I always believed that each of the three prominant Spider-Man actors portrayed best one specific aspect of the character. Tobey was the best Peter Parker, an everyman you might not notice in the streets of New York who has struggles and heart that come with a lifetime of balancing life and work as well as the responsibility of being a superhero for a sometimes thankless city. Unfortunately, this means his Spider-Man is a bit more like Peter +, rather than it's own entity. Andrew is the best Spider-Man, a fun, cool superhero who is tinged by the darkness that comes with being the literal embodiment of the trolly problem. Because at the end of the day he is one hero and there are a numberless amount of villains, so how do you choose who to save when everyone needs your help. He's failed people, even in the small amount of time he had. Though this struggle and the persona with it bleeds back into Peter, making him a bit more Spider-Man even without the mask. Tom is the best combination of both Peter and Spider-Man, but an inferior version of both. While Tom isn't a perfect Spider-Man or Peter Parker, he is the best possible combination of both without leaning too hard either way. You can't get much better than that in a setting like this without animation and it's a commendable effort.

Same here. I believe it's a direct reference to the first film where he was assaulting a car jacker. Really showing off his dark side. Besides, the TASM2 suit might have some edginess for this reason after all. It has a significantly darker color palette, the spider logos can be seen as "threatening" depending on who you ask, and the eyes can look pretty angry looking at the correct angles. Just a thought of mine. :/ Though I'd say it strikes the perfect middle ground of a friendly or edgy Spider-Man suit. There’s friendlier elements like it's simplicity, the logos and colors not being the darkest stuff in the world, and the eyes still being very large and angular, but not Scarlet Spider level.

He’s probably the most relatable spider men. We’ve all had that downward spiral that we thought would never end. We’ve all been there.

I get that TASM2 was kinda goofy, but I really enjoyed it. I don't really watch movies, but the amazing spiderman 1 & 2 hook me up. i really hope they make a 3rd movie for Andrew because personally he is my favorite life action spiderman

Also tasm 2 had literally spider sensing gwen's death by seeing gwen's dad shows he detected her death a long time ago Also he detected her death in the final swing of tasm1 as well because his spider sense went off when he saw the george washington bridge and the clock tower together. you can clearly here his spider sense go off.

Also to those who don't know,I have researched on the tasm movies deleted scenes and there were multiple ways Gwen was going to die. Either Harry was going to stab using his glider or was going to snap her neck using his bare hands. One of the best and saddest scenes that is said to be deleted was Gwen being pregnant with Peter's baby. It is said that while Peter was crying holding gwen's body Harry laughs and says Peter that he not only killed the girl he loved but also their baby as well and he had known that Gwen was pregnant. Peter realises this and screams at Harry and attacks on Harry and almost kills him by continuously stabbing him with his own glider. He stops and doesn't kill him because he was his best friend and he was with him when his parents died. So Peter doesn't kill him and leaves him to die from blood loss.

Otherwise his movies would have ended worse than being a masterpiece that they have ended right now. Although I love tom Holland Spider-Man(because of his acting), accept the fact that had Spider-Man no way home not taken place then we would have never seen aunt may saying the responsibility line and the other two spiderman would have not explained him about responsibility and guilt then Peter would have ended up saying "It's ironmanin time" by the end of the movie. Especially if no way home was the kraven's last hunt story. MCU is just lucky that they were able to make tom comic accurate otherwise things definitely would have gone out of hands

By far my favorite spider man. He has the perfect mix between goofy and serious and I think he’s done the best job so far. Tom and Tobey are fantastic as well.

Disney is all fun and colors, light luaghs and dry jokes. It seems fake and ´´real´´ emotional people can't relate. it seems forced and scenified to portray something that spiderman is truely not, just to fit a broader and younger audience. Thats my personal and alot of others opinion. I love the visuals and the tech, but the storylines and emotional story of the MCU after Disney took over just doesnt touch me the same way the amazing spidermans universe did.

Because imagine each iteration of Spider-Man had taken an entire movie to defeat their enemy which means how difficult it is to defeat them and how dangerous they are. Most probably the sinister six would have defeated Spider-Man but for them to defeat some spiderman with the rage of Andrew's version along with venom symbiote would have been impossible Also I wouldn't mind if Andrew's movies get dark endings because this series was focusing on the emotional aspect of Peter parker more which means the creators can go to the extremes. To make a masterpiece movie,it is not necessary to make everything comic accurate

“I stopped pulling my punches” this right here gives me some horrifying images since most of the time Peter punches right off a web swing and since spiders can lift so much the force and momentum could theoretically punch through a person or worse

Fun fact, one of the deleted scenes for tasm2 was at the end wherePeter is at Gwen’s grave, his dad shows up and basically explains that he survived the plain crash and has been hiding out the whole time

Andrew is one of the best actors I've seen hands down

After watching this scene, Andrew Garfields Spiderman would be perfect prey to the Venom Symbiote. Especially with the deep seated rage Peter carried after Gwen Stacy's death.

The first spiderman that scared me

The fact that harry was taken by the goblin and he could do nothing but watch as he murdered his best friends girlfriend and then was killed by Peter because he became so furious is just sad.

Mayhaps. I would say this suit did look kinda scary in that context. And it especially looks scary in a perfect front view, making the eyes look very sharp and angular. Though TASM2 is 2 Hours and 22 Minutes. Making it the second longest Spider-Man Film under No Way Home, which clocks in at 2 Hours and 28 Minutes. And because of how much Sony loves to interfere with Spider-Man related projects, there's a good chance they thought that they should rid of this scene, due to it making the film "too long." As if most audiences care that much though.

Honestly though, if I were to fix the entire movie, have Harry set up in the first film, rid entirely of the parent subplot, that way the scene where his father consoles him is kept, don't spend so much time on the fact that Gwen is moving to England for college, hint at the fact that Harry is getting his disease from his father much earlier through a line of dialogue, so his effects aren't sped up for no reason, and of course keep this scene in.

Spider-Man might be one of the scariest superheroes when he gets fully pushed of the edge of reason. Remember when he ripped Kraven’s sister’s face off with his own two hands? 😅

if yall havent you should read the story where Spider-Man goes to the prison to intimidate Fisk after Fisk finds out his identity and has May shot. you get a full display of how strong he truly is, and how ruthless he could be if he chose it. its my favorite story, just becauae he’s so vulnerable and sad that he finally snaps and showcases what he’s capable of.

Do not forget that alternate ending scene with Peter's father Andrew nailed that scene with his acting

I mean it kinda is By saying "He stopped Pulling His punches and Got Rageful" he literally admitted to killing people You ever Read any Spidey Comics where he gets insanely mad or stops holding back? The dude has killed someone by funneling web Fluid into their nose until they inflated and exploded like a Balloon...... he once pimp slapped KingPin so hard the Dudes Skin tore off and hes literally Put people on T-Shirts pretty much just by Touching them A killer Spiderman is pretty Horrifying, I mean even People Like Rhino and even *Kraven* admitted to being afraid of a No holds barred Spiderman Out of the Three There Tobey may be the Toughest Most Experienced and Most Skilled Spiderman, He treats the other two like They are Younger Versions of him and he even Gives Andrew Therapy and easily stops Tom when he tried to Kill Gobby, but Andrew is probably the most Dangerous one of the Three if his "Bitterness" Is accurate to the comics

I’d like to think that Andrew when he said he became “rageful and “bitter” that he experienced having the symbiote on him which changes the behavior of one and so hints to a Amazing Spider-Man 3

Honestly if the right director did this, I would have loved to see a amazing spider man 3 but leaning towards more of a horror vibe and you could also put venom in there too, because honestly every version of spider man with the symbiont just seems like spider man is going through a edgy phase, but it would be really cool to get like an actual scary venom and I think Andrew would be perfect for this especially after this scene in NWH, but here’s to hoping that insomniac does this with venom

There are so many slow motion scenes in TAS2 it felt like a video game at its peak. It was perfection in my eyes to many people cannot enjoy a good super hero episode 👏

Tobey and Holland's spidey sure are scary when angry but.. When Andrew's spiderman is angry it would be a pure nightmare. When Andrew's spiderman is angry he even makes Bully Maguire look like a friendly neighbour hood hero.

Imagine him hitting harry, make him kneel down and give punch after punch like holland did in NWH And then stab harry with the glider. And then same thing happens in NWH and andrew stops peter in it instead of toby. WOAAAH THAT WOULD BE SICK!!!! If that really happened😍😍

Now that i think about it it made no sense for tobey to be the one to stop him we never saw him wanting to kill goblin in his movie even after he revealed himself to he norman on the other hand andrews movie had this deleted scene which makes me think the dude still had a big grudge and almost wanted to kill harry. Oh god he is basically one shotting normal humans to death.

Since this didn’t really explain anything I’ll try. Amazing Spider-Man 2 was originally going to have a much darker ending by having Harry Osbornes transformation be much more brutal. Teeth breaking and growing in, bones snapping and rearranging, all around body horror. Then his involvement with Gwen’s death was much more personal. He taunts Peter for not being able to save her because he was too weak. Peter snaps and goes on to beat Goblin Harry almost to death because he’s already injured from their battle. Peter knocks his teeth out, breaks his jaw, blood spatter and all. He pulls no punches.

I would watch another Andrew Garfield spiderman movie about that. This journey down a dark path of rage and back to the light. That would be dope.🤯👍
