Love this..I'm local to Conwy...we used to sneak into the castle at night...So different and spookier...if you were in one of the turrets when a train went past...it sounded like a dragon,,,

My humble request for you guys is to visit more places like Wales. I feel like most youtubers are doing travel vlogs to places that are pretty predictable. I would be more excited to watch travel vlogs of places most people barely knew it even existed. Sometimes these places just stores more incredible and beautiful sights.

As a Welshman I think you've really done us justice! I've visited the States a few times and am always explaining to locals what Wales is as so many people think we're English. I’m from Cardiff, but my favourite part of Wales are definitely the mountains - The Brecon Beacons, around 45 miles north of Cardiff, and especially the Snowdonia mountain district in North Wales! If you are not a mountain hiker, did you know that there is a small train service that takes you to the summit of Wales’ highest mountain, Yr Wyddfa? It’s one of the most beautiful (summer) destinations I know!!

It's really nice to see Wales featured. We certainly love it here. So many beautiful places to see.

Doing my family tree now and traced my family back to 1799 in Wales so far im from Canada

I really love how you guys geek out with history and classic movies, haha. Definitely sets your channel apart and makes me excited to watch every new video you post.

The music in this is so mismatched

We're considered older than the Celts :) and we have nothing to do with the Germanic Anglo Saxons. in the early 2000's, thousands of DNA tests we're done across east England through wales and they had Germanic DNA while us welsh was a lot different :) There's an old video floating around from a new's report on the subject stating if you want to meet a true Briton come to wales.

BC Joshiee. Yes that's true. We are always told about the myth of King Arthur yet it isn't a myth it's true. The Welsh hystory has been suppressed and changed over hundreds of years. Great video though.

That's outdated afaik. Recent studies show the impact of the Anglo-Saxons on the genetics of England was more of a merger than a outright takeover.

Wales is my country Caerphilly is my town so proud to be born in this beautiful place feeling blessed

Great video as always! If you are ever back in the UK you should check out King Arthur's castle and Merlin's cave in Cornwall.

The welsh coastline along the southern coastline extended 70 miles into what is now part of the channel, so transporting the stones at the time stonehenge was built was very different to the current coastline of South Wales

The rail line from Holyhead goes right by Conwy Castle, so I've seen it from the train many times, but I've never actually been there.

Only just discovered your channel, very well presented and as a Welsh man I have to say how refreshing it is to see Americans understand that the British Isles is more than England and that Wales is a nation ( ruled by England) we have our own language (which is on the disk of the voerger crafts) and a strong identity and culture.

my little village was on the front line of the sival war, wales vs england, my local church still has the scar from the battle embedded into the sand stone.
