finds ways to make me happy and knows when I feel down she's very loyal if I walk out a room she follows me and doesn't follow my friends who come round she's extremely loyal and smart

Had mine for 17 year's he behaved more like a person than a dog.

They have a lot of energy but having another dog has helped me because they keep each other active and entertained for hours

We breed them and they are my favorite breed, I love all of them, they all have their special traits but English Cockers are special, they are pretty much pocket golden retrievers but somehow even more affectionate when they are on the ground they are playfull and active but when you pick them up they immediatly go into hug mode, they LOVE to hug, they just melt in your arms in addition they are natural waterdogs so they are generally easy to give a bath to, as long as you make sure the first time is a good experience ofcourse, they were initially bred for retrieving waterfowl, so like golden retrievers they like to fetch things and bring them back (and then not actually give them to you cause that's what makes it fun haha) also, they (like all spaniels) are absolutely amazing with children, they wil realise how far they can go with them, with a 6yo they wil play but not go all out, with a 10yo they wil though, with babies they wil be very carefull

I had a cocker spaniel for 14 years he died around year ago and we’re looking to get another one for the family but they’re just so hard to find no good breeders

My last one lived til she was 15,my current one is now 15,every day she's alive is a gift.. I bought her some wheels because she couldn't walk, as soon as I'd built it she walked down the garden and then down the road unaided, little swine

Had 15 amazing years with one just like him. Only negative is they shed loads

I currently have one and I recommend everyone to at least get one in ur lifetime but they are very active and need lots of training and grooming

English cockers are the best! I had a black girl cocker and she had the cutest personality. Very sassy and girly!! I miss Sparkle so much!!

lady and the vagabond is a cavalier king charles spaniel, also an amazing breed, in fact that is the easiest dog to own, they adapt perfectly to any home situation. they were often held by richer people as they were popularised and later named after king charles II still are but today they are more universal

I prefer Always american cocker Spaniel dog breed
