So why would you need a UV or Ultra Violet Light in your air conditioning system? There could be many things that compromise your indoor air quality and cause negative effects in the air in your home. UV lights are designed to keep surfaces clean in things like your furnace, evaporator coils, duct work, and cooling systems. Would an exhaust fan with a humidistat help with that mold also?
Is there a way to purchase the UV kit? I was quoted $1400 for two uv lights which in two - three years the bulbs will need replacing and that's without the $900 air cleaner!

buy them on amazon and hire a handy man to install them.
Once you installed the light was there a odd smell coming from it? Just had one installed iaq uv light and can’t get ride of this odd smell. Thank you for any insight 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Same here. I’ve had my uv lamp for about 1 year now and every time my unit kicks on there is a burnt hair smell for about 5 seconds

Isn’t ozone bad for you? A high reactive gas you’re breathing in
