Everyone should remember, Bobba is a clone. And like all clones, he likely has accelerated aging. I think the bacta helps slow down his aging and help cells regenerate. As we all all know, our cells breakdown as as we age. So imaging being a clone with accelerated aging. And it didn’t help being in the Sarlak pit.

IRL, cloned mammals have shorter telomeres than normal. This doesn't cause them to reach adulthood any faster, but does cause them to suffer the effects of old age sooner than the same species would if bred conventionally. Add that to the hard life of a bounty hunter, and whatever effects there are from exposure to the sarlacc's digestive fluids, and I'd say Boba's got a lot of good reasons to sleep in bacta. He was abducted by the tuskan raiders and who knows what he went through before getting to properly heal again. Most people can push themselves through a grind phase and rest up once it's done and finished. Well I for one say it was a combination of exposure to the Sarlacc as well as his very hard life growing up and the extreme wear and tear, but the Sarlacc had done the bulk of the damage. Digestion and the caustic fluids and gasses were doing very long term damage. I mean he woke up after an indetermined amount of time. It could well have been hours or a day. The acids had slipped into his clothing and his air supply was likely used up which made him awaken. Also using his flamethrower may have only made a deadlier concoction of gasses. Yes he would be one of very few in the galaxy to escape the bowels of the Sarlacc and live to tell the tale. But he would be having serious concequences from this. If anything this was the start of a series of humbling events that would redefine Boba's view on life. He, like Jonah would be a changed man after such a harrowing experience.

Then we have between then and Episode 6 so figure on adding another 18 to 20 years at least. Meaning he's at keast in the mid 30s range for age when the sarlacc swallows him. Then at least two to four more years when he pops up in The Mandalorian so at LEAST in his early to mid 40s, roughly. Then there's the wear and tear of being a mercenary and bounty hunter. He is clearly trying to keep himself in working condition at an advanced age by using a bacta tank even if he's not dying.

Regular bacta tank sessions leads to living longer and not dying from obvious problems like cancer and organ issues especially on how old he is in this show. Boba being a 1 to 1 clone has Jango's genetic flaws, the cloners identified the issues and asked Jango "are you sure you don't want as to alter your clones genetics to get rid of the flaws" and he told them not to change anything.

I believe the oxygen he took from the trooper was used to be air, but mostly to feed his armor so his flame thrower had fuel for the escape.

41 is not old at all, my mother is 67, so boba is a little bit past his prime, but he’s STILL in a somewhat prime state
