Great video!
Hello thanks for great video! Finally i got my question answered why is chasuble raised by acolyte during consecration. But i would like to know when is a pontifical solemn mass actually pontifical e.g. when a bishop is presiding at a mass which is actually in his own diocese instead a mass where the bishop is not in his diocese, like it was a week ago in Kraków when bishop a. Schneider presided a solemn 'pontifical' mass while he was not in his diocese what are the differences in the celebration then. thanks

I believe the pontifical mass involves the bishop celebrating mass at his own cathedral church, but can also occur when a bishop from another diocese receives permission of the resident bishop, which I would assume was likely the case with Bishop Schneider if he celebrated a pontifical mass in a diocese other than his own.
Wonder if the Palium has any association to the vestments used by doctorate degrees at graduation ceremonies. ??
