I have many friends who try to make me appreciate their practices. They ask me to enter the temple or eat prasad saying it's just food. Iam not criticizing anyone. Just saying that muslims are not the only one who are trying to spread their religion.

I am a Christian....but I am one because I was born as one without choice ...which is also the same with all my Hindu and Muslim brothers....so we should be sharing love peace and values which brings out the best in each of us and that is more important than what religion you practice...I am not superior and just as equal as we are in God's eyes!!!

@@Jazidane I wouldn't say It is the oldest "religion" cause it's a way of life. As you mentioned, it became a religion when people from various other religion came and named it. Archeological foundings are there which date back to really old times. Vedas were written by unknown and are there from a very long time, before any other "guiding" book came into knowledge.

Hindus are kindergarten students and Muslims are Post Graduates what a great view this fellow has Hinduism has been in existence for many years and the profound wisdom inherent in this religion is unparalleled. First of all, destroy kabah... b'coz, islamic text never allows stone worshiping... al hajr al aswad.. (the black stone in east side nearby the door of kaabah... ) pilgrims all going there to touch it... not to pray god. If this is true factor, IS is correct. 41:1 - HA MIM. 41:2 - A revelation from the most benevolent, ever-merciful, 41:3 - A Book whose verses have been distinguished and explained, a lucid discourse for people who understand, 41:4 - Announcing happy news and warnings. And yet most of them are averse and do not listen, 41:5 - And say: "Our hearts are immured against what you call us to. There is a deafness in our ears, and a veil lies between us and you. So act (your way), we are acting (ours)." 41:6 - Say: "I am a man like you, (but) it is revealed to me that your God is one God, so take the straight path to Him, and ask Him to forgive your sins. Woe to the idolaters 41:7 - Who do not give a due share of their wealth for the welfare of others, and do not believe in the Hereafter. 41:8 - But those who believe and do the right, will have a continuing reward. 41:9 - Say: "Do you refuse to believe in Him who created the earth in two spans of time, and set up compeers to Him, the Lord of all the worlds? 41:10 - He placed firm stabilisers rising above its surface, blessed it with plenty and growth, and ingrained the means of growing its food within it, sufficient for all seekers, in four spans. 41:11 - Then He turned to the heavens, and it was smoke. So He said to it and the earth: "Come with willing obedience or perforce." They said: "We come willingly." 41:12 - Then He created several skies in two spans, and ingrained in each sky its function, decking the nearest heaven with lamps, and guarded it. This has been determined by the mighty and all-knowing. 41:13 - If even then they turn away, tell them: "I forewarn you of a terrible punishment like the thunderbolt that fell upon the 'Ad and Thamud." 41:14 - Their apostles came to them one after the other (saying): "Do not worship any one but God." They said: "If our Lord had pleased He would have sent the angels down. We reject what is sent with you." 41:15 - So those who were 'Ad turned insolent unjustly in the land, and said: "Who is stronger than us?" Did they not see that God who created them was greater far in power than they? Yet they refused to believe Our signs. 41:16 - So We let loose on them a violent wind for several days of distress to make them taste a most disgraceful punishment here in this world, and far more shameful will be the punishment in the Hereafter, and there will be no succour for them. 41:17 - As for the (tribe of) Thamud, We tried to guide them, but they preferred blindness to guidance; then they were seized by the torment of a humiliating punishment as requital for their misdeeds; 41:18 - But We saved those who believed and took heed for themselves. 41:19 - The day the enemies of God will be gathered at the Fire and the records of their deeds will be distributed, 41:20 - So that when they reach it their ears and eyes and persons will testify to what they did. 41:21 - And they will say to their bodies: "Why did you testify against us?" They will answer: "God, who gave all things power of articulation, made us speak. It is He who created you the first time, and to Him you will return. 41:22 - You did not hide your (doings) so that your ears or eyes or persons should not testify against you. They were indeed bound to perish. 41:26 - The disbelievers say: "Do not listen to this Qur'an, and shout away (its reading); you may haply prevail." 41:27 - We shall make the disbelievers taste the severest punishment, and retribute them for the worst that they had done. 41:28 - This is the requital for God's enemies: Hell, where they will have their lasting home, as punishment for denying Our revelations. 41:29 - Those who disbelieve will say: "O Lord, show us those among the jinns and men who had led us astray that we may trample them underfoot and make them wholly abject." 41:30 - Surely the angels will come down to those who say, 'Our Lord is God' and then remain steadfast, saying: "You should have neither fear nor regret, but rejoice in the happy news of Paradise that has been promised you. 41:31 - We are your friends in this life and in the Hereafter where you will get whatever your hearts desire, and have whatsoever you ask for, 41:32 - As a gift from the forgiving, ever-merciful (God)." 41:33 - Whose word is better than his who calls to God and does the right, and says: "I am of the obedient?" 41:34 - Good and evil are not alike. Repel evil with what is good. Then you will find your erstwhile enemy like a close. affectionate friend. 41:35 - Only they attain it who forbear, and only a man of great good fortune can achieve it. 41:36 - If the Devil incite you to evil, seek refuge in God. He is all-hearing and all-knowing. 41:37 - The night and day and the sun and moon are (only) some of His signs. So do not bow before the sun and the moon, but bow in homage to God who created them, if you truly worship Him.

because of zakir naik..other religious people are start hating islam..otherwise everything was neutral before that..if you try to prove others are wrong..that will create more hate against islam..

He says heaven n ol with great confidence and authority . The question is have you seen it ?? It's not in his experience .. Just reading 100 books and remembering versus and lines doesn't make anyone qualified to tell about heaven and all these stuffs.. you visit heaven and come first and please then you speak about it....

I have to agree with comments about the relativity of the example that Dr Zakir Naik gave. It did look like arrogance and such examples force people to go defensive. I will try to answer the question using that little knowledge that I have about my religion. So, Muslims believe in the day of judgement where everyone who has ever lived will be resurrected and will have to answer for what they have done and haven't done. And one of the questions that people who did not follow Allah's directions will be why they haven't. And at that moment they can say that those who were on the true way did not look like that they are in a true way of peace. They didn't act like a true slave of god. And finally, they did not teach us the true way of god. Believers could have done it in different ways. They could have behaved so badly that people would be afraid of their religion, or they, knowing or not knowing, could have given false information about their religion and that also could have driven people away from the true way. There are many ways in which the one who is on a right path could intentionally/unintentionally direct others away from the only true path. I tried to answer the question, but my knowledge is so little that I actually did not want to write this message right now. If you want to get fuller, richer answer with more details, please do some research.

28:1 - TA SIN MIM. 28:2 - These are the verses of the illuminating Book. 28:3 - We narrate to you from the history of Moses and Pharaoh in all verity, for those who believe. 28:4 - The Pharaoh had become high and mighty in the land, and divided the people into different classes, and impoverished one class, slaying its males and sparing its women, for he was indeed a tyrant. 28:5 - We wished to favour those who were weak in the land and make them leaders and heirs, 28:6 - And establish them in the country; and to make the Pharaoh, Haman and their hordes beware of what they feared from them. 28:7 - So We conveyed to the mother of Moses: "Suckle him. If you are afraid for him, cast him in the river without any fear or regret, for We shall restore him to you, and make him an apostle." 28:8 - Then he was picked up by the family of Pharaoh (unaware) that he would become their enemy and a cause for regret. Surely the Pharaoh, Haman and their hordes were habitual sinners. 28:9 - The Pharaoh's wife said: "He will be a comfort to me and to you. Do not kill him. He may well be of some advantage to us, or we may adopt him as a son." They were not aware (of what the future held in store). 28:10 - The mother of Moses was perturbed in the morning. Had We not strengthened her heart to remain a believer she had almost given him away. 28:11 - She told his sister: "Follow him." So she kept an eye on him from a distance, unbeknown to them. 28:12 - We made (Moses) refuse a wet nurse. So his sister said: "Should I tell you of a household that could bring him up for you and take care of him?" 28:13 - Thus We restored him to his mother that she may be tranquil and not grieve, and know that the promise of God is true, though most men do not know. 28:14 - When he had grown up to full maturity, We gave him wisdom and knowledge. Thus do We recompense the doers of good. 28:15 - He came to the city when the people were in a care-free mood, and saw two men quarrelling, one belonging to his community, the other to his enemies. The man who belonged to his community appealed for help against the one who belonged to the enemies. Moses struck him a blow with his fist and finished him off. "This is of Satan's doing," he said. "He is certainly an enemy and a corrupter." 28:16 - "O Lord," he prayed, "I have done wrong, forgive me." And God forgave him. Verily He is forgiving and kind. 28:17 - (Moses) said: "O Lord, as You have been gracious to me I will never aid the guilty." 28:18 - In the morning he came to the city, fearful and hesitant. Just then he who had asked him for help the day before called out for help (again). "You are indeed a meddlesome fellow," Moses said to him. 28:19 - Then as he was about to lay hands on the one who was their common enemy, he cried out: "O Moses, do you want to kill me as you killed that person yesterday? You only want to be a tyrant in the land and no peacemaker." 28:20 - There came a man running from the other part of the city. "O Moses," he said, "the chiefs are deliberating to kill you. Go away from the city. I wish you well." 28:21 - So he left the city, fearful and hesitant, (and) prayed: "O Lord, deliver me from these wicked people." 28:22 - Then as he turned his face to Midian, he said: "Maybe my Lord will show me the right way." 28:23 - And when he came to the waters of Midian he found a crowd of people watering (their flocks), and saw two maidens holding back (their cattle). He asked: "What is the trouble with you?" They said: "We cannot water our flock till the shepherds have driven away theirs, and our father is a very old man." 28:24 - So he watered (their flock), and moved into the shade and prayed: "My Lord, I have need of whatever good you send me." 28:25 - Then one of the (maidens) came to him walking bashfully, (and) said: "My father invites you that he may repay you for having watered our flock." So, when (Moses) came to him and told him his story, he said: "Have no fear. You have escaped from the wicked people." 28:26 - Said one of the maidens: "O father, employ him. Surely the best (man) to employ is one who is strong and honest." 28:27 - He said: "I would like to marry one of these two daughters of mine to you if you agree to work for me on hire for eight years. And if you stay on for ten, it is up to you. I do not wish to impose any hardship on you. God willing you will find me a man of honour." 28:28 - (Moses) said: "This is (agreed) between you and me. Whichever term I fulfil, no injustice will be done to me. God is witness to our agreement."

Her question is so so simple but zakir is giving an hypothesis answers. As if Hinduism is year 3 and Islam is phd level. How is a medical certificate "student" of comparitive religious studies can answer questions. A student is a student unless done a PhD in religious studies. If he has done PhD then you will see the calmness and the interlectual answers. I hope that answered your question. Now do you want to convert.

I believe both school going student and post graduate student can learn from each other. But his assumption that Hindus are school going children is simply illogical. Sanatana dharma a way of life rather than religion is much older and diverse to compared to any religion in this world.

The school student will have the single science subject and the syllabus is small and limited which can fit in one book and he thinks that it covers all concepts of science and that is ultimate book of science subject and also he thinks that no other concepts exits out of this syllabus. Man in Hinduism we have the library itself, we are not in the stage of post graduation but at the level of research scholars....😂😀.
