Context is key. He’s literally performing to the crowd that will catch the nuances. A black audience won’t relate to a hack. If a real comedian is authentically funny, the community who are subjects of the jokes will laugh WITH them.

Sherwin is definitely a rare gem. Too funny! For MOST Black folks, we laugh from our soul. If it's that funny, it's almost as if it can't be contained. The urge to run just springs up and you run! LoL And I guess it's just genetically or spiritually coded in our DNA. 🤣😂🤣 It's somewhat universal for those with a hearty soul. That's not the only one either. Dang he made me laugh pretty hard. His jokes hit because they felt real ASF. Like he told his actual experience, but just put them in joke form. "Are you going to be funny?" "What you gonna say?" He had the mannerisms, the stance and everything.

I love how he’s mix the two different stereotypes into jokes. Lol

Comedy is so effing essential right now. One of the only things that can still bring us together. This dude is up there talking about our differences, but it's a celebration instead of something hateful. Not going to find that anywhere else, I can guarantee.
