honestly, the best casting for spiderman theres been. He completely inbodies peter parker. Regardless of whether or not there are better spiderman movies featuring toby or andrew I think hes portrayed the best spiderman himself. A young teen given amazing powers and discovering how to deal with them.

Ikr, if people would just take off their nostalgia goggles they’d see how perfect Tom is for the role! In the first movie he’s only 17yo! A kid playing a kid! He quips just as much as comic spidey, is acrobatic af, and tbh at least somewhat looks like an irl Peter Parker! Both Toby and Andrew were amazing spidermen, there is no denying that, but Tom is literally perfect for the role. Like how RDJ IS Ironman, Chris Evans IS Captain America, and Ryan Reynolds IS Deadpool!

Back here from NWH, what hurts about this is how you can see the maturity shift into his character as the movies go on. Mysterio, Goblin, and JJ.Jonah perfectly showed Peter how the world couldn't give two damns about a selfless, super-powered 17 yr old with a heart of gold trying to do the right thing.
