Stop using transfermarkt numbers for assists. You re spreading dogshit info. Assists werent officialy tracked in most of Zidanes career let alone Platini or Maradona. Maradonas number is missing all of his argentinos juniors and boca juniors numbers plus some of his napoli seasons. U think they tracked platinis assists in Nancy , Saint Etienne or early Juventus? Come on bro, use your brain a little

2007-2013 was the peak for world class strikers and Dzeko is one of the last of that era

In an interview he said when he was 13/14 he refused to shoot in training with his right despite being right footed so he could learn to shoot with his left as well and as we could see through his career it worked quite well

Dzeko has a true talent for flying under the radar but always showing up in *massive* moments! What a career he has had. This guy has been around since I was in grade school!!!

I am an Inter fan and I never really appreciated how skilled he was until he came to Inter. Its a shame Inter got him at 35

The player who in his hometown, playing for his city club FK Željezničar, was called "kloc"(log, block, clumsy player) by the fans, reached the very top through the Czech Republic, Germany, England and Italy and became the main player of his national team. Throughout his career, he played for lower-mid clubs (including City in that time, which is on the rise from that generation). I'm sure he could have played when he was younger for top clubs, but at the end of his career Inter came as the icing on his career, which speaks volumes about Dzeko as a player that he comes to a big club "at the end" of his career with due respect to the others clubs he played for. Maybe the transfer was a little late, but I believe that it was more his desire to play for mediocre teams. If he was English and not Bosnian, I think he would be heard all over the place.

I played against him in primary school... everything he have is well deserved. Incredible work ethic. He bring our small country to the World cup in Brazil.

Dzeko is such a monster and I'm very glad I watch him played as a kid but now it's going to be sad once he retires 😔

Everybody talk about Benzema, Ronaldo, Suarez, Lewandowski or Aguero and ofc this Players are all worldclass but you will never hear the Name Edin Dzeko. He was always really good and make his Goals. In 738 Games he had 323 Goals and 145 Assists... that's really strong and he is a fair player bc he only got 2 red cards and he needs 162 Minutes to score a goal. Maybe he in underradet bc of his nationality but he always was good, in ManCity, Serie A or Bundesliga, he always was a good striker and always has good scorer

To this day i cannot figure out dzekos prime 08/09 Wolfsburg where hes top goalscorer and bundesliga champion? 11/12 City like when he scored the qpr equalixer What about 13/14 city when he scored 16 in 31 despite being a bench player. AND he scored what would be a winner vs nigeria to send bosnia to the knockouts of the wc if it didnt get falsely disallowed? 16/17 Roma when he won the europa league golden boot and runners up in serie A? And scored 29 IN 37!? 22/23 inter when he scored several crucial goals and even MOTM vs ACM in the semifinals when hes 37!? His time of prime can be a debate that can stretch as long as messi vs Ronaldo.
