Thanks Shabir for pointing out surah 5 ayat 33. That is quite interesting and helpful. Another ayat worth looking at would be surah 19 ayat 20 where Mary says "How can I have a son when no man has touched me, nor have I been unchaste?". Seems like a similar type of redundancy (when translated to English).

@Mohammad Farhad I swear by Allah that what you said makes no sense at all. I completely understood the meaning of the verse and it is as clear as day. It clearly states قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِ الرُّسُلُ (All messengers have passed away before him) this includes Hasrat Isa(as) of course . It is quite clear On top of that Hazrat Isa (as) was the Messiah for Hazrat Musa(as). He was sent for the lost tribes of Israel and spent his life in search for them with the help of Allah after escaping crucifixion and lived over 100 years. He died on Kashmir India and his tomb is currently situated over there. The Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi, who is Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) proves this in his book “Jesus in India” using proofs from the Quran, gospel, bhudist scriptures, historical records, etc.

why would we take a book written 600 years later to tell us about Jesus when we have eye witness testimony to tell us about Jesus

I agree with Sh Imran Hossein that he (Jesus) was put on the cross and God made it appear that he was killed and crucified but he was not killed nor was he crucified. I don't know why us Muslims fail to follow what quran says about this issue.

First they found someone like him to be crucified, so even his mother and siblings who were there at his crucifixion, could not see that it is not Jesus on the cross? The Roman soldier, with experience of testing whether a person is dead or not, who pierced him on the side verified he is dead. I rather believe in the story told by eyewitness, not this Muslims who came very long time after Jesus existence.

Those disciples fled and foresook Jesus when Jesus was arrested in Mark 14:50 neither they were present when Jesus on cross or when laid in the tomb. The real eyewitness to Jesus trial are Pilate and the women.

@@qataralyafei4188 yes they flew when he was arrested but they regathered and they were present at the crucifixion site. The Bible is very clear on that. There was Peter, James(his brother), John, Mary (his mother), Mary Magdalene, etc.. So if actually the Quran is right that he was switched, then in that case case Allah is guilty of deception and the Quran says Allah is the best of decievers.

@@qataralyafei4188 John 19:26 says that Jesus spoke from the cross and asked John to take care of Mary. John wrote the words, so firstly Jesus is identified as being on the cross by someone who knew him, and obviously at least some of the disciples were at the crucification. Also two prominent Jewish religious leaders took Christ's body from the cross. They washed the body, wrapped it and put myrrh on it. It was also placed in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea who was one of the men. So firstly Jesus is identified as the one taken from the cross, secondly he is dead and thirdly he was buried. There were over 500 witnesses to Jesus resurrection if you include Paul's comments in 1 Corinthians 15. The problem with Islam and the Koran is that you can't be an eye witness from 600 years after the events.

😅 not islam admitting that truly Jesus died for mankind. the first view is really funny, how can the disciples that knew about the mixing up continue to say he died on the cross and deceive poeple 😂 That analogy is not even worth considering. The second ideology admits that he might have been hung on the cross but did not die 😅 that is really funny because he was not the only one who had been killed by crucifixion. Also, the gospel stated clearly that they stabbed him with a spear and the cross and blood and water came out of his wound. He was buried and rose after 3 days, people saw him and saw the holes on his hand. This proofs that islam is really confusing and just wants to take people away from believing that Jesus is the son of God and died for our sins as he claimed.

And you dont think Mary knew who her son was please there is so many witness

no one will ever tell nor speak the truth about this matter. but from my knowledge it is known that no messenger prophet and in this case a son of God will ever be hurt by sinful humans. Just know that we need to lead a good life to pass this world into the next life which is the actual truthful life to be rewarded or rewards denied according to this earthly life - God Bless

According to islam, Prophet isa never even died in the first place, which is the truth. God doesn't need to kill his prophet in order to forgive us. @@wolfpack9008 the theif on the cross, one gospel says the theif asks Jesus to remember him in His kingdom but another gospel says both theifs hurled insults at Jesus and in one gospel, John the Baptist says "behold the lamb of God" but in another gospel, John is in jail and sends his disciples to ask if Jesus is the Messiah, so in one book he knows Jesus is the Messiah but in another book, he doesn't know!!

Is the Resurrection of Prophet Isa Written in the Quran? Islam and Christianity are the two largest religions in the world. What are the views of the two religions regarding Jesus' death and resurrection. Do you agree with the Koran that Jesus died and rose again? The Bible and the Koran - the holy books of the two major religions - both give "Honorary Titles" to Isa Al-Masih. Both of these books both say that Isa Al-Masih is the only holy man who ever came to this earth. He is also called the Word of God which was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born by a pious virgin named Maryam. The Death and Resurrection of Prophet Isa in the Koran and the Bible There are several similarities between the Al-Quran and the Bible in judging Isa Al-Masih. But there are not a few differences that are displayed by the two Scriptures. Among them is about the death of Jesus Christ. In the Bible, the Great Apostle Matthew 27:45-66 we can find out about the death of Isa Al-Masih. Even more clearly in verse 50 it says "Jesus also cried out with a loud voice and gave up His spirit." This verse clearly says that Isa Al-Masih really died on the cross. What about the Koran? There is no definite verse in the Koran that says whether Isa Al-Masih really died on the cross or not. However, in general, Muslims believe that it was not Jesus who crucified, but someone else that God made to look like Jesus. This understanding is supported by the verse in Al-Quran Sura 4:157 "Even though they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but someone who was like him". Is that right? Several verses also speak about the death and resurrection of the prophet Isa in the Koran: "And peace may be bestowed upon me, on the day I was born, on the day I die and on the day I reflect on life again." (Qs 19:33). (Remember), when Allah said: “O Isa, in fact I will convey you to the end of your death and raise you to Me and . . . . make those who follow you above those who disbelieve until the Day of Judgment. . . . . “. (Qs 3:55). The above verses clearly say about the death and resurrection of the prophet Isa in the Quran. Or is it possible that in the Al-Quran there are several verses that contradict each other? Thus it can be concluded, both the Bible and the Koran both acknowledge that Isa Al-Masih really died and rose again. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ As explained above that Isa Al-Masih is currently in heaven. Even though the Bible and the Qur'an record that He died, death could not take His life away from Him. The Gospel, the Great Apostle Matthew 28:5-6 says, “But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; because I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for He is risen, just as He said.” The Koran also explains that Jesus died and rose from the dead. We can read this in Qs 19:33, "And may peace be upon me, on the day I was born, on the day I die and on the day I (Isa Al-Masih) reflect life again". Thus it can be concluded, the view of the Koran regarding the death and resurrection of Isa Al-Masih is the same as the Bible states that Isa Al-Masih really has risen and ascended to heaven. He has returned to heaven because He came from heaven. Jesus Christ is the Resurrection and the Life Gospel, the Great Apostle John 11:25 says, “I am (Isa Al-Masih) the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in Me, he will live even if he dies”. Only someone who has accepted Isa Al-Masih will get immortality. Have you received the "Resurrection" and "Life"? Jesus died and rose for you!

"We killed Isa". so yes smo died there on the cross. if it was not Jesus, it was deception (docetism). your choice.

Or you can look up Psalms 91 and then reflect on it being open-minded without any bent-crooked interpretations (I will save you in Psalms 91 is NOT plural, it is singular and it refers to the coming Messiah! Also in your disposal Nag Hammadi Codices Qumran Scripts which have many different versions of your bible one of which affirms our case for the saved Yeshuah (Jesus).

Jesus prophesied his own death and resurrection. Did he ever lied or committed sin?.. Mark 9:30-32 (and also in Matthew 17:22-23): He said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill him, and after three days he will rise."

If Jesus did not die then when will He die? because Jesus says in the Quran 19:33 that He will die?

As much as I like Dr Shabbir this is a very laboured explanation of the Qur'anic verses on Jesus (pbuh). The story of the crusifixion is a crusi-fiction. The Qur'an makes it clear the entire event is an invention of history and furthermore Jesus died an earthly death ( ya issa inimutawafik..). Furthermore in surah 5 Jesus categorically denies a second coming ( something many Muslims believe in).

So if you have arrived at this conclusion yourself, how do you reconcile the fact that the Prophet Muhammad SAW did in fact foretell the coming of a reformer in the latter days - and in Sahih Muslim, he has been referred to as NABIULLAH 4 times! (Ref: Muslim 2937a). Based on these: a) Jesus will not return in physical form and b) the latter day reformer will be a prophet!

Research the Shroud of Turin. It is the shroud Jesus was covered with after his Crucifixion.

'Shall' (in fact 'Will' ) is the catch.

To say that crucifixion does not take place, it will require to deny the logic of subsequent WITNESSING that take place afterward also...besides the fact that The Father will not cause the disciples of Jesus to misunderstood, the quran failed to address the fact regarding guards at Jesus tomb, Jesus showed himself with his nail mark palm, Jesus ascension...all of these events were well witnessed.

Poor understanding. The Bible clearly says that Jesus died on the cross and Risen on the 3rd day. There are a lot of eyewitnesses vs no single eyewitness to prove that the quran is true. No even single man could testify that the quran true and is really from God- tru Angel. Gabriel. So, if you insist that the quran is true, well, the quran lied and brought so much confusion in your belief.

@@AR-ku7mf actually the book of Enoch says demons are really the spirits of the nephilem (Giants).... the book of Genesis and book of Enoch both say that angels came to earth and lusted after earth woman and impregnated them and the woman bore giant/nephilem but the book of Enoch says God destroyed the giant's in the flood and they became "evil spirits" and they are cursed to roam to earth!!

I actually did read the Quran so unlike most i know your story. It goes like this. Jesus was replaced by someone ELSE so that is why he didnt die. So by your Quran it is clear that Allah is not merciful but a deceiver who lets Innocent man die for someone else . Do you see the problem with your Quran ? we do..

LOL! Good one guys. It would seem that the "classical Muslim scholars" really struggled with a way to explain this one. Yeah, the Romans (the professional killers of Rome) must have screwed up. I can tell by the guys body langauge that he himself is uncomfortable with that explanation.

He could not explain the Quran. Jesus did not die on the cross. But he died later. Almighty Allah took him up and Judah truned like Jesus and they put him on the cross. Jesus will never come again neither Mahady.

@@shibilek in John 14 from verses 8 to 11 one disciple asked Jesus to show us the father(God) that will be enough for us then he replied I am in the father and the father is in me. I said this long story short and John chapter 10 verse 30 says that Jesus and the father(God) are one.

Why we need salvation from a human being? It's better you know your real god who said the Lord or God is one
