Thanks for these calculations. I came up owing them and I read somewhere that this is potentially due to my job change which of course changes income. I still do not fully understand in my case but this actually gives framework through which I can do my own calculations to better understand.

I got an sms saying I need to provide SARS with my correct banking details. at first, I was scared thinking I owed them but I will submit and wait on them. thank you so much.

Thank you for the content. I was supposed to get x amount from SARS returns but there was a confusing part which I still do not understand. There was a rebate deduction which nearly depleted the refund that was due to me. It makes more sense after I have watched your Video.

Thank you for this Nokuhle, I was auto-assessed last year and received close to R5k and this year I received less than a thousand rand. What could have been the reason for that because my salary has been the same for the year 2022 & 2023.

Don't reply directly and send your details to that email or message Rather go to the sars website and update your details by adding the bank details there

Can you do a video about things that you can take up that may increase your likelihood of getting a refund e.g medical aid , contributing to your retirement fund , investment properties , i think also having a travel allowance also can be part if you meet certain number of kms per year.

I just bumped into this, I need your help. I had a side hustle in which I earned based on the hours I claimed, somehow SARS when they did their estimates they told me I had a short fall. How can they estimate how much they would have earned from me if I was not paid a fixed amount each month? Now I owe them a lot of money and they have started with AA88 notice and is killing me.
