What happened to the Hutts during the event's of the book of boba fett in canon and also what is the status of Black Sun at this time as well?!?!

Would be pretty funny if Boba Fett became the owner of Toshi Station. Wonder if Boba would price gouge Luke if he came back to Tatooine to pick up some power converters considering Luke slashed his EE-3 Carbine Rifle in half.

Weird question. Fett probably inherited very little to nothing from Jabba. By the time Boba Fett shot Bib Fortuna, Jabba had been dead for at least five years. Fett took over from Bib Fortuna, not Jabba.

@@kennethkennethson4991 Judging by how empty it looked when he Boba shot Bib Fortuna, it is safe bet that just about all of it is gone. It is hard to say what happened between Fett escaping the Sarlacc and him shooting Fortuna. But, at least five years have passed. When Fett climbed out of the Sarlacc, the ruins of Jabba’s Sail Barge is in the background, and it is still smoking a little bit.

@@thesharpercoder the massive domain of the Hutt space has fallen apart and its unlikely bib could hold anything more than the palace and the territory around it. What's left is all syndicates who would rather not play second fiddle to him. So bobas assets appear to be: Slave one The Hutt palace One bacta tank One reputation sniper 2 gamoreans Mos espa and the tributaries among it It doesn't seem much, except the city, but it's a start and with a revenue stream he can start building his organization with it. It would be interesting to see how he builds his influence and personal army.

@@eddapultstab2078 In many ways this is the star wars series I always wanted to watch, the gritty and morally grey drama that I wished Mando could've been. Not to disparage that show, it was decent entertainment, but I've not bought into it as much as many have. Book of Boba is what I really wanted to enjoy

@@AeneasGemini I consider the mandalorian was testing the waters and settling people in the non Kathleen Kennedy part of star wars universe. It's a great backdrop that provides a lot of important context to future shows in that Era. This series is their opportunity to world build off that and we can be thankful for that.

The Hutt Cartel controlled many Pleasure Cantinas, Gambling businesses, Space Port storage and repair depots, owns a multitude of shipping freighters for smuggling, and Many Loan (Collection) Companies.

With all of those enterprises you would thing the Hutts would simply become a legitimate government. Wonder if any of the Hutt clan left crime behind and simply ruled their region through taxes levied by trade. No reason to commit crime if one could live off the royalties with less effort and no risk.

You know what surprised me? The fact that Star Wars barely mentioned anything in the galaxy in the age after the uprisings against the First Order. What is the galaxy like during that time? Unless somebody decided to do something, we may never know.

@@hackman669 I wouldent try puzzle out the lore of those three films cos it doesent exist. I'd much sooner pretend the Yuzhanvong invaded the galaxy, jacen solo went off the deep end and Jainas chillin with the chiss ;p Cos the first order lore makes zero sense. Apparently to try fill it out after the films they staetd it was essentially the Imperial Remnent out in in the unknown regions but noone takes them seriously and they're small but then SOMEHOW Coruscent and Kuat (lol two mostt important planets in the galaxy) secede and join the first order but somehow this doesent bother the new Republic who happily loose the galatic capital and the capital shipyard planet and just make a new capital...then the first order wins.

He should be successful. Would enjoy seeing the bounty hunter retire and become a force for good. Bringing peace and stability on Tattooine instead of relying on the corrupt Empire. Also nice to see Star Wars in the Modern era, seeing how the galaxy recovers within the New Republic and the challenges each region of the galaxy faces.

Being a clone does seem like a pretty big thing to draw me into investing, but Fett still needs to make this profitable. Of course my company will also refuse to invest in someone who is too…immoral. Either Fett will impress us or our credits may be invested in…other operations.

The war went on only for as long as Palpatine wanted it to. That was an advantage to the Republic, but in the long run, only Palpatine offering up Dooku to die so that he could become Vader actually had a chance at ending it.

@@Longshanks1690 i mean, palpatine was controlling both sides. He wasn’t supreme chancellor at this time though-i think. But I’m sure he wouldn’t have cared who got to jabba, because he could’ve easily become emperor of the separatists league (if they won) or the former republic

Maybe old Palpy manipulated the Jedi Order & Republic to attack to possibly conquer Earth 🌎🌍, though it would be a costly 💰 one till Palps got to pull back. While Earth already know Palpy's moves use various means to destroy his would be Galactic Empire.

I never understood many things about the Hutts. They live for a thousand years, so you think long term planning would be a key asset. Over a thousand years, I would think a proper infrastructure system would make more money than having to buy, what I would guess, be a million slaves. Slavery also confuses me when it comes to star wars in general. With droids being cheap, only needing power, durable, and can work in any environment. Slavery just doesn't make sense fiscally. Slaves must die faster than droids get damaged. Slaves also require food, water and sleep. In fictional settings like 40K, where lives are cheap slavery or servitude makes fiscal sense. In star wars it doesn't. It only makes sense if you just want to make a statement. Also of course the immorality of slavery is terrible, but I don't think that is something anyone is going to learn by reading a comment under a star wars video.

This show needs to get way more hardcore and fast, because that first episode was pretty weak sauce. It established Boba as a dumbass, rather than the underworld savvy man he is. You cannot make a TV show about the criminal underworld and assassins, while making it PG13.

If you look into the main root of the problem, you will find that it is Disney studios that believe his original character never had any honor or morals. This 'Disney-Fett' is the studios trying to correct something that was never wrong. Changing the name Slave-1 to Boba Fett's starship. Have his character arc revolve around 'respect'. Thus leading to a veteran bounty hunter wanting to run a criminal empire with 'respect'(Boba killed the man who graped his wife, he also hates Han Solo for smuggling the same drug that man who graped his wife was high on. How much more respect/honor do you want 'Boba Fett' to show?
