Don't worry, Prophet Muhammad will always love you, no matter what you believe or disbelieve. 2 billion people who were pagans and now respect Jesus ans mary and honors them most passionately while atheists calls Jesus gay bastar and every other name on the book and muslism defend Jesus and Mary to their last drop of blood. The entire Koran is filled with praises of Jesus and actually ridiculed muhammad and has an entire chapter dedicated to Virgin Mary making her name the only women’s name mentioned in the holy book and the miracle of 19 bieng her chapter (Koran is coded with number 19 and Mary is chapter 19 of the holy Koran) Times magazine says that almost three books have been written cursing Muhammad for the last 150 years! Making the number of books written against him almost 300,000 and almost all by Christians . How many books have been written against Hitlr or Stalin ? Maybe ten to fifty after they together killed almost hundred million people. And how do Muslims react to the endless hate? By writing a thousand books praising Jesus almost worshiping his mother and respecting and defending him blindly and passionately

This lady sounds just like the kind of muslim I was (also a convert woman). My main focus was the Quran as well. I was very critical of ahadith and men's interpretations. In the end I was able to prick through fallacies upholding even the most liberal interpretations. Muhammad was clearly a man of his time. His message and lifestyle were clearly not for all time. Seventh century patriarchal thinking permeates the Quranic text. Including inequality between the sexes. There's nothing feminist about the Quran. You can only paint it as such with a lot of cognitive dissonance, picking and chosing the rosy ayat and ahadith, while ignoring the dark ones. "My connection with the divine is through the Quran. Not through the prophet." I'm sorry, but without the prophet there is no Quran. Else, who did these supposed revelations pass through?

So if a surah says a man is to beat his wife in certain situations, then it is his "holy" right. And when allah says do not take the Jews and Christians as friends in another surah, so actually allah meant be best friends... Yep that's true. Qaradawi (RIP) was one of the highest Islamic representatives of Al Azhar University in Cairo (Egypt). He also said that Islam would have disappeared long ago if capital punishment for apostasy wouldn't exist. What an embarrassing and inhumane admission! Faith is a personal matter, in which everyone decides for himself, and which can never be decreed and imposed by authorities or religious institutions. And this explains the fact that Muslims cannot survive without lies.

You can’t be sure

Learning science and Islam in to its real roots and the sharia makes many leave Islam, also seeing visions and dreams where Jesus appears, and shows them out of Islam. Much of leaving Islam has to do with learning history and the Arabic reading of what is in the Quran and the Hadith.

If Islam brings you peace then so be it, but remember it actually means submission.

Sofia Tsourlaki is full of contradictions, just like the koran. She says the prophet was of his time, however, Islam says he came for all mankind and is applicable for today. Then she says she doesn't worship Muhammad, but only Allah. If that is the case then why is Muhammad on equal terms with Allah in their prayers? Then she says you shouldn't really follow the hadiths but only the koran, yet she then quotes a hadith that Muhammad supposedly is a feminist!! This lady should take the advice of Aisha and not deranged misogynist. In Sahih al-Bukhari 5825, Aisha said: "I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing (Muslim) women."

As a child in cyprus my grandmother always said the nice muslim is like a viper, they strike first. But it rhymes in our dialect. She also called muslim, not matter turk or lebanese or wherever, αθίγγανος, athinganos or gypsy. Too much history of fighting in cyprus between nations and religions. My great, great grandfather was also taken as a child and became mamluk for ottomans. My point being its weird to see Έλληνας, greek person, become a muslim. Life is learning my friends.

All religions presented themselves as Llies when they denied Jesus his sacrifice! God is holy and therefore inevitably always righteous. So God can never be merciful, gracious, because grace is not justice and therefore is wrong! A holy God can only be holy if he Never does wrong !! So Fact is without Jesus his SACRIFICE out of love for us we would all be lost! Only YHWH is not lying when he says he is HOLY and merciful! Who is YHWH equal? Exactly no one!! JESUS gave himself as a sin offering !! A pure life for a life !! Because we have to be holy = without guilt otherwise God will judge us fair and just !! It's lovely that the sister took the initiative to clarify misconcepts about Islam but unfortunately she got some information wrong. The first story she spoke about was of actually about Prophet Musa(moses) and not Abraham. I see why brother Imtiaz would have seen her as a fantastic opponent to juststify his reasons for leaving Islam. One of the biggest excuse that muslims who dont follow the quranic message by the book have, not only ex Muslims is that "well I find Muslims hypocritical, they don't follow their religion" Time and time again, in so many verses of the quran Allah(God) says to the Muslims after stating a fact" have you no sense? " "do you not reflect? " we were never to make sense through people's actions. Because man is on a test himself so how can he be perfect. And if the Muslims around you are not practising right, what stopped you from practising Islam right and being the good example??? Instead you walked away because you did not want to follow the rules. Simple as that . Its unfortunate you have such a following of blind leading the blind. We all have a choice. I love what the sister started off by saying the only way to understand Islam is reading the quran NOT Following people. And the quran says Allah guides whom He wills so a Muslim is only a Muslim because Allah the irresistible willed it. Am sad for you that you lost that favour.

Your English is good but not your idea. If religion means obedience to a higher entity, then why do children intuitively recognise a creator? You can look at research in this regard, such as Oxford university. Your 2nd point is no different. You stated every scripture to resonate with the value and ethics to everyone. I don't know what you tried to emphasize. Religion and religious scriptures are in fact the sources of morality and ethics, but how can one inlay his own morality and ethics? Enlighten me please

Religion is absolutely a naturally occuring phenomenon. Humans have made up myths and legends with supernatural characters for hundreds of thousands of years. There is nothing strange or unexplainable about this.

One of most competing theory of religion according to evolutionary psychology is that religion is a by-product of a collection of distinct cognitive adaptations designed for nonreligious functions. So what are these cognitive adaptations of which religion is understood to be a by-product? First is hyperactive agency detection device, which leads us to infer that unseen forces are human agents, for example we mistake shadow for a burglar--an error management mechanism that helps us to avoid getting robbed. This adaptation leads to misapplied anthropomorphism, as we say "the sun is trying to come out" or "the clouds look angry." Clouds and skies, of course, dont have agency, yet we attribute humankike motivation to them as if they were agents with agendas. Again, it is a small step to infer a god with humanlike agency. Even children have what is called 'promiscuous teleology' the tendency to attribute purposes to people, groups, societies, cultures, mother earth, the universe, and god. The 2nd adaptation is 'theory of mind adaptation' by which we infer unseen believe, desires and intentions in other people. It is small extrapolation to go from " there are people watching me who have a desire for my well-being " to " there is an all-seeing god watching me who has a desire for my wellbeing " Next comes the attachment system, which originally evolved in the context of mother-child bond for protection and nurturance. A two years old reaching out to a mother to be soothed bears resemblance to a worshiper reaching out to a god. Religion also commonly activate our evolved kin psychology (according to islam all muslim men are brothers etc). There are few other adaptations too which known to cause the advent of religion in human history. Now come the 2nd part of learning ethics and values from religion, it's very clear from individual differences in the way people infer different meanings from the scriptures due to value system they already have instilled in them through humanism, for example a modern muslim living in west will very highly unlikely dive into scriptures and came out with the same values as a arab villager who dont know anything about modern ethics, a muslim feminist (it's oxymoronic but yet widely used) living in west will never infer the same conclusions from surah nisa as what some arab mufti will construe. Actually if you listen to her she is saying the same thing that semi-literate zealots have destroyed islam through irrational exegesis, which exactly corroborate my point too.

Your 2nd point is invalid because only Islam is the most practiced, followed and meaningful religion, you look no christain follow his religion, evem the religious one don't follow completly, other religions have no bases, I agree Islam have sects but that too they all belive in same basic beliefs only some interpretations are different

Also, there is a chapter is in the Koran that says this. If we look a Surah 9 v 94, which says if you are in doubt of Islam you can leave.

The Qur'anic references are a suggestion, not an order. They also have a specific context and very specific details (those garments women were already wearing, had to be brought forward) that have nothing to do with hijab, chador, burkas etc. The Tafseer is simply the opinion of a medieval male, not the words of Allah. It is the means men weaponise to distort the Qur'an. As for hadith, I won't even get bothered with the references offered. Two more will follow on presenting Abu Hureira and Abu Bakra, to showcase how, even hadith listed as "strong" are highly questionable. I strongly suggest you watch them.

I only quote sources that are considered authentic. How did you come to the conclusion that I distorted the Quran? Why did you say that Hafs, Warsh, Qortobi, ibn kathir, ibn abbas, Tabari, bukhari, Muslim etc. distorted the Quran? Do you have the original Quran that has not been distorted by these people? Based on what I learned from Islamic scholars, the label authentic is not for decoration. It is added because the Hadiths have passed a rigorous tests and verification before they are added to the collection. So, a single or more Hadith found in the collection that is false will make the entire collection unreliable or not trustworthy because it violates the "authentic" label attached to it. Your comments seem to imply that there are false or fake Hadiths in the authentic hadith collection. Based on your comments it sounds like you said the authentic hadith collections are not reliable contrary to what Islamic scholars claim of authenticity. Is this a fair conclusion of your statement?

I hear you, one must move away from obstacles that hinder life and move to dwell where it is well. Know thyself , living in wellness, whole, is worthy example, responsible. Be still. Not necessary to tell, prove or seek validation. Other knowers in the Spirit of truth Will be made Known. It happens in home life, domestic science and HOME economics, tending the food garden, walking in the forest, by the sea, feeling the sea sand anddslty sea, quenching thirst, stilling hunger, resting, just looking and seeing with out labelling,or naming people. 💖🕊️
