@@zevroman I believe there are a few reasons for this. I used to lead people in these exercise programs, and I had colleagues who did the same thing. There was one physical workout we went through that everyone hated, it was gruelling and mind numbing. So, some of my colleagues just stood up and verbally motivated their class. You can see the difference; people are more motivated to dedicate themselves seriously when they can see that you're there suffering with them. The other reason, I suspect, is to create a religious environment where it's impossible to only make a partial acknowledgment of Jesus. Jesus' words are the authority above all prophets, and so you can't make a claim that he was wrong about this or that. You have to acknowledge his primary claim to divinity or reject him outright.

@@magicman9552 but jesus never claim his divine though...the problem was some of the verse has a vague meaning...also does the bible authentic in it self? who wrote it? does Mark/Matthew etc the real writers, or was it anonymous writer? do you have the aramaic version (jesus native language)? so people just compile some scriptures they found...the chain of narations was not there...its important so that we know who is saying what...just saying. the problem with the jews before was that they corrupted the torrah, and then jesus was sent to corrected it, but then injeel was also corrupted. Not all corrupted, there are some truth in it, but somone definitely tempered it, who said it? just go look up your scholar (real one that got phd on the subject). I mean, thats why Muhammad pbuh was sent, to correct the mistakes. just look at some of the correction i the qur'an of the mistakes in some parts of the bible.

He didn't have to come down here he just chose to come down for us so humanity could be reconciled to Him. Jesus is the only way to the Father. And yeah he chose to humble himself and take the role of a servant. He was the perfect example of how to live because he was the only sinless person. Just got 3 life long muslims to convert (a father mother and daughter) Praise Yeshua. They spent their entire lives listening to Imam's and never being encouraged to actually read the Quran it took me 3 hours of walking them through their own book before they literally said they were sick over what they were reading. Thank Goodness the man of the house spoke Arabic so there was no miscommunication or ambiguity. If you accept the Quran and Hadith as a reality its some of the most heinous historical situations / laws / stories you'll ever hear.

He's just trying to explain that the Christian concept of God is irrational and contradictory because God coming down in human form goes against the nature and divine attributes of God. As a human, you cannot be omnipotent and eternal like God is because you can die or be injured. So how can Jesus be eternal and all-powerful but get killed at the same time? Jesus cannot be the sustainer of life like God (Isiah 46:4) because he needed food and water. Also, Jesus did not know the hour but the father did. (Mark 13:32) So how can God be omniscient but at the same time not know something? It doesn't make any sense.

What greater way to show love for his creation to send his son to live amongst us and show us the way. Of course God would be capable of relaying these messages without sending a son in the human form, but what’s more relatable than sending someone in the flesh to walk among us? Also I can’t possibly fathom God’s way this is just my interpretation, but if God just appeared and made the word known to all of us wouldn’t faith be gifted too easily? Faith isn’t supposed to be easy that’s why there’s a heaven and a hell you must earn your way. So my thoughts would be these doubts that you’re having at what you call contradictions are the exact reason things were done by this design. If everything was easy to believe and it was just known there would be no lack of faith and nothing to be earned. The questions you have are simply due to a lack of faith. You don’t need to know God’s way or why he did things as such. There are many answers to the things you are asking in the scripture if you have fully read it and understand. To end it your question about how would God know the hour, but Jesus didn’t my answer is simply because that’s how God wanted it to be. It’s really as simple as that. If God created Jesus and sent him he controlled what he could do and couldn’t, what he knew and didn’t know and I would imagine there was a reason for all of it probably too complex for us to even fathom.

That doesn't make sense, dear. How can God be Human? How can he come for us to be sinless after a period of time, did he love the rest of his creations and didn't love who existed earlier than Jesus's birth? If you need to forget you can just forgive he doesn't need to come anywhere, die and then forgive. And what if a Christian Mafia consumed drugs and killed thousands of people? Everyone is a sinner. If not for Jesus, we would all face punishment for our sins. Christ is King! Also, the entire Old Testament points to Jesus Christ.

Christians: God himself came to Earth to set an example but is unable to send a prophet to set an example for humans. Also: Why did not God come every other time? Why send prophets when you can come yourself? Surely an open mind would never make a human(messenger) a God.

All of the other major religion in this planet believed in Jesus Christ. Buddhist thought of him as enlightened teacher, muslims thought of him as prophet, hindus sees him as a wise teacher. Sooo... they all gives credit to Jesus Christ but, but Jesus gives credit only to himself, saying he's the one and only way. They all refused to believes the written record of the eye witnesses i.e. John, Mark, Matthew and Luke. They all wrote Jesus was crucified on the cross and died for our sins and yet he lives and that he was the son of God. So use your conscience without bias and you'll find that Jesus is the only way, he said so himself. For this short, Islam came way after Jesus, it's about 500 years or so. Sooo would you believe muhammad who is in hell and refused to believe the books of john, mark, matthew and luke who are the disciples of Christ, who spoke with him and ate with him are wrong? Refuting a point someone makes with a book that they don't consider an authority isn't really a point. It is blasphemous to believe that God can do something like cease to be powerful, don't you think that Christians don't have an unequivocal statement of Jesus telling people to worship him and that everything is vague and interpreted differently from scholar to scholar? Or how suddenly you guys claim he abolished the ten commandments and contradict what Jesus ACTUALLY says in your OWN Bible several times? This is why Christianity is declining in the west.

@@nivington I'm not really sure how one refutes a claim that someone psychically knows what God would do. I think it's appropriate to give some level headed perspective, that's all. The Gospels weren't written by Jesus, so if the apostles call Jesus God or if they quote Him specifically saying it, you're still relying on the apostles being honest. Jesus obviously spent a lot of time with them and said many things that aren't in the Scriptures, so we judge that what they report about Jesus comes from what He told them. And yes, Jesus in the bible does call himself God, but he doesn't say "I am God", just like God in the old testament doesn't say "I am God". The old testament God refers to himself as "I am" and so does Jesus when he says he existed before Abraham. Or is it your belief that Prophets time travel? What do Christians contradict about what Jesus says? And Jesus didn't abolish the ten commandments, he merely added a new one: to love one another as He has loved you.

You can keep trying but I did all my research when I was finding my way, Islam is the only religion that ever spoke to my innate intellect. @@TenmaBackup We both know that He made Himself known since the beginning with Adam and Eve, that then went down to Abraham and so on. God didn’t come to earth to make Himself known because He was already known. John 3:16-17 that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Matthew 18:11-14 (the good shepherd that saves the lost sheep.) Is why God came down it is not in His will to let people perish. On what you mentioned cause of His love and mercy, but He is also a just God, and sin needs to be punished, but He took it upon Himself for the whole world, yes the mean people, the nasty people, homeless you and me. That through Him we would be saved cause it is impossible to follow God when we have sin in our life, we fall short from the glory God everyday. Jesus is the only way to God. Do you remember when God parted the red sea? And a way was made? God does the unthinkable parting the red sea. And he made a way. That way is Jesus. God didnt take the Israelites and poofed them to the other side He made a way. Jesus came down to earth to be the ultimate sacrifice for sin in the world. He died and rose for the dead so that we can have eternal life

God became a man for more than just living with man and being an example. He can to help humanity. God became weak to help a weak man. God is loving and kind. This is not a man made understanding, this is how God wants you to see him. He is Love. He is kind and weakness is nothing to fear, He can help. My God is good.

I’ve also heard the argument that god had to come down as Jesus basically to see what all the fuss is about being human but then also to kill himself in Jesus form for our sins. As if he doesn’t know his creation and what they think and go through. and the story of god killing himself for them is so alluring that it catches people’s hearts and they refuse to think differently because they see Jesus as a gift god gave to them so they can have eternal life. Going against that is very hard for the average Christian so they come up with stuff like this god needed to be with his people or god came to show us how to live.

God learns about humans??? what?? In Islam God knows everything including what is in the heart and mind of every human on earth, God knows us better than we know ourselves... there is no point for God to be a man

It's all about might, strength, power, aggression, vioIence, force, humiliation etc for muslims. They can't stand the notion of a God that shares our weakness, our vulnerability, our pain and loneliness. But vulnerability is necessary for love, and God is love.

It's so controversial. Every point needs to be justified either by believing or forcing. Nothing which can be logically accepted. Not sure how one can believe when someone said earth is flat. Still looking for a better logical answer without using belief word.

Muslims don't understand that God loves them.

Jesus will return to judge us one day. What God has the right to judge us if he himself hasn't lived our lives, lived through our pain, sufferings, losses and temptations. What God can judge our actions when he himself has no idea how it is like to live in our shoes. What God can tell us we could have lived a better life, other than Jesus, who lived and died as a human and went through every trials and tribulations of humans.

Jesus came down fully man and Fully God he is not weak he battled satan with scripture from not the Koran but the Bible.

Is he slow? God literally sends prophets to show us to how live why would god need yo come down and show us?

Just to prideful to admit you guys know Jesus is the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father but by him...the word messiah says plenty..

Lets for a second accept his logic .. people who can't follow the guidance will say it is hard .. Of course, he is God he is perfect. We are only humans. We are imperfect, and we can't imitate him .. that's why God sent human prophets from among our selves and not even another creation(like angels) so that we relate to them and we struggle to imitate them and not have excuses to not do it.

O mankind, do not elevate Jesus To the status of God above all For he is but a Prophet, A messenger of our mercy to man. Humble and kind, He walked among us, Performing miracles and spreading love, But never did he claim to be divine. In his teachings, he revealed the truth, Guiding us towards righteousness And leading us on the path of salvation. He was a beacon of hope in a world of darkness. So let us not worship him as God, But honor him as a servant of the Most High, A chosen one to guide us To the straight path of God. For Jesus is not the beginning or the end, But a humble servant of the Lord, A messenger of peace and love, Sent to show mankind the way. So heed this warning, O mankind, And do not stray from the path of truth, For Jesus is a Prophet, not a deity, A mercy unto man from the heavens above.

Babies are born in complete submission to what we call god. You actually have to learn to disregard your instincts from people around you. The truth is in your heart, put there by Allah. The god. It beats and you breathe without having to learn anything. It’s in the fabric of existence. Beyond our comprehension. We call ourselves human, but that’s a label we give ourselves for classification and organization. We can’t really understand exactly what or where we are. We name things, and try to make sense of it all in a tangible manner such as writing in order to convey our progress on to our progeny. But Allah is still in control of your heartbeat, or the forces that do, call them physics or laws of nature.

"If you disbelieve, indeed, Allah is free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts." (Quran 39:7)

The Father isn’t a Man but Jesus is, I agree that he wasn’t like us, Jesus was divine by nature but us as humans are sinful by nature. God didn’t come down to spend time with his people but rather to show people the truth and the way.

First time I heard of these theory, god must come down to earth to blah blah…when I was a boy….from a Hindu. Later, I learnt that Cristian, the Greek mythology and the Pagans also believe of such. Hold on, God can do whatever he wants. He created life and the universe. Why couldn't he come down in human form to show the path of righteousness? I don't know why muslims think it's illogical, it's illogical to assume he can't
