Once when I was sick and had Panadol, I was sleeping deeply, my cat pushed my hand with her nose, scratched my arm and finally smelled my nose to check on my breath… after that she was sleeping beside me for many days… like a guardian

Was the cat fixing to call an ambulance for you if you needed it? You are aware that as soon as you die and that cat notices that you're dead the cat will start eating you? Dogs on the other hand will wait till they're dying of starvation IF they'll even do it. Cat? Naw that mf'er is waiting for you to stop breathing so it can start eating you.

I got one of my horrible cluster migraines when I was house sitting for my family, I was also watching our new family member and he was just a few months in. But I remember falling asleep in the sofa and covering my head trying to get relieve when I felt our new family member lay its whole body on my chest and purr. I couldn’t help but shed a tear not from pain but from how much I loved him for even noticing let alone trying to help me. Jojo is always going to have a place In my heart from that day on. A great kitty!

I have three cats, I don't know what I'd do without them.

I (sadly) don't have a cat. But the four different neighbour's cats used to ALWAYS fight over which one of them gets to sit on my lap. I genuinely miss some of the kitties since they, and their providers, moved away. One of their providers still texts me to let me know how my furry friend is doing. ^_^

The Alien reason was a real eye-opener 😮 it was interesting to place yourself in cat's perspective like that...

I notice my cat hangs out in strategic locations in the house that allow her to have an eye or ear on everyone in the house.

I had 2 cats, and had abdominal surgery. Both kitties got along, but one promptly decided he was my guardian and kept the other pets not just off the bed but out of the bedroom until I was up and around.

When my girlfriend tripped and fell and broke her ankle our cat literally jumped out of the top of the cat tree running to her, she just knew something bad had happened and she has done this several other times for other reasons. She is extremely protectful and often just comes aroubd to make sure you are ok.

Hearing your parents “talking” in the other room. And then when you get married and have little kids you can be “talking” in your room with your wife. She died last year and I miss “talking” with her.

This is a very educational video. I'm not a cat owner, but this teaches me all about Kitties and their personalities.

Cats, like dogs, feel more secure knowing their humans are all right. I had a cat that went deaf. Not being able to hear the bustle of her humans made her very distressed. Had they abandoned her? She started yowling loudly in the middle of the night. One look at one of us and she was back to normal.

My family had around four cats when I was a kid .. 30 some years, it's just third nature when they're around.

My kittie has taken the role of guardian and healer of my injured ribs and bad back which has made it hard to walk and stand. So she has become my bed side nurse as it were.

When I get sick, my cat Dax stays in the bed with me by my pillow. When I was asleep in the bathtub once, my cat Crookshanks meowed in my ear really loud. I think he was trying to keep me from drowning. There's no way I was going to drown, but he didn't know that. I have some really nurturing cats.

I broke my ankle and was recovering post op. My cat stayed by my side. She also got real defensive if anyone came what she felt was too close.

My little watch cat sleeps on the bed, parked between me and the bedroom door. Always on guard.

Making sure the servants are still in the house and not goofing off on the job. Because somebody has to make dinner, keep the litter box clean, provide heat or a/c as required, leave out baskets of clean laundry to nap on and shed all over.

Cats own humans and like to check on their pets once in a while.

I am pretty confident that my cat is an alien, one that has been assigned to watch us incognito and this was the best disguise they could come up with. Have a look at your cats face from the right angle and see how much they look like the typical "grey" alien.

😸 Cats have such unique ways of showing their concern, don't they? It sounds like she wanted to comfort you in her own furry way.

The voice over reminds me of guy who narrated Battleblock Theater lmao Love the "Alien" reason though. Some cats are so smart, I think they really do want to understand

My cats constantly check on me. When Im sitting in the lounge room, they mill in and out of the room, eventually settling into their own spaces. When I leave the room, they leave as well.

My cat LOVES getting skritches on his head and chin. Hes my baby boy.

My cat is always checking on me, but a lot of it has to do with the fact that we share a small condominium, and she doesn't want to get stepped on by my big feet. I do not blame her. I do my best to avoid it, but she also loves to be near me. It is a tricky dance.

My cat does it to learn my weaknesses. That's also how he hunts mice.

Making sure youre doing what they told you to do

My cats like spiders, I live butted up to a forest and get some pretty US quarter size and up spiders. I always find them dead with the back side missing.

The only thing a cat checks on is the regular, timely sound of a can opening.

Without watching the video I’m going with “they’re hungry and you might have died since the last time they saw you”

I wish my cats checked on me. Instead I have two shadows just waiting for me to sit/lay down so they can have a pillow.

Wait but who is the boss cat when multiple like grooming each other on the head? Or do they see each other as equal in that case, since the human is already the boss?

I believe that, besides we ourselves, God has a special place in His heart for His cats, big and small. Amazing creatures. They're clean, elegant, beautiful, furry, cuddly, superb predators, intelligent, they play, always land on their feet and they purr! What's not to love? And I'll add that cats have always been the most efficient, and 'organic' way to protect man's food supplies from verminous raiders. They are our close friends, as are dogs, and we should do better to take care of both species.

My cat couldn't care less where I am unless she's hungry.

Can you tell us why everytime you go to hang out the washing your cat always seems to have to be there too watching what you are doing?

You plainly can't take care of yourself. You sleep too long. You can't even catch mice. They're afraid you might get lost in your own home without their personal supervision. Maybe the vacuum cleaner monster will get you, since you don't have sense enough to be afraid of it. Anything could happen!

@@thominaduncanson7596 I've met a small handful of cats in my life, none of them when I was a child.the only cat I've ever liked was legit mentally challenged, had a wobbly head, ran like it was in a cartoon, and hid 90% of the time. Cats are aggressive, they're mean for absolutely no reason whatsoever, and they're completely unpredictable. Raccoons are more tolerable than cats are. Id rather meet a raccoon eating out of a dumpster than a cat eating out of a dumpster. People who work with animals (vets/shelters) will all agree dogs are way easier to deal with, less aggressive than cats are. Not to mention the second you die your cute little cat will start eating you, that's proven fact. A dog will have to be starving to death before it'd even concider eating its owner, cats? A day in, they start munching down on your flesh.

Predict that the cat distribution system now has your name…cats believe that no one could ever really dislike them, that it is just a misunderstanding. 😁

My cat always comes downstairs when I go to shower, is just waiting and then follows back upstairs. Once out of curiosity I faked dropping out on the floor when coming out from shower room, wanted to know what he would do in such situation. I lied down on my back eyes closed, heard him meaow a few times before poking my hand a bit. After that he bit my finger, slowly increasing force until it almost hurt, but I didn't react. But, then he just charged my head like a bull, giving a strong headbutt straight to my temple - and it worked, had to stand up and go upstairs to check the mirror, is big strong 8kg male cat and it really hurt... had a notable bump and bruise there, also bit of blue beneath my eye a few days... Cannot call the test a genuine "success" I suppose, but was kinda happy with the results anyways! 🤕👍
