Non believers are so afraid of and disliking the cross, because it's the sign of devil's defeat, through the cross God open gates of heaven to those who actually believe in Jesus. Cross is our pride, as Christians.

Ok for anyone wondering what the christian is doing, he is doing the sign of the cross jesus made a symbol with his hand which means he has done this, you say " In the Name of the Father and of the son and of the holy spirit Amen" while saying this you put your hand on your forehead then on your chest then on your left shoulder and then end it with your hand on the right shoulder. so thats why we do it to worship jesus for what he did for us. ✝️✝️✝️✝ e️dit: it is also called the holy trinity.

When you have a real Faith in your heart, you are humble, and you don’t argue like this. The sign of the Cross represents the sacrifice of Jesus for humanity! That’s the reason why people who follow Jesus, do this sign to remember that he died for us, for our sins and was resurrected the third day by his Father: God. He was the Messiah of the Jews and nowadays a lot of Jews recognize Jesus as their Messiah. I’m sorry but Jesus (Yessuah) didn’t pray like this man said, he prayed on his knees or standing up with his hands to the sky. It is a sin to convince this poor man and his belief ! What is in our heart is the most important, there is no truth on this earth!

Following Jesus doesn’t mean praying like he did we follow him by doing things he commanded ❤❤like spreading the gospel and getting baptized ❤❤if we followed Jesus by doing what he did we would have to be crucified ❤❤God bless you all and Jesus is God❤❤❤

Hi I am Indian. Do respect all the religious. Some facts doesn't have to wrote in book. Without fully studied bible book I do know it is about sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We remember him for his sacrifice and they do have a beautiful word to explain it. Rather then argue with normal people, do suggest argue with a priest. None of the religious teach to compare each and other. But do teach respect them.

The cross is the symbol of Christ glory, by dying on the cross He defeated death sin and Satan. We cross ourselves to remind us that God loved us so much He sacrificed His life. We cross ourselves as many times a day as possible, when we wake up, sleep, eat, travel. Satan and his demons flee from us because they fear the cross.

ITS ALL SCRIPTURES AND ALL, not just one or just Qur'an ... ALL .......... rather hold Hebrews 12:14

Hello, We believe the Bible was altered. Due to alterations, which has been proven (compare different bibles from different empires, etc), we do not attest baptisms and other such biblical teachings are true. The Quran and certified hadiths encompasses everything our faith is. Baptism is not apart of our Quran and Hadith, leading us to believe that was an addition added by man to the Injill (gospel sent to Jesus pbuh). We believe in Wudu, a certain washing to purify ourselves which we do a few times a day prior to praying the mandatory 5 prayers. I hypothesize disciples saw Jesus pbuh do this, less often since praying as we know it was mandated by Mohammad pbuh and worded it as baptism needed once. (I believe you can get baptisms multiple times tho.)

this sign language of the trinity is a very old catholic invention and wasnt taught in the bible. furthermore, any traditions are irrelevant in the new testament. There are prescription to adhere to for sure, but the message is what people know nothing about or adhere to/practice, so they fall back to what they've heard or seen.

I'm Muslim and I've been to a church (my school made me) and they all did it. Every single on of em. I go to a Catholic skl and every lesson they all start with a prayer and then do the cross sign.

The sign of the cross started as a practice of faith by his apostles, and the followers of christ. The significance of the trinity. the bible does make some references,. On one side you have a Muslim completely absorbed mind controlled by his faith.. Other side you have a bloat that is completely discounted with his" beliefs "... We do go on our knees to pray, but the sign of the cross is just an expression of our faith at the beginning and end to prayer... Both of these guys are clowns
