Why do Americans Love Living in China?

Many Americans live in China and many of them love living here. I have been in China for 12 years now and I am filming a series about living here. In this video, I will give 12 reasons Americans love living in China and I have asked some creator friends to help me with this video. You can check out their channels below and I would love it if you subscribed to their channels to spread positive China vibes.

They INTENTIONALLY distorted. For example, US has pushed UN human rights lady Bachelet to visit Xinjiang, in hope of showing that China is bad in Xinjiang. Now Ms Bachelet came visit and her own words are, she can visit anywhere she wants and meet anyone she wants, and does not see any HR violations. But this makes US gov unhappy, and said the visit didn't achieve its goal (of smear campaign).

I'm Chinese, I have lived in the UK for five years, and going back and forth between the two countries is quite a sobering experience, I love London and the beauty of English countryside, but every time I go back to China, I realised I may have forgotten how amazing my motherland is. To name a few, highly efficient government with a long-term view of the country, the constantly evolving technologies that change every aspect of your life, the better environment (I can finally see the natural beauty of China that only exists in my grandmother's story about the old time), and of course, the convenient life (in this aspect, living in the UK really sucks because the Internet services are not really connected to all parts of your life, and Amazon sucks too).

Going back and forth to the UK and China must give you a good look at how things are changing quickly here.

This is one of the best video about living in China, especially when you share other Americans stories and their perspectives on why they like living in China. I immediately subscribed to your channel and will explore and start subscribing to others in your video. I am a Chinese Canadian living in Canada for almost 50 years with very little knowledge about how living in China is like, I shared your video with my two adult children whom have never been to China. I am sure they will learn plenty from your video. I also hope they find time travel to China when the pandemic is over.

Thanks for watching and leaving a nice comment. Life here is similar and different in many ways, but it really has to be experienced firsthand to get a real feel for the country. It would be great if you check out the other channels and hopefully your children can also learn a little about life here.

Last night exactly on my street in a city in California. The gun noise one follow another one. Many policemen are shooting a criminal who drove a car refuse to stop . It was scary when a lot of people woke up and can’t go to sleep until early morning.

My aunt had really like China she had lived there for a few years I've always wanted to visit the Orient I hear a lot of people do enjoy it and it seems to be fairly affordable and a lot less crime and a lot less violence especially for the amount of population I hear there is crime all over the world no matter what country you're from but I'm sure it's not quite as bad somewhere like China seems like a little bit better place really

I have just found your videos, and love them - they are changing my hitherto non-opinion of China, except for what I have heard on the TV news, which is generally negative. What a wonderful country you portray. As you said, China has its negative sides, like any other country, but its people, and nature, and its healthier way of living, are all very appealing. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Thank you!! I love people like you making contents about China because most Americans here in the USA don't understand China very well. In fact, most of them have weird ideas even though they never been to China and some Americans don't even go into their local Chinatown. Seems like Americans have ideas about China and about the world in general even though they know nothing about their culture or even visited China with an open mind. There are Americans who would travel into China and have these weird ideas without seeing the reality.

It's not the day-to-day life that concerns America. It's China undermining America. Now America is doing the same to China. The CCP says China is more democratic than America. Do you believe that?

I hope more of our American friends and your audience from the west (especially the skeptics) will realise from your videos that people in China, like everywhere else, just wants to live peacefully, shares the same dreams as their counterparts in the west and be left to live in systems and ways that work for them, and not make judgements about what political systems others should live by.

Kind of ironic, I had lived in China for 30 years and then came to us and lived for another 30 years. I had come to realization that China, my home country, is the best place to live. I don’t ask for more than I used to have. One thing I have been missing so much is public safety. Looking over your shoulder in China was kind of abnormal behavior that should have you see doctor. Now I have to look over my shoulder all the time, because I live in Chicago

I am neither American nor do I live in China, but as an ageing Englishman who has spent his life living and working all around the globe, I have a good positive perspective on stuff - I hope!! And having studied Chinese Political History at Uni, I jumped at my first opportunity of travelling to China some years ago. Since then I have, collectively, probably spent 3.5 years in China, Hong Kong and Macau (I work as a freelancer, so numerous short-ish trips of several months at a time). I adore China and its' people and culture, however there is one thing that scares the living daylights out of me. The Food!! I LIKE MY FOOD DEAD BEFORE IT GETS TO THE TABLE, PLEASE!!! bDamn, you need a VERY open mind to eat freely in China. They eat anything who's back/spine faces the sky - so basically - ANYTHING!!. And on my very very first meal in China on my first visit, I was invited by a local supplier - as the honourable foreigner - to a slap-up meal with the company's top management in a local restaurant. A separate room had been booked, and there were 14 of us all around this table, when the food started to arrive (as it does endlessly in China!!) and in front of me this sea-faring creature was actually LOOKING at me from within this broth shit that had arrived. IT WAS DEFINITELY ALIVE AND CONSCIOUS!! So I took a VERY deep breath and tried to be invisible. But nobody was doing anything. There was silence all around the table, and everyone was looking at me! I thought - WTF is going-on here? I asked my Chinese PA "What's happening Charlie?" to which he replied - "You are honoured guest. They are waiting for you to take the first serving!" H E L P ! ! I thought to myself. So I asked Charlie "what the hell is this?" and he shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't know! So I asked if it was normal to not know what you are eating, to which he replied something I will NEVER forget - "In China the food arrives and we eat! We don't necessarily know what it is, but after so many years of hardship through the centuries, we appreciate our food here". And it is true - anywhere you go in China, there is food for sale and people are eating. ENDLESSLY EATING!! What a fascinating culture and people.... Such a shame the Americans UTTERLY fail to understand the Chinese back home in the US... They keep making the same mistake over and over again all over the world, but I'm not going to go down THAT rabbit hole today!!!
