I once crashed my drone into literal mud and caked up one of the motors, a few months later and the motor had cute lil plants growing out of it 😂 yeah this has nothing to do with turtle mode
Yes, turtle mode has fried more than one ESC of mine
I have a set of Mamba 1404 3000kv on a 3 inch for about a year...they are really strong...so far I have burnt a 1404 4000kv xzing motor and a 0802 19000kv on a mobula7....but I love my Mamba motors❤
if i remember correctly there is a setting in BF that lets you chose how much percentage of motors should BF use while in turtle mode: crashflip_motor_percent = 0 Allowed range: 0 - 100 I think this is the parameter. maybe @joshua may confirm this.
01:16 hold up we're still talking about turtle mode right? 😂
Reading comments, sounds like they are using crappy motors and escs, like iflight, happymodel, darwin, betafpv, diatone, or other shitty brands, ive even seen frames that cause excessive vibration due to poor design, but i use skystars, hakrc, tmotor, brotherhobby and Jhemcu and i beat the shit out of my stuff, sure I have had things get physically broken in crashes cuz nothing is indestructible, but none of it failed from something like turtle mode... Except for the first group of products i listed... Those are weak AF
Id jump straight to low rpm protect in esc settings is that on
