omfg I'm a huge DE fan and I can't unsee this. Dougdoug has Harry's chaos and Parkzer is 100% just along for the ride like Kim.

Charlie Slimecicle and DougDoug are opposites. Charlie is the most unhinged person I can imagine and with every fact about his person life I realize he is the most sane and grounded KZreadr on this platform. DougDoug, at first glance, looks pretty sane and grounded. And then you hear details about his personal life.

@@svgaming263 you don't need a disgnosis to have it, a diagnosis is just a confirmation by a doctor. Sometimes people display traits so clearly that a diagnosis is more of a formality than a mystery solved. Self-diagnosis and misdiagnosis is a huge problem but DougDoug is about as ADHD as a person could possibly be. I'm a councillor for kids with ADHD and let me tell you he'd fit in with the group like peas in a pod. Kids we meet in schools that behave like Doug are referred to us without needing a diagnosis, because if you have a certain cluster of behavioural traits then you at least have a form of "virtual ADHD". There's no content creator alive whose behaviour matches an ADHD symptom list quite like Doug, and it's extremely obvious to anyone with eyes that these behavioral traits are what make Doug such an entertaining watch. His constant habit of getting distracted, his endless stimulation seeking, his weird hyperfocuses, his habit of waiting until he's busting to pee, his ability to stream a chaotic stream for literally hours without burning out, it's all there my dude. I'm rarely confident about guessing if someone had ADHD or not, because it's typically not always obvious and could often be another thing going on, but DougDoug is basically a poster child for how to succeed with severe ADHD. He really should try to chase a diagnosis, because having a clear diagnosis can open a lot of doors for treatment if/when you need it. But yeah, Doug for sure has ADHD. I'd bet money on a diagnosis if it weren't unethical.

I can now imagine DougDoug walks in with a rattling box and after closing the door behind him drops it and yells "Be free!" as the contents of the box just darts into various corners of the house. Then when Parkzer asks what he just dropped into the house he just tells him not to worry about it.

Parkzer: "Doug, if I bring food or drinks into the house, you may take whatever you like. I do not care." Doug: "Hmm, that wasn't clear enough... I'd better write Parkzer a formal letter asking him if I may take a single Dr. Pepper."

It's so bizzare that Stream Doug and Home Doug are the exact same person.

These two work so well together because it's the classic pairing of the comic and the straight man, just like Abbott and Costello and so many others. It's a method that's very tried and true, but nearly flawless.

Doug and Parkzer are a sitcom couple.

What is great about this is that we can reasonably assume Doug doesn't do this for content. Usually when streamers do deranged things it's because they have an audience, but Doug has no guarantee that Parkzer will ever mention any of it live. He just relishes in the chaos. I think we can also reasonably assume there are hundreds of hours of insane phone calls with Davey that we'll never get to know about, based on the times Doug has called him on stream.

No Parkzer, that's called feeling trapped. That's a human emotion.

The Ultimate Straight Man and the Ultimate Crazy Man.

I think I know what it is that draws them to each other. Parkzer's life is strictly regimented and exactly specified, down to the last detail. It must get stifling sometimes, but he's just incredibly bad at spontaneity. So Doug, to him, is a source of unbridled chaos to shake things up from the outside. Doug is unbound by logic or sense; he will do anything at any time for no reason at all, because his sense of humour demands defiance of prediction. Parkzer, to him, is his grounding: his connection to the real world, so that a) he can see how insane his own antics are, and b) he doesn't spin right off the wagon and end up in solitary.

I wish DougDoug would "tut at ne with his Vuvuzela..."

Its good to know that its not in fact for the stream and this is actually doug and parkzers relationship
