Why Does The Airbus A380 Have Such A Good Safety Record?
Ойын-сауық
Why is the A380's safety record so good?
Well…The A380's impressive safety record is, in fact, partly down to its lack of customers - Since relatively few of these aircraft are flying or have flown over the years.

Having 4 engines is big plus in my book, if one fails you still have another 3 left, If one fails on a twin engine, well you do the math, ::) Apparently, a twin can fly on one engine, not sure how far though. If i was flying over a ocean and there was an engine failure, I know which plane I'd want to be in. :)

As of late, the A380 has been in demand and flights have been very frequent. So to say that its safety record is due to less flights may not be a factor anymore, at least in today's trend.
You should probably add a few more things, the four engines, or the highly experienced crews that operate the A380’s flights!

Another factor is, it’s with one of the most reputed airline

Another factor is it's huge wing sice since it was inted for bigger variants.
We really don't want an accident with this aircraft, too many people onboard. Last Tuesday I watched the boarding of a British airways A380 at gate E24 in Miami, a midsize City and a massive crew got on that plane.

I love a380❤❤❤
It’s also technological masterpiece
All modern planes are safe (unless it's Boeing with their fatal design of the MAX) because the performance envelope for conventional airplanes is a solved problem. All that is left to do is squeeze more efficiency out of the engines and wings. All these factors mentioned in this video about fewer take offs and operators is just a proxy for saying there haven't been as many opportunities for pilot error to occur.
#3 only big airlines can even think about operating an A380; and those usually have better maintenance than some South American or Central African regional airline.
Because Airbus builds good airplane

The 787 have a better record than the A380, it has way more take-off/landing cycles. But 0 accidents is still zero for all the top safe planes.
Boeing & Airbus needs to build a air freighter from the ground up to be the size of a A380. The developed world is marching to 1st world living standards, cargo ships haven't trended down in size so there will be an increase in demand for airmail.
@ShadowRaptor8

The 747 is basically an air freighter built from the ground up. It was converted to be a passenger jet after TWA and Pan Am's delivery of Boeing's SuperSonic Transports were delayed (and eventually cancelled). The fact the 747 is such a great freighter is good news since it means it'll be in the sky for decades after the A380, albeit flying for cargo airlines.

Because it didnt flight that much 😂
Utter garbage video. The A380 has flown since entry into service millions of flighthours and has tranported millions of people. The safety record is due the load of new technology and systems introduced like EHA/ EHBA and LHGS. On top of that, the A380 lands way slower than all other widebody in its class. (lands +/- speed of a 737)Lower landing speed translates into a safer landing. Airbus incorporated this into the A380 design together with massive brakes and spoilers.. Also new 2D volumetric radar, new avionics wit OIT and BTV/ ROPS/BUSS/ ACUTE systems increased safety. Each A380 has 25000 sensors which monitors everything. Even if there were 50 more operators the safety record would remain.
@sablejoke49

And the only two incidents on the A380 were engine failures, caused by only problems with the manufacturing of the engines. Also I agree with your point on the Lack of daily flights on the A380. Emirates alone has 86 active A380s

So, it's technically not the safest, because ruling out the fact it's not used often should be the key role in a deciding factor of what makes it safe or not. If I win 2 games of professional pool and lose 1, it doesn't make me a good player, I only played 3 times, you can't tell.
