I believe re-issues is a must. Especially your troop builders, and gear packs.. it’s like finding a needle in a hay stack at this point.. not to mention scalper pricing and scammers.

No problem with reissues but flooding the market ala Hasbro will kill any toyline. Was disappointed with series 4 but looking forward to series 5. Missed out on the all black male trooper hint hint :P

Re-issues are a must, just how you go about it is tricky. Especially when your figures are so fricken awesome. I’d take a poll to get an idea of the numbers. If there’s enough demand for a figure that would warrant MOQ’s then go ahead with the reissue. Easily implemented with the tech we have today.

I'm grateful for reissues. I was late to the Valaverse world so I've been getting beat up by scalpers in order to catch up.

Me personally I want to see Action Force tackle stuff like aquatic combat units, and sea vehicles like boats, jet skis, and zodiacs. Reissues, repaints, are all necessary. I remember when I first started collecting Marvel Legends, and Star Wars Black Series in 2016, I had to go back and buy absolutely essential characters like Thor, Magneto, Daredevil, Doc Ock, Loki, and many others for prices up to 50 dollars. There are new collectors coming in all of the time and scalpers taking advantage of that, they need to have access to these essential characters.

I think reissues are a great idea because it gives new people a chance to jump on and neutralizes scalpers a little. It's good for army building and most collectors don't leave figures in the boxes anyway. The big thing now for collectors is toy photography which is a way to create art for the non drawing person. Lmao.

It's probably because they can't sell the original figure for $100+ when people can get the item for retail. So I think reissues are good because of the people that missed out and don't want to pay scalpers. PS I just got the Swarm tracer yesterday and it's my first Valaverse figure, it's really cool I love it

I like reissues. New collectors join everyday. Heck sometimes stuff passes me by that i just missed somehow. So I'm always grateful when a figure i missed is reissued.

This only matters if you care about monetary value. If you enjoy the object for its aesthetic quality (the “art if it) then the enjoyment of a Re-pro object is then “the value”. So it’s a matter of why you collect… for money or for appreciation of the object.

I would totally purchase a two pack of Kerak and Condor!

I'd like to see a stealth character that has a cloaking device. The figure can be half cloaked like how the Predator is. Maybe there can be stealth troops for both sides. Maybe partial translucent. I always think back to the Predator.

That carbonized question I think was from me it was a joke lol. I agree with Bobby carbonized is silly.

Reissues are the reason I got a WWE Elite King Harley Race that's better in every way than the original. I collect what I enjoy and the less I have to deal with scalper hustlers the better.

This was a very enjoyable and frank discussion to watch. I respect and agree with so much of what you said throughout the entire video. Repro definitely has its place but needs to be transparent about what it is. Reissues are helpful for collectors who want to relive ownership without having to hunt down the vintage pieces. And I am extremely excited for what Valaverse has in store for us with future Action Force releases. As of right now the Swarm Tracer is my favorite action figure of the year, and yet I fully expect you to surpass that feeling and show us something even more awesome. I respect the hell out of what you stated about giving us something new and original while still honoring the past. You definitely deserve the praise of the original AF designer. Cheers to many, many, many more years of continued success!

@Valaverse I know you get constant questions about doing a line of superheroes, have you considered a run of pulp heroes? I'd love to get a figure of The Shadow, Solomon Kane, The Spirit, etc.

Question instead of weapons packs will you do environmental equipment packs which includes tents weapons racks canteens etc

I’d love to see that! and things like support drones (UGVs) like the MUTT, base camp communication equipment, recon drones and some adventure oriented equipment for mountaineering, search and rescue etc…

On Re-Issues. Too many people see these as investments. Companies are wanting to make money so capturing the demand makes sense. It is common that in the 80s MOTU failed partly as younger kids couldn't get the main characters. If they re-issued He Man, Skeletor, Man at Arms, Beast Man etc it likely would have helped. For Action Force it stops the secondary market. I also would have had only one Swarm Trooper, now I have a squad. I was going to have one Steel Brigade, no I have a squad or even enough for two. For Steel Brigade if you kept making them people would have kept buying them and made larger squads. The Reissues of the main characters I left as similar to MOTU it gives someone else getting into the line a chance to get them. It's been a while now and I have a second Condor coming as I want another SAS soldier next to him. Chances are I'll pick up another to get a small SAS squad with Condor and two masked next to him.

Re issues are absolutely necessary for a popular toy IMHO.....they allow new collectors to pick up popular characters and keep mainline characters in circulation the only time it kinda sucks is with exclusives where a reissuse makes the exclusives less special but if you change them up a bit ok

I am thankful for Action Force reissues. I never even heard of the line when series 1. & 2 came out. I missed some figures. I could use a reissue of Trigger, the Garrison solider, and the Swarm troopers. Thanks for reissuing the ones you did.

I got a Desert Steel Brigade in the mail n took him out of the package, his left arm broke, I sent a couple of pictures to you n received a message in a couple of hours telling me a replacement was on the way. I think there should always be a stormtrooper, a spiderman, a wolverine, a hulk, etc available for new collectors to come in and have them at retail. It's when you reissue everything that it gets carried away.

Subtle differences 👍 so the angry “you depreciated the value of my toy” nerds don’t have anything to complain about.

I've got no problem with re-issues. It lets collectors who came to a line late, or may have missed a certain figure, the chance to fill gaps in their collections. For example, I missed out on the Scarab, so if a re-issue or new version came out, I'd definitely grab one.

Uploading on Saturdays now? Cool. I had two questions for you: Will there be any series 4 items added to the wounded warehouse? How do you decide exclusive figures? Keep up the good work!

As far as two packs go troop builders are best and no officer/trooper nonsense just two of the exact same figure.

Question! I opened up my gold swarm sentry and his joints were perfection. The toys plastic felt different from my other Action force toys, not that its bad. But he really did have a much better feel to moving in my hands. I would say I barely needed to warm him up too and he's not loose at all. So is he different or is it just me?

Any chance you'll do a set of old weapons? Like pump/lever action shotgun, bolt action rifle, lever action rifle, Mauser pistol, revolvers, ak-47, etc? Basically any weapons with wood stock grips handles etc.

18:15 coins have mint marks so if you had factory marks for the generation and factory for Action Force then that would create more collectibility and be cool to know the origin.

Very good points on repro and reissues. I say make a new design of space gun and accessories that can fit vintage star wars or gijoe or Motu (or even modern) and sell those instead. To me that's more fun sounding. Look at final Faction's accessory packs for example... So what are your thoughts on bootlegs and knock offs? (Vintage and/or modern figure series)

Troopers are def needed. I just broke the neck on my female spec ops. Now I need to get doubles so I won't be without again.

Hey Bobby, I'd love to see you get the license for Hell Divers 2. This way, Action Force doesn't have to go to space! The liscense has tons of different troops, robots, and monsters! Check it out!

I have a reissue Princess Leia (from A New Hope) and I honestly can't tell the difference from the original. It has less yellowing of course, but the figure is more or less identical. It makes it a bit pointless to collect originals if the repro is so good.

I know you don't have access to the old action force figures to redo but Id love to see you do some figures dedicated to certain military organizations like the SAS. I think there are allot of people out there would love an SAS trooper, a Us Green beret, or in my case a Canadian jpiont task force 2. I thought it was so cool as a kid that hasbro put candian decals in the boxes of a loot of joe vehicles when I was a kid. I think you could sell allot more of your standard mold figures if you did something where people could collect something they could by or modify with a decal sheet to represent their country. I think a lot of military action figure collectors are somewhat patriotic. And like I said when I was a kid that some of my joes could be in someway Canadian was cool. I tried doing some up with water slide decals myself....water slide decals look nice but man are they a pain in the ass. My almost 50 year old eye balls are not good for putting 1 cm wide flag decals on a figure that way. Id rather have a normal sticker sheet. Which feels impossible to find. 😂😂

This question and answer series is fun. I like the realism of the guns and accessories. Why are the figure's cloths and boot in comparison silly? The cloths aren't as weird as the boots, shoes, and knee pads. Why not just a classic Iron Ranger Boot for the troop builders instead of the current ski boot looking boots? The Sgt. is a good example of an authentic wardrobe. Any interest in matching the realism in the guns and accessories into the apparel too? Also; I exclude the SWARM from this topic

Got into Action Force only fairly recently so reissues are kinda the only way I can get some older stuff.

Have you guys thought about building a battle base for action force.yet?

I don't hate re-issues. I think they're a great way to get in demand figures for newer collectors or collectors who may have missed out the first time. But, then, that's because I don't care if my toys hold their value. I don't see them as an investment, I see them as toys. Toys are meant to be played with. I play with my toys.

Love the transparency. Keep disrupting the competition. "They" have to up their game to keep up.

A Camo Swarm Trooper?

When are we having a Dioramas for our Figure line ???

At the moment the real Space Force does not have much in the way of uniforms or equipment, or vehicles that could serve as inspiration for action figures. Everything space related now is made up fantasy (though based on some real world concepts). There is plenty of Land, Sea, and Air stuff to work on right now.

No way Hasbro would ever give up the Baron Iron Blood or Black Major trademarks. They already F'd up letting the Action Force trademark go. Even if you did get them maybe just a commemorative release to mark the old Action Force. Action Force is the re-release Hasbro should have done for GI Joe. GI Joe ARAH was itself a relaunch. Now they are stuck trying re-releasing the same characters from the 80s. They should have relaunched it with new characters. Maybe re-use some of the old character trademarks. Even just having them against the Red Shadows instead of Cobra would have been different. I was keen on Classified but have pivoted more and more to Action Force as I get new characters similar to what we got when we were young. Learn about new characters.

I like re-issues since there is one figure I don't have is Trigger figure. @BobbyVala can please re issue trigger figure for me

I'd like to see a continuation or reissue of the builders and I doubt that would bother collectors that much. The female bodies you make look like athletic women and I used them to "fix" GI Joe and Marvel figure. I'm sure you know the differences between your stuff and others but for those who don't the Marvel and GI Joe female figures are very skinny. Their bicep is about the size of a Valaverse female figure's wrist.

Hmm, not sure why it got deleted. I had asked about a pack of classic weapons. I guess it got flagged by youtube? Ah well, pretty sure you saw it since I think you tagged it but still a bit annoying. Basically a cowboy/RE4 styled weapon pack would be cool. With the real world equivalent of the Red9. :p
