I had my first child at 34...and I wish I would have done it earlier. Society always tells you how expensive/hard it is...but it's not quite right. when I was a child seeing my father go to work everyday I'd think "man, I could never do that much work" but when I started working it didn't seem that like it was that hard. Having children is the same way.

I agree with Carlin on this one. I’m tired of the excessive devotion to children or ‘child worship’ in our society. It’s totally out of balance and honestly it’s a bit creepy. If you love being a parent that’s great but don’t act as if people who don’t have kids live meaningless lives. That’s just smug. Also if every woman only had one child the earth would be a much nicer place to live. I don’t think that’s even debatable.
